Cubs' Nico Hoerner: Absent from Saturday's lineup
Hoerner (neck) is not in the Cubs' starting lineup against the Diamondbacks on Saturday.

Giants' Luis Arraez: Doubles in loss Friday
Arraez went 1-for-4 with a double in Friday's 3-0 loss to the Rays.
Arraez accounted for the Giants' lone extra-base hit with a double in the fourth inning, though he was thrown out attempting to stretch it into a triple. The 29-year-old infielder has recorded at least one hit in eight of the last 10 games, batting .300 with five RBI, three doubles, two stolen bases and a run scored in 42 plate appearances during that span. He's slashing .303/.331/.369 with 11 RBI, 11 runs scored and four stolen bases across 132 plate appearances on the campaign.

Nick Yorke 2B | PIT
Pirates' Nick Yorke: Sent back to Triple-A
The Pirates optioned Yorke to Triple-A Indianapolis on Saturday.
The 24-year-old will be pushed off the active roster as a result of Jared Triolo's (knee) return from the injured list. Yorke has slashed .221/.308/.309 in the majors this season while adding a home run, six RBI and six runs scored through 78 plate appearances. His defensive versatility will make it easier for him to return to the majors later this year if Pittsburgh's depth is tested.

Ronny Mauricio 2B | NYM
Mets' Ronny Mauricio: First homer a game-winner
Mauricio went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Friday's win over the Angels.
With the score tied 3-3 in the seventh inning, Mauricio jumped on a Jose Fermin fastball up in the zone and crushed it 421 feet to right-center field for the game-winning hit. It was the 25-year-old's first homer in nine big-league games this season, and since Francisco Lindor (calf) was sidelined in late April, Mauricio has started seven of eight games while going 5-for-25 with an 0:8 BB:K. He's still got intriguing upside and was slashing .293/.349/.638 for Triple-A Syracuse in 15 games with six home runs and five steals prior to his most recent promotion, but Mauricio will need to figure out how to make more consistent contact to fully tap into his potential.

Lenyn Sosa 2B | TOR
Blue Jays' Lenyn Sosa: Three hits in win Friday
Sosa went 3-for-4 with a double and two runs scored in Friday's 7-3 win over the Twins.
It was Sosa's first multi-hit game since he joined the Blue Jays via trade from the White Sox on April 13. Across 34 trips to the plate with Toronto, Sosa has a .281/.273/.375 slash line with three doubles, four RBI, four runs scored and a 0:6 BB:K. He's serving as the team's utility infielder.

Nick Gonzales 2B | PIT
Pirates' Nick Gonzales: Reaching base frequently
Gonzales went 3-for-4 with a run scored and a walk Friday against the Reds.
Gonzales was on base four times, marking the eighth time in his last 12 games that he's reached base multiple times. He also has multiple hits seven times in that span, good enough to maintain a .457 average with five RBI and seven runs scored. Gonzales has provided very little power -- he has a .047 ISO across 117 plate appearances -- but he's been a decent source of counting stats while providing a very strong batting average. After beginning the season in a part-time role, he has also started 12 straight games.

Bryson Stott 2B | PHI
Phillies' Bryson Stott: Cracks first homer Friday
Stott went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run, one walk, a stolen base and two runs scored in Friday's 6-5 win over the Marlins.
With the Phillies nursing a 3-1 lead in the top of the seventh inning, Stott took lefty reliever Cade Gibson deep for his first homer of the season to put Philadelphia up by five. It's been a struggle at the plate for Stott through the first month-plus of the season, as he's now slashing just .211/.268/.311 with the one long ball, eight RBI, seven runs scored, six stolen bases and a 6:18 BB:K across 99 plate appearances. He has just three multi-hit games all season.
