Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: Goes deep twice
Marte went 2-for-4 with two home runs and four RBI in an 11-2 victory against the Pirates on Wednesday.
Owners looking for average or on-base percentage from Marte aren't going to find it -- he's slashing .247/.275/.495 -- but he does have six home runs and 20 RBI in 97 at-bats. He also has 12 runs and two steals this year. Expect more of the same; last season he posted a career-high 14 homers but only a .332 on-base percentage.

Mets' Jeff McNeil: Avoids serious injury
McNeil went for an X-ray following Monday's win over the Phillies but is expected to be fine after getting hit by a pitch on his hand, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.
McNeil remained in the game after being struck by the pitch, although he appears to have avoided a significant injury. He noted that the pitch merely nicked one of his fingernails and then glanced off his other hand. The 27-year-old, who hit his first homer of the year earlier in the game, is expected to be ready to play in the second contest of the series Tuesday.

Nico Hoerner 2B | CHC
Cubs' Nico Hoerner: Pops first home run
Hoerner, who went 1-for-7 with his first home run of the season in a doubleheader Monday, is batting .304 at Double-A Tennessee with an .885 OPS.
Hoerner is generally considered the Cubs' top prospect, and the 21-year-old is off to a good start at Double-A. He's already moved fairly aggressively through Chicago's system after getting drafted in the first round in 2018, so a move to Triple-A this year isn't out of the question for Hoerner.
