Nico Hoerner 2B | CHC
Cubs' Nico Hoerner: Tallies three hits Sunday
Hoerner went 3-for-5 with two doubles and a run scored in Sunday's loss to the Reds.
Hoerner has been locked in lately, as he's batting .400 over his last eight games with a home run, three runs scored and five RBI. The hot streak has pushed his season average up to .302. Hoerner profiled as a good contact hitter as a prospect, and he's mostly delivered on that potential during his time with the Cubs. If the 25-year-old can develop a little more power moving forward, he could see his fantasy stock make a big climb.

Thairo Estrada 2B | BAL
Giants' Thairo Estrada: Tallies homer, theft
Estrada went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run and a stolen base in an 8-7 win against the Pirates on Sunday.
Estrada singled and stole second in the third inning and launched a walkoff two-run home run off Pittsburgh reliever Wil Crowe in the ninth. Since returning from a concussion Aug. 7, Estrada has batted 9-for-27 with a double and two home runs across seven games. He's one of 10 players to tally at least 11 long balls and 16 stolen bases.

Luis Garcia 1B | WAS
Nationals' Luis Garcia: Heading to injured list
Garcia (groin) will be placed on the injured list Monday, Jeff Passan of ESPN.com reports.
Garcia has dealt with knee and groin issues recently, and he was held out of the lineup over the last two games. He'll be forced to miss at least a week and a half, while CJ Abrams will be recalled from Triple-A Rochester to take Garcia's place on the active roster.

Mets' Luis Guillorme: Dealing with groin issue
Guillorme was diagnosed with left groin tightness after leaving Sunday's game against the Phillies, Tim Britton of The Athletic reports.

Luis Guillorme 3B | HOU
Mets' Luis Guillorme: Leaves with injury
Guillorme was removed from Sunday's game against the Phillies with an apparent leg injury, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.
Guillorme delivered an RBI single and came around to score during the fourth inning, but he came up limping after running home from second base. Eduardo Escobar (oblique) is also banged up but took over at third base for Guillorme.

Jonathan India 2B | KC
Reds' Jonathan India: Hoping to avoid injured list
India (lower leg) is not expected to require a stint on the injured list, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports.
India was spotted limping Sunday, but he is considered day-to-day and should avoid any sort of extended absence. India will sit out Sunday for a second straight day, though, and it remains to be seen if he will be ready to return to action for Monday's series opener against the Phillies.

Gavin Lux SS | TB
Dodgers' Gavin Lux: Swats solo shot
Lux went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, an additional RBI and a walk in Saturday's 13-3 win over the Royals.
Lux knocked in the Dodgers' fourth run of the the first inning with a single to right field, and he followed with a 431-foot solo shot to center in the third. The long ball ended a nearly month-long homer drought for the 24-year-old, though he's otherwise been fine with a .297/.384/.459 slash line since July 15. Lux's lack of power (he has just five homers on the campaign) hurts his fantasy value, but he's still worth rostering in most leagues given his .299 batting average and seven stolen bases on the campaign.

Nolan Gorman 3B | STL
Cardinals' Nolan Gorman: Gets day off
Gorman is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Brewers, according to John Denton of MLB.com.
Gorman has faced a southpaw just 19 times all season, so it should come as little surprise that he is sitting Sunday with left-hander Aaron Ashby on the mound for the opponent. Albert Pujols will enter the lineup in Gorman's place.

Luis Garcia 1B | WAS
Nationals' Luis Garcia: Sidelined again Sunday
Garcia (groin) is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Padres, according to Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com.
Garcia has dealt with a couple leg injuries of late, and he will be held out Sunday for a second straight day. Ildemaro Vargas will handle the shortstop duties in Garcia's place.
