Hoerner went 2-for-5 with two walks, two RBI, one stolen base and one run scored in Saturday's 7-6 extra-innings loss to the Diamondbacks.

Hoerner's hitting streak is up to 11 games, during which he's gone 18-for-48 (.375) with five steals but just one extra-base hit. He's tied for fifth in the majors with 41 steals this season, more than double his previous career high (20), which was set last year. Hoerner is slashing .286/.345/.391 with nine home runs, 64 RBI, 92 runs scored, 26 doubles and four triples through 139 contests overall.

Rodgers will sit for the first half of Saturday's doubleheader against San Francisco, Patrick Lyons of TheDNVR.com reports.

Rodgers has hit a disappointing .209/.272/.270 in 31 games since returning from shoulder surgery. He could return to the lineup for the nightcap, but for now, it will be Harold Castro who starts at second base.

Kim went 0-for-5 with a walk and a stolen base in Friday's 8-3 win against Oakland.

Kim wasn't able to record a hit in the contest, but he still tied together something for his fantasy managers to smile about with a sixth-inning steal. The theft was his 36th of the season, tied for seventh-most in the majors. Kim has been tailor-made for the Padres' leadoff spot with an 85th percentile walk rate (11.9 percent) and 80th percentile sprint speed, and he's added some pop with 17 homers along with 58 RBI, 80 runs and a .266/.356/.408 slash line over 578 plate appearances. Kim did turn his ankle on his stolen base Friday but stayed in the game and is expected to play Saturday, per the Associated Press.

India went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in Friday's 5-3 victory over the Mets.

The clutch two-run shot in the seventh served as the game-winner for the Reds. Despite the homer, India has only three hits in 20 at-bats over the course of five games since returning from a stint on the injured list due to plantar fasciitis. In 108 games played, he's now slashing .246/.331/.411 with 16 home runs, 57 RBI, 70 runs and 13 steals over 414 at-bats.

Hernandez was a late addition to Friday's lineup, and he'll start in left field while hitting seventh.

Hernandez was not included in the original lineup, but he replaced David Peralta, who was scratched for an unknown reason. Hernandez has nine hits across 27 at-bats in his last 10 games, including a home run and two doubles.

Garcia isn't in the Nationals' lineup Friday against the Brewers, Andrew Golden of The Washington Post reports.

With southpaw Wade Miley on the mound for Milwaukee, Garcia will be forced to the bench for the start of Friday's game. Michael Chavis will instead start at the keystone while batting seventh.

Mauricio (illness) is starting at third base and batting sixth Friday versus the Reds in his return to the lineup, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

Mauricio has sat out the last two days with an illness but is feeling well enough to give it a go for the series opener against Cincinnati. This is the first major-league start at third base for the rookie, and he could see more action there if Brett Baty's groin injury lingers.

McNeil went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Thursday's win over the Diamondbacks.

Shifting back to second base with rookie Ronny Mauricio (illness) sidelined, McNeil got hold of a Merrill Kelly fastball and lofted it over the right-field fence in the fifth inning. The 31-year-old is up to nine homers on the season, but three of them have come in September -- a month in which McNeil is so far slashing .277/.320/.532 through 51 plate appearances.

Turang went 1-for-2 with a run scored and a stolen base in Thursday's victory over the Marlins.

Turang stole second base after reaching on an infield single in the seventh inning and was then driven home on a Tyrone Taylor double to put the Brewers up 4-2. It was the second baseman's fifth steal this month and the fourth in his last five starts. However, he's still batting just .243 in September with four RBI and five runs scored, while his last home run came back on Aug. 7.

Mauricio (illness) remains out of the lineup Thursday against the Diamondbacks, Abbey Mastracco of the New York Daily News reports.

He should be available off the bench, however, after fully sitting out of the Mets' win over the Diamondbacks on Wednesday. Mauricio, 22, has batted .306/.342/.444 with one homer and four steals through 10 major-league games since his Sept. 1 call-up.
