Arraez went 3-for-4 with a run scored in Monday's loss to the Giants.

All three hits were singles, but that's par for the course for Arraez. The reigning NL batting champ had a slow start to the season but quickly found his form, and he's hit safely in five straight games while going 8-for-20. The surge has lifted Arraez's slash line to .284/.368/.343 with 12 runs scored, but he has zero homers or steals and only one RBI.

Rodgers was scratched from the lineup ahead of Monday's 2-1 extra-inning loss to the Phillies due to an illness, MLB.com reports.

An explanation behind Rodgers' late scratch wasn't immediately provided leading up to the opening pitch, but the Rockies later relayed that the 27-year-old took part in a pregame workout and was held out after feeling under the weather. While he looks to have avoided a serious injury, Albies' status for Tuesday will be determined when he gets to the ballpark and is checked out. If Albies is not able to go Tuesday, Luis Guillorme would likely fill in at second base.

Garcia went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run against the Dodgers in Monday's 6-4 win.

Garcia produced the biggest hit of the contest for Washington, slamming a three-run homer in the fifth inning to extend the team's lead to four runs. The long ball was his first of the campaign, but he's also tied for third in the league with seven doubles. Garcia has looked good so far this season, slashing .318/.333/.545 with eight RBI, four runs and a stolen base through 45 plate appearances.

Stott went 2-for-3 with a run scored and a stolen base during Monday's 2-1 win over Colorado.

Stott reached three times in four plate appearances Monday, producing his first multi-hit game since March 30 (14 games). Stott's pilfer came in the third frame off Cal Quantrill, marking the second baseman's third steal of the campaign. While he hasn't put up monstrous performances this season, Stott has logged a hit in six consecutive starts with merely nine strikeouts and seven walks over 60 total plate appearances.

His recovery from offseason surgery on his right wrist has put Edman on the shelf to begin the 2024 campaign, but he recently received clearance to begin ramping up his activity. While he's still in the early stages, Edman will at least start taking some cuts and making contact with baseballs beginning Tuesday. The 28-year-old should play close to every day for St. Louis once healthy after exceeding 500 plate appearances each of the last three years.

Bae (hip) was activated from the 10-day injured list by the Pirates on Sunday and optioned to Triple-A Indianapolis, Noah Hiles of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Bae is done with his rehab from a left hip flexor injury, but the Pirates have elected to keep him at Indianapolis rather than add him to the major-league roster. He should be back to fill a utility role with the big club eventually.
