Bogaerts went 2-for-4 in Friday's 6-1 loss to Atlanta.

Bogaerts, who was activated from the injured list earlier in the day after recovering from a fractured left shoulder, was the only Padre to put up multiple hits in the contest. It was his first game action since May 20, and he played the full game at second base, which suggests he's healthy enough to handle a starting role. Luis Arraez and Jake Cronenworth are likely to be impacted by Bogaerts' return, though there's room for all three of them in the lineup against right-handers. Bogaerts is slashing .225/.270/.319 over 204 plate appearances this season, adding four home runs, four stolen bases, 14 RBI and 23 runs scored.

Bogaerts (shoulder) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list and will start at second base Friday against Atlanta, AJ Cassavell of MLB.com reports.

Marte is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Blue Jays.

Marte will take a seat Friday after starting in four consecutive games. In his place, Kevin Newman will bat ninth and play second base.

Stott is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Athletics.

Stott will dodge a matchup with southpaw Hogan Harris on Friday as Edmundo Sosa fills in at the keystone. Stott has logged a hit in six of his last seven games, with three runs and three RBI during that stretch.

Iglesias (illness) is starting at second base and batting seventh Friday against the Rockies, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

The veteran infielder sat out Thursday's contest due to an illness but is back in action for Friday's series opener versus Colorado. Iglesias has carried a hot bat of late and is hitting .286 with an .820 OPS in his past 10 games.

Lux is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Tigers.

Lux has gone 3-for-17 over the past three games on the heels of an 0-for-18 slump, but he'll hit the bench Friday as lefty Tarik Skubal takes the mound for Detroit. Chris Taylor will shift to second base while Enrique Hernandez receives a start at the hot corner.

The Phillies recalled Wilson from Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Friday.

The 29-year-old was up with the Phillies for a couple weeks in June but appeared in just two games. Wilson will rejoin the big club just ahead of the All-Star break and should fill a utility role with Whit Merrifield having been released.

Lux went 2-for-2 with a solo home run during Thursday's 5-1 loss to the Phillies.

Lux broke out of a mini-slump Thursday, reaching safely in both of his plate appearances after logging just one hit in his previous 23 at-bats. The second baseman has been working in the strong side of a platoon at second base and owns a .214/.267/.298 slash line with three homers this season.

Iglesias is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Nationals due to an illness, Steve Gelbs of SportsNet New York reports.

Though he had been expected to start Thursday against southpaw MacKenzie Gore, the right-handed-hitting Iglesias apparently felt ill during Wednesday's 6-2 win and required an IV after cramping up following the game. Iglesias is apparently still feeling under the weather Thursday, so the Mets will let him rest in the series finale while Jeff McNeil steps in at second base.

Though he'll hit the bench Thursday, Iglesias seems to have pushed his way into a near-everyday role in the New York infield. He had started in five of the previous six games, and he turned in another strong performance in Wednesday's 6-2 win, going 3-for-4 with a double, two RBI and two runs. Jeff McNeil will cover second base Thursday, but McNeil could end up seeing more time in the corner outfield if the Mets want to continue opening up regular playing time in the infield for Iglesias.
