  • Tigers' Harold Castro: Smacks first homer

Castro went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Saturday's 15-2 blowout loss to the White Sox.

Castro accounted for both of Detroit's runs when he took White Sox starter Dylan Cease deep in the first inning. The 27-year-old Castro was also called upon to mop up an inning in the laugher, and he didn't allow a baserunner in the ninth. The utility man has a .290/.333/.327 slash line with one homer, 13 RBI and seven runs scored across 115 plate appearances. Despite the solid on-base skills, his lack of both power and an everyday role greatly limits Castro's fantasy impact.

  • Cavan Biggio RF | HOU

Blue Jays' Cavan Biggio: Records three hits in win

Biggio went 3-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored in Saturday's win over the Red Sox.

Biggio looked excellent at the plate Saturday and has recorded hits in his two games since returning from a stint on the injured list. This was his first multi-hit game since May 15 and while he boosted his average to .222 with a .685 OPS, he continues to have a down year across most offensive categories.

  • Marcus Semien 2B | NYM

Blue Jays' Marcus Semien: Blasts two-run homer

Semien went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in Saturday's win over the Red Sox.

The infielder only recorded one hit in five trips to the plate but made his presence felt, as he launched his 15th homer of the campaign during the fifth inning, off Nick Pivetta. Semien extended his hitting streak to five games as a result, although he's gone just 6-for-23 in that span.

  • Elvis Andrus 2B | ARI

Athletics' Elvis Andrus: Walks it off Friday

Andrus went 2-for-4 with a game-winning RBI single and a double in a victory over the Royals on Friday.

Andrus' ninth-inning single narrowly plated Matt Chapman to snap a 3-3 tie, allowing the veteran shortstop to atone for a pair of earlier gaffes on defense that led to a Royals run in the eighth inning. Andrus' .213/.266/.274 season slash line naturally has plenty of room for improvement, but he's been markedly better thus far in June with a .276 average (8-for-29), four doubles, two RBI, five walks, a stolen base and four runs across nine games.

  • Marcus Semien 2B | NYM

Blue Jays' Marcus Semien: On base three times Friday

Semien went 2-for-4 with a walk and a run scored in Friday's loss to the Red Sox.

The veteran infielder continues to set the table effectively for Toronto. Since the beginning of May, Semien is slashing .344/.407/.603 with eight homers, two steals, 23 RBI and 30 runs through 37 games, and it's hard to imagine manager Charlie Montoyo removing him from the leadoff spot even once George Springer (quad) finally gets healthy.

  • Amed Rosario 3B | NYY

Indians' Amed Rosario: Keeps streak alive with four hits

Rosario went 4-for-5 with two runs scored and a stolen base in Friday's win over Seattle.

Rosario created havoc near the top of the order and in addition to pacing Cleveland in hits, he also extended his hitting streak to five contests -- a span in which he's recorded three multi-hit appearances. The shortstop is hitting .400 with one homer, four RBI, 10 runs scored and a .986 OPS across 31 plate appearances in June.

  • Red Sox's Christian Arroyo: Swats game-tying HR

Arroyo went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Friday's 6-5 win over the Blue Jays.

For the second time in as many games, Arroyo lifted the Red Sox with a game-tying home run. He did it with a three-run shot Thursday, then tied Friday's game in the eighth inning. He's driven in 15 runs this season, with 10 of the RBI coming in the last eight games. He's serving as Boston's primary second baseman and has career highs in average (.276) and OPS (.793). His .361 BABIP has propped up those numbers.

  • Danny Mendick 3B | CHW

White Sox's Danny Mendick: Collects two hits in win

Mendick went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored in Friday's 5-4 extra-inning win over Detroit.

Mendick made his second straight start at second base with Nick Madrigal (hamstring) sidelined and on the 60-day injured list. Mendick and Leury Garcia will be the main fill-ins for Madrigal, although Garcia was deployed in right field Friday in place of Adam Eaton for a second consecutive game. Manager Tony La Russa has taken to sitting Eaton against left-handers. Mendick can also play right field, appearing seven times there this season, the first outfield starts of his career.

  • Jose Altuve 2B | HOU

Astros' Jose Altuve: Continues power surge

Altuve went 1-for-4 with a solo home run, a walk and an additional run in Friday's 6-4 victory over Minnesota.

The second baseman drilled a solo shot to left field in the fifth inning, giving him three straight games with a long ball. Altuve has homered five times overall through 10 games this month -- in fact, half of his 10 hits in June have left the park. After going deep only five times in 210 plate appearances during the shortened 2020 campaign, Altuve has swatted 12 homers through 247 plate appearances this season.

  • Brandon Lowe 2B | PIT

Rays' Brandon Lowe: Homers, steals base

Lowe went 2-for-3 with a two-run homer, a walk and a steal in Friday's 4-2 win over Baltimore.

Lowe put the Rays on top in the fourth inning with his two-run blast off Keegan Akin. He's up to 11 home runs this season but has just two over the last 17 games. The 26-year-old is slashing .194/.305/.379 with four stolen bases and 27 RBI.
