Polanco will get Tuesday off with Clayton Kershaw on the bump for the Dodgers on Tuesday. Donovan Solano is starting at second base and hitting in the leadoff spot in Polanco's absence.

Massey is not in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Padres.
Massey has been excellent in May with a .343/.455/.571 slash line in 35 at-bats, but he'll get a night off against Seth Lugo and San Diego on Tuesday. Matt Duffy will start at second base and hit seventh.

Red Sox's Enrique Hernandez: Will return Wednesday
Hernandez (hamstring) will return to Boston's lineup Wednesday against the Mariners, Jen McCaffrey of The Athletic reports.
Hernandez's absence will officially be limited to three games as a result of his strained left hamstring. Prior to his injury, the 31-year-old utility man was slashing .235/.278/.294 in his last five games.

Red Sox's Christian Arroyo: Aiming for middle of road trip
Arroyo (hamstring) will not travel with the Red Sox for the start of their road trip this weekend but hopes to join the team a few days into it, Mac Cerullo of the Boston Herald reports.
Arroyo has been going through workouts but needs to play in a rehab game or two before being activated. The Red Sox are in San Diego this weekend before then going to Anaheim and Arizona, and it sounds like the goal is to get Arroyo back for one of the latter two stops.

Red Sox's Enrique Hernandez: Sitting out again
Hernandez (hamstring) remains out of the Red Sox' lineup for Tuesday's game against the Mariners, Gabrielle Starr of the Boston Herald reports.
Hernandez hasn't played since Saturday because of a left hamstring injury. He was able to participate in some pregame drills Monday and at this point, the hope is he can avoid the injured list. Pablo Reyes is handling shortstop duties again Tuesday.

Orioles' Adam Frazier: Hits fourth homer of season
Frazier went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Monday's 9-5 loss to the Angels.
Frazier gave the Orioles a 2-1 lead with a two-run home run in the second, marking his fourth long ball of the season. He's hit safely in three straight appearances, but he's still slashing just .227/.324/.370 across 40 games (136 plate appearances). With Ramon Urias (hamstring) on the injured list, Frazier figures to get the bulk of starts at second base moving forward.

Twins' Jorge Polanco: Homers, steals first bag
Polanco went 3-for-5 with a double, a homer, an RBI, three runs scored and a steal in Monday's 9-8 loss against the Dodgers.
Polanco singled, stole second and came around to score in the second inning. Polanco has not taken advantage of the new rules, as he had not even attempted to steal a base prior to Monday. The second baseman homered in the fourth off Noah Syndergaard, as a part of his three-hit night. Polanco is having a good season at the plate with an .816 OPS.

Royals' Nicky Lopez: Beginning rehab assignment Tuesday
Lopez (appendicitis) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Omaha on Tuesday.
Lopez will likely need a handful of games or more to get back into game shape after missing close to two weeks with appendicitis. The infielder should be back with the Royals early next week if there are no setbacks in his rehab action.
