Red Sox's Enrique Hernandez: Takes part in fielding work
Hernandez (hamstring), who is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Mariners, was able to take part in fielding work during pregame batting practice, Gabrielle Starr of the Boston Herald reports.
Hernandez is tending to a strained left hamstring that he sustained while running to first base trying to beat a double play in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Cardinals, but his ability to field grounders Monday suggests his injury isn't too severe. Pablo Reyes will make a second consecutive start at shortstop while Hernandez gets at least one more day off to heal up from the injury.

Jose Altuve 2B | HOU
Astros' Jose Altuve: Rehab moving to Texas League
Altuve (thumb) will move his rehab assignment to Double-A Corpus Christi on Tuesday, Michael Connor of SportsTalk 790 Houston reports.
Altuve has just two hits in his 13 at-bats in his rehab assignment thus far, but his movement to Double-A has everything to do with proximity and weather. The 33-year-old infielder will likely need a few more games before he's ready, and he could return from the 10-day injured list to make his season debut for the Astros as soon as this weekend's series with the Athletics.

Drury is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Orioles, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.
Drury will take a seat for the first time since May 4 after starting each of the Angels' last nine games at either first or second base. Luis Rengifo will step in at the keystone Monday while Matt Thaiss gets the nod at first base.

Red Sox's Enrique Hernandez: Out Monday with hamstring injury
Hernandez is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Mariners due to a left hamstring strain he sustained while grounding into a double play in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Cardinals, Ian Browne of MLB.com reports.
The hamstring injury explains why Hernandez is on the bench for the second day in a row for Monday's series opener with the Mariners. Pablo Reyes will fill in at shortstop for Hernandez, who should be viewed as day-to-day for the time being but could be at risk of a trip to the 10-day injured list if he doesn't show any improvement before the Red Sox begin a West Coast road trip later this week.

Red Sox's Enrique Hernandez: On bench again Monday
Hernandez is not in the lineup Monday against the Mariners, Jen McCaffrey of The Athletic reports.
It's the second straight day on the bench for Hernandez, who made a costly throwing blunder during Saturday's loss to the Cardinals. Hernandez will cede shortstop duties to Pablo Reyes again Monday.

Brandon Lowe 2B | PIT
Rays' Brandon Lowe: Drives in two
Lowe went 1-for-3 with two RBI, a run scored and a walk Sunday against the Yankees.
Lowe drove in his runs on a sacrifice fly and a groundout, though he still managed only his third hit across 11 games in May. In that span, he's hit just .083 with four RBI and two runs scored. Lowe is still a regular in the Rays' lineup against right-handed pitching, though that could change due to the team's depth if his performance doesn't improve.

Jordan Westburg 2B | BAL
Orioles' Jordan Westburg: Mastering Triple-A
Westburg is slashing .321/.395/.626 with 11 home runs and four steals in 147 plate appearances for Triple-A Norfolk.
Dating back to last season, Westburg has a .286/.370/.540 slash line with 29 home runs and 13 steals in 123 games at Triple-A. The athletic 24-year-old has seen time at five different positions this year at Triple-A, so he could fill any opening at the big-league level when the Orioles are ready to start his clock.

Tony Kemp 2B | MIN
Athletics' Tony Kemp: On bench, could lose regular role
Kemp is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rangers.
The lefty-hitting Kemp will take a seat with southpaw Andrew Heaney on the bump, but Kemp's opportunities to play regularly against right-handed pitching could soon take a hit as well. With Aledmys Diaz (hamstring) returning from the injured list Sunday, the Athletics have one less infield spot available in the regular lineup versus righties. Since rookie Jordan Diaz has seemingly played his way into a full-time role and because fellow veteran Jace Peterson holds a 122-point advantage in OPS for the season (.607 to .485), Kemp looks like he could find himself as the odd man out of the lineup more often than not.

Enrique Hernandez SS | LAD
Red Sox's Enrique Hernandez: Not starting Sunday
Hernandez is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Cardinals.
Hernandez started the last 11 games but will receive a day off after he posted a .460 OPS during that stretch. Pablo Reyes will take over at shortstop in Sunday's series finale versus St. Louis.

Andres Gimenez 2B | TOR
Guardians' Andres Gimenez: Pops homer in Saturday's win
Gimenez went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 8-6 win over the Angels.
Gimenez added an insurance run with his eighth-inning solo shot, which capped a six-run rally for the Guardians. Over his previous 10 games, the second baseman went 6-for-34 (.176) with one extra-base hit, a triple and two RBI. He's slashing .231/.299/.366 with three homers, nine RBI, 22 runs scored and six stolen bases through 37 contests.
