Cron went 3-for-5 with a pair of two-run homers and an RBI single in Friday's win over San Diego.

Cron filled up the box score on Friday, launching a pair of two-run home runs, sending Charlie Blackmon home both times. Cron also plated Yonathan Daza on an infield single to help give the Rockies a 10-4 win. The first baseman now has a hit in eight of his last nine games, including three multi-hit games. The home runs Friday were Cron's first since June 2 and he now has 16 on the season. The three-hit outing raised his batting average to an impressive .291 in 65 contests.

Gurriel went 3-for-3 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Friday's victory over the White Sox.

Gurriel picked up his solo shot in the bottom of the second inning off Lucas Giolito, then came around to score on Michael Brantley's grand slam in the sixth. The first baseman has at least one hit in seven of his last eight games. The three-hit outing raised Gurriel's batting average to .229, the highest it has been since May 22.

Rizzo went 2-for-3 with a walk, a grand slam and a second run scored in Friday's 12-3 win over the Blue Jays.

His fifth-inning blast off Trevor Richards capped an eight-run frame for the Yankees that put the game out of reach. Rizzo has gone yard in back-to-back games while batting .271 (16-for-59) through 15 contests in June with six of his 17 homers and 18 of his 47 RBI on the season.

Naylor went 0-for-2 with a sacrifice fly, a stolen base and a walk in Friday's 2-1 extra-inning win over the Dodgers.

Naylor tied the game with a sac fly in the fourth inning to bring home Jose Ramirez. In his last five games, Naylor has gone 6-for-18 (.333) with four RBI and four doubles. The 24-year-old is up to a .272/.333/.483 slash line with seven home runs, 35 RBI, 18 runs scored and 11 doubles in 42 contests overall. His strong hitting has earned him a consistent role in the starting lineup at either first base or designated hitter at the expense of Owen Miller's playing time, though that balance could be altered once Franmil Reyes (hamstring) returns from his rehab assignment.

France went 2-for-4 with a double, three RBI and a run scored in Friday's 8-1 win over the Angels.

France missed his first game of the year Thursday due to general soreness, but he didn't need to sit out another contest. He delivered a big hit in the fourth inning, smacking a bases-loaded double to extend the Mariners' lead to 7-0. The 27-year-old has gone 12-for-44 (.273) in his last 11 contests as he remains one of the M's most consistent hitters. France has a .320/.395/.490 slash line with 10 home runs, 44 RBI, 30 runs scored and 13 doubles through 64 games.

Bell went 3-for-6 with three homers, three walks, five RBI and four runs scored across both halves of Friday's doubleheader against the Phillies.

The Nationals lost both games, but Bell certainly did all he could to prevent that. He homered off Ranger Suarez in Game 1 and took Bailey Falter deep twice in Game 2. Bell has traditionally fared far better against righties than lefties, so to see him take southpaws deep three times in one day was quite impressive. He's now homered four times in the first three games of this five-game series.

Votto was scratched from Friday's lineup against the Brewers, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

It's unclear why Votto was pulled from the lineup. Mike Moustakas will play first base while Kyle Farmer slots in at designated hitter.

France will bat second and play first base Friday against the Angels after missing Thursday's opener due to general soreness.

France sat for the first time all season Thursday, but it evidently wasn't a scheduled day off and was instead due to a minor injury. The issue is apparently no longer bothering him, so he'll return to his role as a key member of the Mariners' lineup.

Beaty (shoulder) was transferred to the 60-day injured list Friday.

Beaty has been on the injured list since early May, but he reported to Triple-A El Paso on May 24 to begin a rehab assignment. However, his rehab assignment was paused in early June, and he'll now be ineligible to return until at least early July. A better idea of his return timetable should be revealed once he resumes a rehab assignment.

Wade (knee) will start a rehab assignment this weekend, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Inflammation and a bone bruise on his left knee sidelined Wade to start the season, and then he went back on the injured list with knee inflammation May 20. He recently was slowed in his recovery due to hamstring tightness. Once Wade is activated, he will likely be used primarily against right-handed pitching.
