Wade isn't in the Giants' lineup Saturday against Atlanta, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.

Southpaw Max Fried will start on the mound for Atlanta, meaning the left-handed bat of Wade will stay put in the Giants' dugout to begin Saturday's game. J.D. Davis will take over at first base, allowing Casey Schmitt to start at third and bat eighth.

Noda went 3-for-5 with an RBI single, a two-run home run, a walk and an additional run scored in a win over the White Sox on Friday.

Noda continued the hot hitting that's been his trademark since returning from the injured list, authoring his first multi-hit effort and slugging his first homer since July 18 in the process. The rookie's .813 OPS is also at its highest point since June 21, and he's encouragingly struck out just twice in his first 20 plate appearances since returning from the IL (34.0 percent strikeout rate going into the sample).

Freeman went 4-for-5 with a double, three runs and an RBI in a 7-4 win against the Red Sox on Friday.

Among Freeman's four base knocks was a seventh-inning RBI double that gave Los Angeles its first lead of the game. The two-bagger was his league-leading 48th of the campaign, moving him one behind Shawn Green for the Los Angeles Dodgers record and four behind Johnny Frederick for the overall franchise mark. Freeman has been blistering at the plate of late, going 9-for-14 with three doubles, five runs and two RBI over his past three games.

Guerrero went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 5-2 loss to the Guardians.

The first baseman snapped a 16-game power outage, a stretch in which Guerrero has slashed .279/.353/.328 with only four RBI. After slugging a combined 80 homers over the prior two seasons, the second-generation star has only 19 in 125 games in 2023, and the Jays will likely need Guerrero to heat up in September if they're going to make the playoffs.

Diaz went 1-for-3 with a solo home run Friday against the Yankees.

Diaz was one of the few bright spots for the Rays as he blasted his 17th homer of the season. He's tallied six multi-hit efforts across his last eight games, and he's also racked up six RBI across the first four games of the Rays' current homestead. Diaz's power production has slowed considerably after the first two months of the season, but he remains an excellent source of batting average and counting stats.

Mountcastle went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's win over the Rockies.

Mountcastle hit his 18th homer in the first inning off Kyle Freeland to kick off the scoring for the Orioles. Following a series with Toronto that saw him collect just one hit, Mountcastle picked up where he had previous left off in August with his seventh multi-hit effort of the month. He's now hitting .366 with 30 hits in 82 August at-bats including five home runs, 16 RBI and 16 runs scored.

Bohm went 2-for-4 with a double, a solo home run and two runs scored in Friday's 7-2 win over the Cardinals.

Bohm's home run off Miles Mikolas to lead off the sixth provided the Phillies a three-run cushion. He had also previously doubled off Mikolas to earn his third multi-hit effort in his last six games. The 14 homers and 79 RBI are both career highs for Bohm, who is now slashing .284/.338/.433 on the season.

Goldschmidt went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Friday's 7-2 loss to Philadelphia.

Goldschmidt gave the Cardinals an early lead with his first-inning dinger, but that was the only damage the Redbirds could manage on the evening. The 35-year-old slugger remains productive, slashing .278/.367/.457 through 125 games. However, his 21 home runs leave him on a pace to finish below 30 home runs in a full season for the first time since 2016.

Tellez went 2-for-4 with a home run and four RBI in Friday's win over the Padres.

Tellez ripped a three-run homer in the third inning and also tacked on an RBI single. Between poor performance and a lengthy stint on the injured list, it was his first long ball since May 22. During that 38-game homerless drought, he posted a brutal .160/.215/.200 slash line. Tellez now owns a .686 OPS with 41 RBI and 13 home runs through 82 games.

Cronenworth was lifted from Friday's game in Milwaukee after being hit on the right wrist by a pitch, 97.3 The Fan reports.

A 92 mph Andrew Chafin fastball caught Cronenworth in a bad spot and he was quickly removed from the game. The infielder is no doubt headed for X-rays, with an update on his condition possibly available later Friday. Cronenworth was 1-for-3 with a single in addition to the hit by pitch before exiting.
