Flores' $6 million club option was declined by the Diamondbacks on Thursday, making him a free agent.

Flores recorded a career-high .848 OPS but only managed to hit nine home runs with 37 RBI over 89 games played in 2019. The 28-year-old shouldn't have trouble finding a place on another roster given career numbers against lefties.

Bour elected free agency rather than accept an outright assignment to Triple-A Salt Lake on Monday.

Bour endured a tough time in 2019, hitting just .172/.259/.364 with eight homers in 52 games. The 31-year-old has a solid .253/.337/.457 career slash line and could likely still play a role as at least a platoon option next season, but his poor 2019 campaign may require him to take a minor-league deal this winter.

Voit (abdomen) recently underwent surgery to address core muscle injuries, but is expected to be ready for spring training, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.

Voit was in a slump at the end of the regular season, going 1-for-32 with 13 strikeouts, which led to a decreased role in the postseason. General manager Brian Cashman revealed Thursday that the 28-year-old had surgery, so it's safe to wonder whether injuries played a role in Voit's struggles. The first baseman hit .263/.378/.464 but had 142 strikeouts in 2019.

Cron had a surgical debridement of his right thumb last week, Betsy Helfand of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.

Cron battled the thumb issue for much of the season, and the procedure will remove dead or unhealthy tissue from the area. The initial recovery timeline is 6-to-8 weeks, which puts the 29-year-old on track to be ready for spring training. Cron slashed .253/.311/.469 with 25 home runs and 78 RBI in 125 games during 2019.

Freeman underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right elbow Wednesday.

The procedure cleaned up loose bodies and bone spur formations in Freeman's elbow. He'd been dealing with an elbow issue throughout September and didn't perform up to his usual standards in the playoffs, going 4-for-20 at the plate. He's expected to be ready for spring training, but the procedure does still add some slight injury risk to the veteran heading into his age-30 season.

Cabrera is not in the lineup for Game 2 of the NLCS against the Cardinals on Saturday.

Cabrera will sit for the second straight game after going 1-for-9 in the NLDS. Howie Kendrick is starting at second base, with Ryan Zimmerman at first.

Voit is not on the Yankees' ALCS roster.

The Astros chose to carry a pitching staff comprised entirely of right-handers for the ALCS, so the Yankees did not see a role for Voit, whose main strength would have been his availability to pinch-hit against left-handed pitchers. Despite his presence on the ALDS roster, Voit did not appear in any of the team's three games against the Twins. DJ LeMahieu should mainly handle the duties at first base with Edwin Encarnacion serving as the designated hitter.

Cron's thumb injury lingered through much of the season, resulting in a pair of trips to the injured list and limitations at the plate. The 29-year-old will receive an outside opinion, with the possibility that a procedure may be able to help his recovery.

Diaz (foot) is not in the starting lineup for Game 5 of the American League Division Series against the Astros on Thursday.

Diaz remains sidelined Thursday after exiting Game 3 with a foot injury. Joey Wendle will start at third base, batting seventh.
