Voit (knee) has resumed running outside and will ramp up his activities in the near future, Brendan Kuty of The Newark Star-Ledger reports.

Voit went through defensive drills Saturday, and he continues to increase his workload while he recovers from knee surgery that he underwent in late March. A timetable for the 30-year-old's return to game action hasn't yet been established, but DJ LeMahieu and Mike Ford should continue to fill in at first base while Voit is sidelined.

Votto will be on the bench Monday against the Dodgers.

Votto will rest his 37-year-old legs after starting each of the team's first 21 games. Alex Blandino will take over for him at first base.

Cron went 4-for-5 with a two-run homer and also scored twice in Sunday's 12-2 win over the Phillies.

Cron had three singles in Sunday's blowout win before showcasing some late power when he launched a two-run blast to left-center in the eighth to put the Rockies up 12-2. The 31-year-old had a really slow start to the season but has started to find his swing as he's slashing .371/.421/.686 with three home runs, 10 RBI and six runs scored over his last 10 games.

Mountcastle went 0-for-3 with a walk, a stolen base and two runs scored in Sunday's 8-1 win over the Athletics.

Mountcastle reached on a fielder's choice in the fourth inning and scored on an Austin Hays home run. In the eighth, Mountcastle walked, stole second base and scored on a bases-loaded walk to Ryan McKenna. The 24-year-old Mountcastle has three stolen bases this year, two of which have come in the last three games. He's added a .167/.208/.264 slash line with one homer, seven RBI and six runs scored across 77 plate appearances.

Flores exited Sunday's game against the Marlins since he was "feeling under the weather," Kerry Crowley of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

Flores drew a walk and scored a run in the second inning Sunday, but he was replaced by Jason Vosler at third base to begin the third inning. It's not yet clear whether Flores will be available for Monday's series opener against the Rockies.

Gurriel went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in Sunday's 4-2 loss to the Angels.

Gurriel launched a two-run shot off Dylan Bundy in the seventh inning to tie the game at 2-2. He's been on fire this week, racking up three homers and 10 RBI over his last five games. The 36-year-old righty is slashing .333/.451/.560 through 91 plate appearances.

Abreu went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and a sacrifice fly in Sunday's 8-4 win over the Rangers.

Abreu opened the scoring with a two-run homer off Rangers starter Kohei Arihara in the first inning. Abreu added a sacrifice fly in the second. The first baseman has five homers, 17 RBI, 11 runs scored and a stolen base in 21 games. He's struggled to make contact in 2021 with a 28.2 percent strikeout rate and a .225 batting average.

Freeman went 1-for-3 with a single in Game 1 of Sunday's doubleheader against the Diamondbacks.

Freeman accounted for the Braves' only hit, as he knocked a single in the sixth inning, but it was a poor showing from the Braves' offense -- they went 1-for-21 as a team with two walks and six strikeouts. The star first baseman ended a two-game hitless streak but is having a down start to the year, hitting just .214 across 87 plate appearances.

Alonso went 1-for-2 with a home run, an additional run scored and two walks in Sunday's win over Washington.

Alonso launched his fifth homer of the season in the fifth inning off Patrick Corbin, and the slugger has gone deep three times over his last five games. He also extended his hitting streak to five games, a span in which he's racked up three homers, five RBI, four walks and four runs scored.

France went 1-for-4 with a double, an RBI and two strikeouts Sunday against the Red Sox.

France now has eight doubles this season, and he has four of those over his last four contests. The second baseman extended his hitting streak to four games and has hit safely in nine of his last 10 appearances, hitting .382 in that span.
