  • Rhys Hoskins 1B | CLE

Phillies' Rhys Hoskins: Back in starting lineup

Hoskins (groin) is back in the starting lineup Tuesday against the Nationals.

Hoskins was out of the lineup for the previous four games due to a left groin injury, but he was able to make a pinch-hit appearance Monday. The issue appears to have subsided, as he'll man first base and bat second Tuesday.

  • Giants' Wilmer Flores: Homers off bench Monday

Flores (back) went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Monday's 11-8 extra-inning win over Arizona.

The veteran infielder didn't start the game, but he entered as part of a double switch in the fifth inning. Flores proceeded to go yard in the sixth -- his fifth homer in his last 14 games. Considering that the 29-year-old logged 5.2 innings in the field Monday, it shouldn't be too long before he's back in the starting nine.

  • Ty France 1B | SD

Mariners' Ty France: Mashes 11th homer

France went 3-for-5 with a double, a home run, three RBI and two runs scored in Monday's 8-2 win over the Rays.

He led off the seventh inning with a solo shot off Chris Mazza, but France was in the thick of Seattle's five-run third as well. The 27-year-old roared back with a vengeance after seeing his nine-game hitting streak snapped Sunday, and he's slashing .343/.397/.537 through 16 contests since the All-Star break -- a span in which he's hit three of his 11 homers on the year.

  • Pete Alonso 1B | BAL

Mets' Pete Alonso: Slugs 24th homer

Alonso went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Monday's 6-3 loss to the Marlins.

He took Jesus Luzardo deep in the third inning for the Mets' final run of the night. Alonso has been particularly dangerous since the All-Star break, slashing .292/.354/.611 over his last 18 games with seven of his 24 homers on the year.

  • Orioles' Ryan Mountcastle: Slugs 18th homer

Mountcastle went 3-for-4 with a solo home run, a double and two total runs scored in Monday's 7-1 win over the Yankees.

The 24-year-old may be finding his swing again, as he's on a five-game hitting streak and has multiple hits in his last three games. Mountcastle is up to 18 homers, 59 RBI, 48 runs scored and four stolen bases with a .259/.305/.465 slash line through 390 plate appearances. He came up a triple shy of the cycle Monday, although he has just one three-bagger in his 133-game major-league career.

  • Blue Jays' Vladimir Guerrero: Smacks 34th homer

Guerrero went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run in Monday's 5-2 extra-inning loss to Cleveland.

The superstar slugger accounted for all of Toronto's run production with his sixth-inning blast. Guerrero is on a six-game hitting streak, during which he's gone 8-for-24 (.333). That's right in line with his play all year -- he owns a .328/.423/.659 slash line with 34 homers, 85 RBI, 82 runs scored and a pair of stolen bases through 437 plate appearances.

  • Cardinals' Paul Goldschmidt: Breaks RBI drought in win

Goldschmidt went 1-for-4 with an RBI single and a run-scoring sacrifice double play while adding a stolen base in a win over the Twins on Sunday.

Golschmidt bounced back from an increasingly rare 0-for-4 day Saturday and produced only his second and third RBI of the last 11 games. The veteran slugger has been highly productive otherwise in the second half of the season, posting a .290 average, .880 OPS, three doubles, four home runs, eight RBI, six walks, a pair of steals and eight runs across 15 post-All-Star-break contests.

  • Giants' Wilmer Flores: Not starting Monday

Flores (back) is out of the lineup Monday against the Diamondbacks, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Flores is out of the starting nine for the second straight day after exiting Saturday's contest with soreness in his lower back, though he did appear as a pinch hitter Sunday. The 29-year-old figures to be available off the bench again Monday.

  • LaMonte Wade LF | HOU

Giants' LaMonte Wade: Sitting out Monday

Wade (back) is not in the lineup Monday at Arizona, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Wade left Sunday's win over Houston with tightness in his lower back and will miss at least one game as a result. It's unclear whether the 29-year-old will be available off the bench Monday. Alex Dickerson will receive the start in left field while Darin Ruf works at first base.

  • Rhys Hoskins 1B | CLE

Phillies' Rhys Hoskins: Remains out of lineup

Hoskins (groin) remains out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Nationals.

Hoskins continues to deal with a left groin injury, and he'll be held out of the lineup for a fourth consecutive game. Brad Miller will start at first base and bat fifth.
