Smith went 2-for-4 with a grand slam, one walk and two strikeouts in Friday's win against the Blue Jays.

Smith took part in a 10-run rally during the fourth inning Friday by smashing a grand slam with no outs. The 25-year-old has been dominant at the plate in 2020, slashing .331/.397/.654 with 25 extra-base hits and 36 RBI, all of which are the top marks of his career.

Bell went 3-for-4 with a two-run homer in a 4-3 loss to the Royals on Friday.

Bell is 7-for-14 over his last four games, including his first home run since late August. Bell has been a bit of an enigma in 2020. After strong campaigns to begin his career and a breakout in 2019, he has limped to a .224 average over 143 at-bats this year. Furthermore, Baseball Savant places him in the top 10 percentile for exit velocity while simultaneously near the bottom quarter of the league in expected slugging.

Hoskins went 2-for-4 with a three-run homer and a second run scored during an 11-0 win over the Marlins in the first game of Friday's doubleheader.

The Phillies were already up 6-0 when Hoskins took Trevor Rogers deep in the fourth inning. Hoskins continues to mash the ball and put his sluggish start to the season behind him -- nine of his 10 homers on the year have come in his last 18 games, a stretch during which he's slashing .297/.373/.716 with 19 RBI.

Calhoun went 1-for-3 with a double, an RBI and a run scored in Friday's 4-3 win over Seattle.

Calhoun's sacrifice fly delivered the Diamondbacks' fourth run, which was just enough to escape with the win. It's been an odd year for Calhoun, who has spent many days below .200 and is currently batting .199, but he's made an impact. Seventeen of his 29 hits -- including a team-high nine home runs -- have gone for extra bases.

Votto went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and a walk in Friday's 3-1 win over the Cardinals.

Votto put the Reds on the board with a big blast to right field off Cardinals starter Adam Wainwright in the first inning. It was Votto's first homer in nine games, and his seventh of the year. The first baseman has slashed .219/.335/.409 with 14 RBI and 22 runs scored in 39 contests this season.

Beaty was optioned to the alternate training site Friday, Jorge Castillo of the Los Angeles Times reports.

The 27-year-old earned a spot on the Opening Day roster and has a .638 OPS with two homers in 54 plate appearances. Beaty will head to the alternate site to stay fresh in hopes of rejoining the Dodgers for the final stretch of the season.

Freeman went 2-for-4 with two two-run home runs in Thursday's 7-6 win over the Nationals.

After tallying a homer and six RBI in Wednesday's blowout win over Miami, Freeman picked up right where he left off Thursday. The first baseman's pair of two run-shots brought him to 10 long balls and a major-league leading 42 RBI on the campaign. The 30-year-old is hitting at a robust .333/.450/.635 clip.

Flores went 2-for-4 with a solo home run during Thursday's loss to the Padres.

Flores got the Giants on the board with a solo shot off Chris Paddack in the second inning. It was the 29-year-old's team-leading ninth long ball of the season. He is slashing .296/.341/.546.

Goldschmidt went 1-for-2 with a walk, a solo home run and a second run scored during a 12-2 win over the Tigers in the first game of Thursday's doubleheader.

The blast extended his hitting streak to six games, although Goldschmidt saw it snapped in the nightcap when he went 0-for-3 with a walk. The veteran slugger is slashing .325/.459/.513 through 37 games on the year with five homers and 15 RBI.

Freeman went 3-for-6 with a home run, six RBI and two runs Wednesday in the Braves' 29-9 beatdown of the Marlins.

Freeman's evening was highlighted by a two-run, line-drive homer in the third and a liner that took a wicked hop and bounced off Jazz Chisholm before dribbling into right field for a bases-clearing double. The first baseman leads the team with a .329 batting average and .449 on-base percentage on the season and has now collected 16 RBI over his last six games.
