Christian Walker 1B | HOU
Diamondbacks' Christian Walker: Homers, on base thrice
Walker went 1-for-2 with a solo home run and two walks in a 10-5 loss to Arizona on Sunday.
Walker broke out of an early skid with walks in the fourth and eighth innings sandwiching a homer in the sixth. The 31-year-old should see steady run in the middle of Arizona's weak lineup and is a fringe fantasy asset if he can approach his 2019 numbers.

Luke Voit 1B | NYM
Padres' Luke Voit: Reaches base four times
Voit went 1-for-2 with two runs and three walks in a 10-5 triumph over the Diamondbacks on Sunday.
Voit walked in the second, fifth and sixth innings, scoring on two occasions, and singled in the ninth. The former Yankee leads the majors with seven walks -- two more than anyone else -- and sports an impressive .529 OBP in the early going.

Garrett Cooper 1B | ATL
Marlins' Garrett Cooper: Sustains left wrist contusion
Cooper was removed from Sunday's game against the Giants in the top of the fourth inning due to a left wrist contusion, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
Cooper exited Sunday's matchup after being hit by a pitch, but he underwent X-rays after the game that came back negative. Prior to his departure, he went 1-for-2 with an RBI. Since initial test results have been encouraging, he should tentatively be considered day-to-day ahead of Monday's game against the Angels.

Matt Olson 1B | ATL
Braves' Matt Olson: First homer with new team
Olson went 3-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Sunday's loss to the Reds.
Olson touched up rookie flamethrower Hunter Greene for his first home run with Atlanta. The first baseman doesn't seem fazed by the outside pressures that come with a new $168 million contract extension. He is batting .571 with a 1.576 OPS through four games as Atlanta's two-hole hitter.

Pete Alonso 1B | BAL
Mets' Pete Alonso: Launches first career slam
Alonso went 1-for-5 with a grand slam in Saturday's 5-0 win over the Nationals.
He also struck out three times, but Alonso's fifth-inning slam was the decisive blow in the game. It was the slugger's first homer of the season and the first bases-loaded blast of his career. Through three games to begin the year, Alonso's slashing .286/.333/.571.

Rhys Hoskins 1B | CLE
Phillies' Rhys Hoskins: Goes deep for first time in 2022
Hoskins went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, a double and a walk in a 4-2 victory over the Athletics on Saturday.
The Phillies were clinging to a 2-0 lead Saturday when Hoskins led off the sixth inning with a solo shot to left field. The long ball was his first of the campaign and accounted for his third RBI in two games. Hoskins is 4-for-6 with a pair of walks so far in 2022.

Drew Ellis 1B | PHI
Diamondbacks' Drew Ellis: Takes seat Saturday
Ellis isn't starting Saturday's game against the Padres.
Ellis started in each of the first two games of the regular season and went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts. Sergio Alcantara will start at the hot corner and bat eighth Saturday.

Matt Olson 1B | ATL
Braves' Matt Olson: Three hits in Friday's win
Olson went 3-for-5 with a double in Friday's 7-6 win over the Reds.
He wasn't able to turn the knocks into production despite a good night overall for the Atlanta offense, but the runs and RBI will come for Olson. The 28-year-old reached triple digits in each category last season in a much less potent Oakland attack, and Olson has reached base five times in his first two games with his new club.

Josh Bell DH | MIN
Nationals' Josh Bell: Slugs first homer of year
Bell went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and a second run scored in Friday's 7-3 loss to the Mets.
He tied the game up at 3-3 in the fourth inning by turning around a Max Scherzer fastball and sending it 443 feet into the second deck in right-center, but it was the last gasp of offense for the Nationals on the night. It was Bell's first homer and first RBI of the season as he looks to build on last year's solid numbers, which included 27 homers and 88 RBI.
