  • LaMonte Wade 1B | CHW

Giants' LaMonte Wade: Out against lefty

Wade is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Cardinals, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.

The lefty-hitting Wade is on the bench for a second straight game while southpaw Matthew Liberatore takes the bump for St. Louis in the series opener. Wilmer Flores will pick up another start at first base in place of Wade.

  • Luke Voit 1B | NYM

Mets' Luke Voit: Gets minors deal from Mets

Voit signed a minor-league contract with the Mets on Monday, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

Voit was cut loose by the Brewers earlier this month after putting up a lowly .549 OPS through 74 plate appearances. He will report to Triple-A Syracuse for the time being but could get a look with the Mets before long as they deal with the loss of Pete Alonso (wrist).

  • Diamondbacks' Christian Walker: Doubles twice in win

Walker went 2-for-5 with two doubles, an RBI and a run scored in Sunday's 7-5 win over the Tigers.

Down to his final strike in the ninth inning, Walker ripped his second double of the game, driving in two to give Arizona a 6-5 lead. The 32-year-old Walker is off to a nice start in June, batting .313 (10-for-32) with an .830 OPS through eight games. Overall, Walker is slashing .252/.315/.474 with 12 homers. 38 RBI and 37 runs scored through 257 plate appearances this season.

  • Garrett Cooper 1B | ATL

Marlins' Garrett Cooper: Socks seventh homer

Cooper went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's win over the White Sox.

His eighth-inning blast to straightaway center field in the eighth inning off Keynan Middleton helped the Marlins rally from a 5-1 deficit. Cooper has seven homers on the season, including two in his last five starts as he looks to shake off a rough May that saw him slash .175/.217/.333 in 60 plate appearances with 20 strikeouts.

  • Padres' Jake Cronenworth: Goes deep in loss

Cronenworth went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 5-4 loss to the Rockies.

Cronenworth gave the Padres a 3-1 lead in the fourth inning. He's collected a pair of extra-base hits over his last three games after going nine contests without one. The infielder owns a .215/.325/.377 slash line with seven homers, 24 RBI, 27 runs scored and three stolen bases over 64 games as the Padres' primary first baseman.

  • Dodgers' Freddie Freeman: Homers again Sunday

Freeman went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's loss to the Phillies.

Freeman has now hit safely in six straight games, going 9-for-21 (.428) with three home runs in that span. The veteran first baseman has been on a tear for the better part of a month -- he's batting .405 with eight homers and 30 RBI in his last 29 games. Overall, Freeman is slashing .338/.413/.586 with 13 homers, 44 RBI, 57 runs scored and eight steals through 303 plate appearances this season.

  • Dominic Smith 1B | ATL

Nationals' Dominic Smith: Hits second home run of season

Smith went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 6-2 win over Atlanta.

Smith has been a consistent offensive threat in his first season with Washington, but he hasn't provided much power, which isn't surprising given he's never had more than 11 long balls in a season. The soon-to-be 28-year-old has already appeared in 61 games this season, the third most of his seven-year career, so as long as he stays healthy, he figures to have a regular spot in the Nationals' lineup.

  • Matt Olson 1B | ATL

Braves' Matt Olson: Gives Atlanta early lead

Olson went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 6-2 loss to the Nationals.

Olson opened the scoring with a two-run home run off Trevor Williams in the first inning, but that was all Atlanta's offense could muster Sunday. It was the slugger's first long ball since May 29, and he'd gone just 7-for-40 with 14 strikeouts across his previous 10 games. Olson started the season on fire but has cooled off significantly of late, so it's encouraging to see him back on the board with his first extra-base hit in June.

  • LaMonte Wade 1B | CHW

Giants' LaMonte Wade: Takes seat Sunday

Wade is not in the starting lineup Sunday versus the Cubs.

Wade will take a seat after he went 0-for-6 with two walks and a run scored while striking out once over the first two games of the series versus Chicago. Wilmer Flores will take over at first base and bat fifth as the Giants look to avoid the sweep Sunday.

  • Brewers' Jon Singleton: On bench versus lefty

Singleton is not in the starting lineup Sunday versus Oakland.

Singleton will head to the bench as the Brewers face off with southpaw JP Sears on Sunday. Singleton has gone 3-for-22 with a double, two RBI and three runs scored while drawing a walk and striking out six times since being promoted from Triple-A Nashville on June 3. Christian Yelich will slot in at designated hitter while Blake Perkins enters the lineup in left field and will bat eighth as Milwaukee looks to avoid the sweep.
