Walker went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a double in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Mariners.
Walker got things started with a solo blast off Logan Gilbert in the second inning to knot the game up at 1-1. He later doubled in the fourth but was left stranded. The 33-year-old slugger has notched at least a hit in five straight games while homering twice and racking up five RBI over that span. For the year, he's slashing .271/.383/.439 with five homers, 18 RBI, 21 runs and an 18:31 BB:K in 128 plate appearances.

Freeman went 1-for-3 with a solo home run during Sunday's 3-1 loss to Toronto.
Freeman homered for the second time all season -- and hit his first long ball since March 28 -- while extending his hit streak to eight games. He's logged at least one RBI in seven of those contests (11 total) with a .444 batting average.

Bauers went 3-for-5 with a three-run home run in Sunday's 15-5 loss to the Yankees.
Bauers look Marcus Stroman deep for a game-tying three-run shot in the bottom of the fifth inning, knotting the game up at 4-4. He also added a double and a single in the contest, securing his second straight multi-hit performance in a game he started. Bauers is now batting .214 with two home runs, 12 RBI, eight runs scored and a stolen base over 56 at-bats in 18 games this season.

Reds' Christian Encarnacion-Strand: Sits with hand injury
Encarnacion-Strand was held out of Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Rangers due to a left hand injury suffered in Saturday's 8-4 win, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports.
Encarnacion-Strand was struck on his left hand by a pitch Saturday. According to manager David Bell, X-rays showed Encarnacion-Strand didn't sustain a fracture, though imaging revealed evidence of a previous fracture that may be contributing to his soreness. Spencer Steer filled in at first base Sunday for Encarnacion-Strand, who could be out a "few days," per Bell.

Reds' Christian Encarnacion-Strand: Gets day off
Encarnacion-Strand is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rangers.
Encarnacion-Strand will head to the bench in what looks to be a routine maintenance day after he had started in each of the Reds' last eight games. Spencer Steer will get a day out of the outfield and fill in at first base for Encarnacion-Strand, who has seen his season-long batting average dip below the Mendoza Line (.196) while going 1-for-14 with five strikeouts over his last four starts.

Hoskins is out of the lineup for Sunday's game versus the Yankees.
Hoskins started the previous 15 games but will receive Sunday off after he posted a .799 OPS during that span. Gary Sanchez will bat fifth as Milwaukee's designated hitter in the series finale against New York.

Goldschmidt one-hopped a two-run double off the wall as part of a four-run first inning for the Cardinals. He added an infield single, a stolen base and another run scored. The former MVP also struck out three times Saturday and has fanned at an elevated 30.1 percent so far this season. The production on the whole has ticked up over the past week, however, with Goldschmidt going 9-for-27 (.333) with one home run and four RBI in that span.

Wade isn't in the Giants' lineup for Saturday's game against Pittsburgh, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.
With the Giants set to face lefty Martin Perez on Saturday, the lefty-hitting Wade will stay put in the dugout to begin the game. Wilmer Flores will start at first base instead and bat second.
