Alonso went 1-for-3 with a walk, a two-run home run and an additional run scored in Friday's 5-0 win over the Blue Jays.

Alonso did damage early, lifting a two-run blast off Kevin Gausman in the first inning to provide all the offense the Mets needed in this win. Alonso started the year 1-for-9 with three walks over the first three games, but he's logged six extra-base hits -- including three homers -- and 10 RBI over his last four contests. The first baseman should play pretty close to every day when healthy, as he got into all 162 games in 2024.

Freeman (ankle) was placed on the 10-day injured list Thursday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Freeman aggravated an ankle injury over the weekend and has not been in the lineup since Saturday. He'll now be unavailable for at least another week, with the move being retroactive to March 31. Enrique Hernandez has started at first base with Freeman sidelined and is likely to continue to be the playing time beneficiary.

Single-A Bradenton placed Blanco on the 60-day injured list with a leg injury, Jonathan Mayo of MLB Pipeline reports.

We didn't get any clarity beyond the fact it's a leg injury and Blanco won't return until June at the earliest. He's got as much raw power as any prospect in the minors but can be susceptible to breaking balls. The 6-foot-7 Blanco hit .305/.385/.505 with four home runs and a 28.4 percent strikeout rate in 30 games in the Florida Complex League last year.

Arraez went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, an additional run scored and a stolen base in Wednesday's 5-2 win over the Guardians.

After an uncharacteristic 0-for-16 start from the three-time batting champion, Arraez has begun to look like his regular self with hits in three consecutive games. Wednesday's contest also saw the 27-year-old belt his first home run of the season, though fantasy managers shouldn't expect many more long balls from him after he finished 2024 with just four homers.

Alonso went 3-for-4 with a home run, four RBI, two runs scored and a walk in Wednesday's 6-5 extra-inning win over Miami.

After doubling to plate a run in the first inning, Alonso blasted a three-run homer in the eighth inning to tie the game at 4-4. The star slugger is off to a fast start at the plate, slashing .286/.423/.667 with two long balls, two doubles and eight RBI over 21 at-bats. As long as he's hitting directly behind Francisco Lindor and Juan Soto, Alonso should see a great deal of RBI opportunities in 2025.

Wade went 1-for-1 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 6-3 win over the Astros.

Wade began the game on the bench against left-handed pitcher Framber Valdez, with Casey Schmitt receiving the starting nod at first base. However, Wade pinch hit for Schmitt in the eighth frame, giving the Giants a three-run lead with a 364-foot solo shot off right-hander Ryan Gusto. The homer marked Wade's first hit on the season, and he now has a .059/.056/.235 slash line with two RBI and five strikeouts across 19 plate appearances.

Encarnacion-Strand started at first base and went 0-for-3 in Wednesday's 1-0 loss to the Rangers.

Encarnacion-Strand returned to the lineup after missing one game due to a hand injury. After a pair of two-hit games to open the season, he's gone hitless in his subsequent nine at-bats.

Lowe went 1-for-4 with an RBI double and three strikeouts in Wednesday's 4-2 loss to the Blue Jays.

Lowe struck out in each of his first three plate appearances (twice looking), but he didn't leave Wednesday's game empty handed after driving a double to right field in the ninth inning to bring James Wood across home plate. Lowe has gone 7-for-23 with two home runs and six RBI in the first six games of the season, though he's struck out 13 times across 25 plate appearances.

Freeman (ankle) isn't in the lineup for Wednesday's game versus Atlanta, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.

Wednesday will mark the third straight game Freeman has missed since aggravating his right ankle injury while in the shower over the weekend. Enrique Hernandez will pick up another start at first base and bat eighth while Freeman continues to recover. The eight-time All-Star will get an extra day to rest up with the team day off Thursday, though his status for Friday's series opener in Philadelphia remains up in the air.

Toglia will start at first base and bat sixth in Wednesday's game against the Phillies.

The first baseman began the season as the Rockies' No. 5 hitter, but he's been bumped down a spot for the last two contests while Colorado has moved the hot-hitting Hunter Goodman up in the lineup. Toglia has gotten off to a slow start to the season, going 1-for-15 with eight strikeouts through the Rockies' first four games.
