Bobby Dalbec 1B | CHW
Red Sox's Bobby Dalbec: Cracks first home run
Dalbec went 1-for-2 with a solo home run, HBP and a walk in a 4-3 win over the Yankees on Sunday.
Dalbec took reliever Clarke Schmidt deep to right in the sixth inning to give Boston a 4-3 lead that would eventually be the final while also being hit by a pitch in the first and walking in the eighth. The 26-year-old has yet to deliver on his significant potential but should have every opportunity to do so this season in a fearsome Boston lineup.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. 1B | TOR
Blue Jays' Vladimir Guerrero: Smacks mammoth homer
Guerrero went 1-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run in Sunday's loss to the Rangers.
Guerrero got a cement mixer from Spencer Howard and did not miss. The ball traveled 467 feet, and as Sarah Langs notes on Twitter, the long ball was the Blue Jays' hardest-hit homer of the Statcast era at 117.9 mph. Guerrero has hit safely in all three games so far (.455 average) and is locked into the three hole in one of baseball's best lineups.

White Sox's Jose Abreu: Doubles, scores three runs
Abreu went 2-for-4 with a double, two RBI, three runs scored and a walk in Sunday's 10-1 victory over Detroit.

Andrew Vaughn 1B | MIL
White Sox's Andrew Vaughn: Drives in four runs
Vaughn went 2-for-4 with a homer, four RBI and a walk in Sunday's 10-1 win over the Tigers.
The White Sox already had a comfortable 6-1 lead before Vaughn launched a three-run shot off Elvin Rodriguez in the seventh inning. He later added an RBI single in the ninth. The 24-year-old slugger is 4-for-10 with two long balls and six RBI to start his second MLB campaign.

Ty France 1B | SD
Mariners' Ty France: Three more hits Saturday
France went 3-for-5 with a run-scoring single and an RBI double in a win over the Twins on Saturday.
France continued his season-opening hot streak at the plate with some clutch hitting, evening the score at 1-1 in the third with his two-bagger to deep left center. He struck again in the ninth with a tie-breaking single that plated Adam Frazier with what would prove to be the game-winning run. France heads into Sunday having gone 4-for-7 with two walks over the first two games of the series.

Kole Calhoun 1B | CLE
Rangers' Kole Calhoun: Not starting vs. lefty
Calhoun is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against Toronto.
The 34-year-old started in right field Friday and Saturday but is on the bench for the series finale with southpaw Hyun Jin Ryu pitching for the Blue Jays. Calhoun had a .334 OPS in 43 plate appearances versus left-handed pitching in 2021 and is unlikely to have many of those opportunities again this year. Eli White will enter the lineup in center field for Calhoun, pushing Adolis Garcia to right.

Jose Abreu 1B | HOU
White Sox's Jose Abreu: Scores twice Saturday
Abreu went 2-for-4 with a double and two runs scored Saturday in the White Sox's 5-2 win over the Tigers.
Abreu's two hits tied Luis Robert and Josh Harrison for the team lead, as the White Sox exacted revenge on the Tigers on Saturday after dropping Friday's series opener. The veteran first baseman is once again locked in as the centerpiece of a loaded White Sox lineup that should take off as the weather begins to warm in the Midwest. Abreu will start again in Sunday's series finale, manning first base and batting third, according to Scott Merkin of MLB.com.

Nate Lowe DH | CIN
Rangers' Nathaniel Lowe: Sitting versus southpaw
Lowe is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Blue Jays.
Lowe is 4-for-9 with three RBI through the first two games of the season but is one of four Texas left-handed hitters taking a seat in the series finale with southpaw Hyun Jin Ryu pitching for Toronto. Andy Ibanez will move to first base Sunday while Charlie Culberson mans the hot corner.

Anthony Rizzo 1B | NYY
Yankees' Anthony Rizzo: Goes deep again Saturday
Rizzo went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Saturday's 4-2 victory against Boston.
For the second straight game, Rizzo kickstarted the Yankees' offense with a long ball, as he drove a two-run homer to right field in the fourth inning Saturday to tie the score 2-2. The veteran first baseman has gone 2-for-7 with four RBI through his first two games.

Ryan Mountcastle 1B | BAL
Orioles' Ryan Mountcastle: Smashes first homer of 2022
Mountcastle went 2-for-4 with a home run, two RBI and a run in Saturday's loss to the Rays.
Mountcastle opened the scoring for his team in the third inning, crushing a first-pitch slider from Drew Rasmussen over the fence for his first homer of the year, driving in his teammate Jorge Mateo in the process. He later added a single in the eighth inning to produce his first multi-hit contest of the campaign. Although the Orioles are unlikely to challenge for a playoff spot this season, Mountcastle is coming off of strong 2021 campaign in which he batted .255 with 33 homers and 89 RBI and he'll look to replicate his success in 2022.
