  • Thomas Harper SAF | DET

Lions' Thomas Harper: Won't play in Week 3

Harper (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Jets, Tim Twentyman of the Lions' official site reports.

Harper was held out of practice all week due to an ankle injury, which he likely picked up during the Lions' 41-31 loss to the Bills in Week 2. The Lions' secondary is thin, especially with Avonte Maddox (foot, IR) out for the rest of the 2026 season, meaning that Detroit will have to turn to options like Bishop Fitzgerald, Christian Izien and even Roger McCreary to start at safety next to Chuck Clark. Harper will aim to recover enough to return for Week 4 against the Panthers on Sunday, Oct. 4.

  • Bears' Tyrique Stevenson: Returns to practice Friday

Stevenson (hamstring) was a limited participant in Friday's practice.

Stevenson has opened the week with a DNP-LP practice log while tending to a hamstring injury. He would likely avoid an injury designation for Monday's game against the Eagles if he practiced fully Saturday. Stevenson has 14 tackles (nine solo) and one pass defense through two regular-season games.

  • Jamel Dean CB | PIT

Steelers' Jamel Dean: Uncertain to play in Week 3

Dean (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Bengals, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports.

Dean didn't practice Wednesday, but despite his limited participation Thursday and Friday, he will carry an injury designation heading into the AFC North clash with the Bengals. Joey Porter (undisclosed), who is also questionable, might return in Week 3, so his presence would help fill the void if Dean isn't available. Asante Samuel would also continue to receive more playing time.

  • Chris Moore WR | BAL

Ravens' Chris Moore: Good to go for Brazil

Moore (ankle) does not carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Cowboys.

Moore was limited in each of the first two practices of Week 3 prep due to an ankle injury, but he avoided an injury tag for Sunday's game in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, after practicing in full Friday. The veteran wideout has two catches (on five targets) for 59 yards through two regular-season games, though his offensive snap count would take a hit if Zay Flowers (hamstring) was cleared to play against Dallas.

  • Tank Bigsby RB | PHI

Eagles' Tank Bigsby: Logs limited practice Friday

Bigsby (abdomen) was limited at practice Friday.

After Saquon Barkley suffered a stinger this past Sunday at Tennessee, the initial question surrounded who between Bigsby and fellow RB Will Shipley (foot) was slated for more work in the short term. However, Barkley already has progressed to full participation as of Friday, while Bigsby and Shipley followed up absences Thursday with some on-field work one day later. As a result, whoever is the healthiest of the two likely will be the best bet to earn complementary reps out of the Eagles backfield Monday in Chicago.

  • Grant Delpit SAF | CLE

Browns' Grant Delpit: Questionable for Week 3 vs. Carolina

Delpit (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Panthers, Zac Jackson of The Athletic reports.

Delpit was a limited participant in all three practices this past week while tending to a shoulder issue. If he's unable to play against Carolina, then rookie second-rounder Emmanuel McNeil-Warren would be the top candidate to start at safety alongside Ronnie Hickman. Delpit has eight tackles (six solo), including 1.0 sacks, and one pass defense through two regular-season games.

  • Steelers' Joey Porter: Questionable to play Sunday

Porter (undisclosed) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Bengals, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports.

Adam Schefter of ESPN reported Sunday that the Steelers were expecting Porter to make his 2026 debut in Week 3, though he is still officially listed as questionable. The 26-year-old, who has also recently expressed his displeasure regarding his contract situation, may not see a full workload even if he's cleared to suit up. If that's the case, Asante Samuel could continue to be more involved, especially if Jamel Dean (ankle), who is also questionable, can't get on the field versus Cincinnati.

  • Tyson Campbell CB | CLE

Browns' Tyson Campbell: Tagged as questionable for Week 3

Campbell (ankle/hip/knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Panthers, Zac Jackson of The Athletic reports.

Campbell was limited in practice all week due to multiple lower-body issues, and his status for Sunday's game may not be officially known until the Browns announce their list of inactive players about 90 minutes before the 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff. Toriano Pride and Mekhi Blackmon would be the top candidates to start at outside corner opposite Denzel Ward if Campbell is not cleared to play against Carolina.

  • Dallas Goedert TE | PHI

Eagles' Dallas Goedert: No practice again Friday

    Goedert (knee) didn't practice Friday.

Goedert has yet to log any on-field work since emerging from a Week 2 win in Tennessee with an apparent MCL sprain, which typically requires multiple weeks to recover from. The Eagles haven't officially ruled him out for Monday's game at Chicago, but Saturday's injury report should provide clarity on his status for at least Week 3. In Goedert's likely absence, Johnny Mundt, E.J. Jenkins and practice-squad member Zach Ertz will be the candidates to fill in at tight end.

  • Jake Hummel LB | HOU

Texans' Jake Hummel: Will miss another week

Hummel (groin) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Colts, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports.

Hummel will be sidelined by a groin injury for a second consecutive week. He did not practice during Week 3 prep, so he'll look to return to practice in at least a limited capacity ahead of the Texans' Week 4 home tilt against the Cowboys on Sunday, Oct. 4. Jake Hansen should start alongside Azeez Al-Shaair and Aiden Fisher at linebacker for a second-straight game in Hummel's absence.
