  • Jacob Cowing WR | SF

49ers' Jacob Cowing: Missing Week 12

Cowing (concussion) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Packers, Cam Inman of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

Cowing sustained a concussion in the 49ers' Week 11 loss to the Seahawks and was unable to practice both Thursday and Friday, so it's no surprise that he won't suit up Sunday. The rookie wideout from Arizona has seen minimal offensive work through nine appearances this season, catching two of his three targets for 50 yards. Expect Ronnie Bell to serve as San Francisco's top punt returner with Cowing sidelined in Week 12.

  • Britain Covey WR | PHI

Eagles' Britain Covey: Could return in Week 12

Covey (shoulder) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Rams.

Covey has missed the Eagles' last seven games due to a shoulder injury sustained the Week 3 win over the Saints. The Utah product practiced in full all week and appears to be trending toward playing in Sunday's contest, but he must still be activated to Philadelphia's active roster in order to suit up. If Covey can play in Week 12, he'll likely assume the Eagles' top punt-returner duties and serve as a depth piece in their wide receiver room.

  • Ladd McConkey WR | LAC

Chargers' Ladd McConkey: Logs limited practice Friday

McConkey (shoulder) was limited at practice Friday.

McConkey was deemed a non-participant on Thursday's practice estimate, but the wideout's ability to work in Friday's session, albeit with a cap on his reps, bodes well for his chances of being available Monday night against the Ravens. In any case, Saturday's final injury report will relay whether McConkey approaches Week 12 action with an injury designation or fully cleared to face Baltimore.

  • Brandin Cooks WR | BUF

Cowboys' Brandin Cooks: May return Sunday

Cooks (knee), who remains on injured reserve, is listed as questionable for Sunday's contest at Washington, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.

Cooks required an IR stint, starting Week 5, due to an infection that developed in his right knee following a surgical procedure. Since he was designated to return from injured reserve Tuesday, he sandwiched a pair of limited walkthroughs around Thursday's capped practice. The Cowboys will need to activate Cooks by 4:00 p.m. ET on Saturday in order for him to have a chance to play Sunday. If that comes to pass, he could be eased into the mix behind top WR CeeDee Lamb (back/foot), who followed an LP/DNP/FP practice regimen this week and doesn't have a game designation.

  • Ladd McConkey WR | LAC

Chargers' Ladd McConkey: Spotted at Friday's practice

McConkey (shoulder) is participating in practice Friday, Kris Rhim of ESPN.com reports.

McConkey missed practice Thursday due to a shoulder injury. He sustained the injury in the first half of Sunday night's win over the Bengals but returned to the game after a brief trip to the locker room and proceeded to finish with 123 receiving yards. The extent of McConkey's participation level will be clarified later Friday, but he's trending in the right direction ahead of Monday's juicy matchup against a Ravens secondary that has allowed the most receiving yards (2,084) to wide receivers and is tied for the most receiving touchdowns (16) given up to the position.

  • Seahawks' Laviska Shenault: Questionable for Week 12

Shenault (back) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Cardinals, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.

Shenault has played a total of 43 offensive snaps this season. He's caught all five of his targets for 36 yards and rushed one time for one yard. Shenault mainly plays on special teams for Seattle.

  • CeeDee Lamb WR | DAL

Cowboys' CeeDee Lamb: Cleared to play

Lamb (back/foot) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game at Washington, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.

Dallas beat writers downplayed Lamb's absence from practice Thursday and apparently had the right of it. He returned Friday as a full participant and should be ready for his usual workload this Sunday at Washington, catching passes from QB Cooper Rush against a pass defense that's been surprisingly strong since the first few weeks of the season.

  • DeVonta Smith WR | PHI

Eagles' DeVonta Smith: Ruled out for Sunday night

Smith (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game at the Rams.

Smith took 89 percent of snaps on offense in a 26-18 win over Washington this past Sunday, but he didn't practice at all this week and now is confirmed to be missing at least one game. His absence could push even more targets to WR A.J. Brown, TE Dallas Goedert and RB Saquon Barkley, as the leading candidates to take Smith's WR snaps (Jahan Dotson and Johnny Wilson) both have been targeted on less than 11 percent of their routes this year. Smith's next chance to play will come seven days later, Sunday, Dec. 1 at Baltimore in a battle between Mid-Atlantic heavyweights.

  • Calvin Ridley WR | TEN

Titans' Calvin Ridley: No injury designation for Week 12

Ridley (illness) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Texans, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

Ridley missed practice Wednesday due to an illness, but he isn't expected to face any restrictions Sunday after returning to full practice participation Thursday and Friday. He has excelled since the Titans traded away DeAndre Hopkins, with 358 receiving yards and two touchdowns in four subsequent games.

  • Mike Evans WR | SF

Buccaneers' Mike Evans: Questionable for Week 12

Evans (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game at the Giants, Jenna Laine of ESPN.com reports.

Evans missed the three contests before the Buccaneers' Week 11 bye due to the right hamstring strain that he aggravated during a Week 7 loss to the Ravens. Coming out of the midseason respite, he sandwiched a pair of limited practices around Thursday's full session, but there remains a question mark about his potential to return this weekend. Coach Todd Bowles told Laine earlier Friday that Evans will play Sunday "as long as he's healthy and fresh," something that'll be confirmed, one way or another, approximately 90 minutes before a 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff.
