The Texans signed Sobkowicz to their practice squad Monday.

An undrafted rookie wideout out of Illinois State, Sobkowicz faced long odds to make the Texans' Week 1 roster, but he at least showed enough during training camp and the preseason to stick around through final roster cutdowns. After going unclaimed on waivers, Sobkowicz has elected to stick around in the Texans' organization as one of four receivers on the practice squad.

The rookie sixth-round pick out of Boston College was unable to secure a spot on the Texans' 53-man roster coming out of training camp, but after clearing waivers, he'll end up sticking around in the organization. The Texans have also added fellow receivers Mitchell Tinsley, Josh Kelly and Daniel Sobkowicz on the practice squad, so Bond may not necessarily rank as the top choice to get elevated to the roster if Houston requires another wideout in any given week.

Tinsley signed with Houston's practice squad Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

The fourth-year wideout played in all 17 games for the Bengals in 2025, stringing together an 8-116-2 line on 24 targets while handling a depth role in the receiving corps. Tinsley was unable to win a spot on the Bengals' roster coming out of training camp, but he could have a clearer path to seeing playing time in Houston at some point in 2026 with Jayden Higgins (knee) out for the season and Tank Dell (knee) set to miss at least the team's first four games.

Flowers, who is recovering from a lower-body injury, is expected to return to full practice next week and be available for the Ravens' Sept. 13 season opener versus the Colts, Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports reports.

Flowers sustained a left quadriceps bruise in an Aug. 8 practice, but he returned to the field a few days later. The wideout missed some practices last week as well, though the Ravens haven't indicated whether that was related to the prior quad issue. Whatever the case, Flowers' injury or injuries never seemed to be a major concern. He should be ready to handle a high-volume role in the Baltimore passing attack in Week 1.

Wallace inked a contract to join Arizona's practice squad Monday, Zach Gershman of the team's official website reports.

Wallace joined the Cardinals as an undrafted free agent in April and played in all four of the team's preseason contests, catching five of six targets for 54 yards. He was waived Sunday, but Arizona decided to bring him back aboard as wideout depth on the practice squad.

Wells signed with the Falcons' practice squad Monday, Will McFadden of the team's official site reports.

The wide receiver was waived by Atlanta on Sunday. Wells initially signed with the team in June after spending last summer with the Giants and two weeks on New York's practice squad during the 2025 regular season.

Smith-Marsette signed a contract to join Arizona's practice squad Monday, Zach Gershman of the team's official website reports.

Smith-Marsette spent training camp with the Cardinals before being released Sunday. However, he's quickly returned to the organization as a member of the practice squad. Smith-Marsette provides veteran wideout depth, as he's logged 48 career NFL regular-season games, including one start. However, he hasn't suited up in a contest since 2024, when he worked almost exclusively as a kick and punt returner for the Giants.

The Falcons signed Anthony to the practice squad Monday, Will McFadden of the team's official site reports.

The undrafted free agent out of Wisconsin had a strong training camp but ultimately fell short of making the Falcons' initial 53-man roster. The wide receiver cleared waivers and will now provide depth on the practice squad.

Drummond signed with the Falcons' practice squad Monday, Will McFadden of the team's official site reports.

The wide receiver was waived by Atlanta on Sunday. Drummond played on 121 offensive snaps for the Falcons in 2025, making seven catches for 42 yards. He also played on 39 special-teams snaps.

New Orleans waived Austin on Monday.

Austin suited up for exactly eight games in each of the past two seasons and compiled 24 catches for 291 yards and one touchdown over that span. He initially made the Saints' 53-man roster but was then cut Monday to make room for players awarded to the team on waivers. Austin is a prime candidate to serve on New Orleans' practice squad if he clears waivers.
