Hunter Renfrow WR | CAR
Panthers' Hunter Renfrow: Tweaks hamstring
Renfrow (hamstring) didn't practice Wednesday, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.
Per Gantt and Mike Kaye of The Charlotte Observer, Renfrow's hamstring issue isn't anything long-term, with the veteran wideout having told coach Dave Canales that he'd be able to play this week if there was a game. When healthy, Renfrow -- who last saw regular-season action in 2023 -- will look to secure a slot role in a Panthers WR corps that also includes Tetairoa McMillan, Adam Thielen, Xavier Legette and Jalen Coker.

Marquise Brown WR | PHI
Chiefs' Hollywood Brown: Misses Wednesday's practice
Brown (ankle) didn't practice Wednesday, Matt McMullen of the Chiefs' official site reports.
Brown and Xavier Worthy (concussion) were among a handful players who left Tuesday's practice early, but McMullen indicated afterward that most (if not all) of their injuries don't appear to be long-term concerns. For now, Brown's status can continue to be viewed as day-to-day.

Xavier Worthy WR | KC
Chiefs' Xavier Worthy: In concussion protocol
Worthy, who is in the NFL's concussion protocol, didn't practice Wednesday, Matt McMullen of the Chiefs' official site reports.
Worthy banged his head during Tuesday's session and now will need to advance through concussion protocol before he rejoins practice. Also sidelined Wednesday were fellow wideouts Hollywood Brown (ankle) and Skyy Moore (hamstring).

Russell Gage WR | SF
49ers' Russell Gage: Healthy start to camp
Gage made an athletic grab during Tuesday's padded practice session, Matt Barrows of The Athletic reports.
Gage suffered a torn patellar tendon during training camp in 2023 that cost him the last two years of action. The veteran wideout admitted that his career felt in jeopardy before he latched on with the 49ers' practice squad late last season and rediscovered his burst. The 29-year-old had been a reliable depth option during his time with Atlanta and Tampa Bay, and there could be snaps available in San Francisco with Brandon Aiyuk (knee) and Jauan Jennings (calf) both with question marks hanging over them.

Dalen Cambre WR | NYG
Giants' Dalen Cambre: Making some waves in camp
Cambre has gotten some first-ream reps during practice in training camp, and his experience on special teams increases his odds of making the Giants' initial roster, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.
Cambre went undrafted, signing with New York as a free agent in late April. Nonetheless, the Louisiana product has intrigued enough to get some first-team reps Sunday, though it bears mentioning that fellow wideouts Jalin Hyatt and Wan'Dale Robinson (leg) were both held out with minor issues. New York also lost Bryce Ford-Wheaton for the season when he tore his Achilles on Sunday, opening the door toward a roster spot a little wider for Cambre, who (like Ford-Wheaton) is capable of working as a special-teams ace. Cambre remains a long shot to make the club, but he's at least inserted his name into the conversation for one of the final roster spots as a depth wideout and return man.

Darnell Mooney WR | NYG
Falcons' Darnell Mooney: Status for Week 1 uncertain
Speaking Tuesday, coach Raheem Morris was non-committal on whether or not Mooney (shoulder) will be ready for the Falcons' Week 1 matchup with the Bucs, Marc Raimondi of ESPN.com reports.
Mooney suffered a shoulder injury in practice last Thursday and is expected to be sidelined for a "few weeks," Raimondi reported last week. The nature of Mooney's injury still isn't clear, but there's at least some concern it will linger into the regular season. KhaDarel Hodge is next up on the depth chart behind Drake London and slot man Ray-Ray McCloud should Mooney not be cleared in time to face Tampa Bay.

Demario Douglas WR | NE
Patriots' DeMario Douglas: Displaying consistency in camp
Douglas has been the Patriots' most consistent receiver in training camp thus far, according to Paul Perillo of the team's official site.
The third-year wideout logged 66 catches on 87 targets for 621 yards and three TDs in 17 regular-season games in 2024 and has been showing improvement as a route runner in camp. With Josh McDaniels having been brought back as the Patriots offensive coordinator ahead of the 2025 campaign, Douglas has an opportunity to make his mark in PPR formats, while working in an offensive system that tends to feature its top slot receiver. In addition to Douglas' strong showing, projected No. 1 wideout Stefon Diggs continues to look sharp as he bounces back from a knee injury, giving second-year quarterback Drake Maye a solid platform from which to grow as a passer.

Danny Gray WR | PHI
Danny Gray: Let go by Philadelphia
The Eagles waived Gray (finger) with an injury designation Tuesday, Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
Gray injured his finger during Saturday's training camp practice. If he's not claimed off waivers by another team, then Gray would revert to the Eagles' injured reserve, which would cause him to miss the entire 2025 season unless an injury settlement is reached. The 2022 third-round pick last saw regular-season action during his rookie season with the 49ers, when he played in 13 regular-season games and caught one pass (on seven targets) for 10 yards while adding nine rushing yards on one carry.
-
Kelvin Harmon WR | DAL
Kelvin Harmon: Let go by Dallas
The Cowboys waived Harmon on Tuesday, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports.
Harmon was aiming to make the Cowboys' 53-man roster after spending the entire 2024 season on Dallas' practice squad, but the 2019 sixth-rounder will be on the lookout for new opportunities, assuming he clears waivers. He hasn't seen NFL regular-season action since his rookie year with the Commanders, when he posted 30 catches on 44 targets for 365 yards in 16 games, but he did record a 31-375-3 line across seven games with the UFL's DC Defenders during the league's 2024 spring season.
-
Skyy Moore WR | GB
Chiefs' Skyy Moore: Dealing with hamstring injury
Moore left Tuesday's training camp practice due to a hamstring injury, Matt McMullen of the Chiefs' official site reports.
Moore may have been pulled as a precautionary measure, but it does put his availability over the next few days in question. The 2022 second-rounder needs all the reps he can get, as he is competing for a depth spot on the Chiefs' 53-man roster after being limited to just six regular-season games in 2024 due to an abdominal injury. The absences of Moore, Xavier Worthy (head) and Hollywood Brown (ankle) will give Nikko Remigio, Tyquan Thornton and Jason Brownlee the opportunity to get more reps on offense during team drills.
