Kobe Hudson WR | CAR
Kobe Hudson: Let go by Carolina
Hudson was waived by the Panthers on Monday, Darin Gantt of the team's official website reports.
Hudson signed with the Panthers as an undrafted free agent in April, recording three catches for 19 yards while appearing in two preseason games with the team. The wide receiver will now look for his next opportunity, which certainly could come as a member of Carolina's practice squad.

Elijah Cooks WR | NO
Elijah Cooks: Fails to make 53-man roster
The Eagles waived Cooks on Monday, Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Cooks signed a futures deal with the Eagles in February after spending most of the 2024 season on the Jaguars' practice squad. He missed the Eagles' second preseason game against the Browns on Aug. 16 due to a shoulder injury, but he returned for the preseason finale against the Jets on Friday, finishing with two catches (on six targets) for 14 yards. Cooks will likely clear waivers, at which point he'll have the chance to sign with a team in need of a wide receiver; however, he could remain in Philadelphia as a member of the practice squad.

Terrace Marshall Jr. WR | MIA
Terrace Marshall: Cut by Philadelphia
The Eagles released Marshall on Monday, Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Marshall was limited by a knee injury during training camp, but he managed to play in the final two preseason games and finished with seven catches (on 11 targets) for 66 yards. The 2021 second-rounder had his moments during practices and preseason games, but it wasn't enough for him to crack the Eagles' 53-man roster. Marshall will explore his next options and aim to catch on with a team in need of depth at wide receiver.

Rashod Owens WR | CIN
Rashod Owens: Doesn't make 53-man roster
The Bengals waived Owens on Monday, Ben Baby of ESPN.com reports.
Owens played in all three of the Bengals' preseason games, finishing with three catches (on five targets) for 25 yards. The undrafted rookie won't be a part of Cincinnati's 53-man roster, but if he clears waivers, he could remain with the team as a member of the practice squad.

Kawaan Baker WR | GB
Kawaan Baker: Cut by Green Bay
Baker was waived by the Packers on Monday, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
Baker will once again be placed on waivers after the Packers claimed him Aug. 12 following his departure from Las Vegas. The wide receiver failed to record any stats while playing 16 offensive snaps in the Packers' 20-7 preseason win over the Seahawks on Saturday. Baker will now look for another opportunity elsewhere, though he could stick around Green Bay as a member of the practice squad.

Cole Burgess WR | PIT
Cole Burgess: Cut by Cincinnati
The Bengals waived Burgess on Monday, Ben Baby of ESPN.com reports.
Burgess played in all three preseason games and finished with two catches (on five targets) for 24 yards. He won't be part of the Bengals' 53-man roster, but he was part of the team's practice squad last year and could reprise that role in 2025.
-
Braylon Sanders WR | WAS
Braylon Sanders: Let go by Washington
The Commanders waived Sanders on Monday.
Sanders joined the Commanders in early August, and he finished the preseason with two catches on as many targets for 19 yards. He won't be a part of the team's 53-man roster for the start of the regular season, but Sanders could remain in Washington as part of the practice squad.

Dayton Wade WR | BAL
Ravens' Dayton Wade: Undergoing rib surgery
Head coach John Harbaugh said Monday that Wade will be "out for a while" due to a rib injury that he suffered during Saturday's preseason game against the Commanders, Clifton Brown of the Ravens' official site reports.
Wade suffered the injury on the first play of the second quarter, when he took a hit from Antonio Hamilton while hauling in a 15-yard pass. Wade spent the entire 2024 season on the Ravens' practice squad, but his injury makes it likely that he'll be part of the team's roster cuts Tuesday.
-
Xavier Guillory WR | BAL
Ravens' Xavier Guillory: Set for extended absence
Guillory broke his clavicle during the Ravens' preseason finale against the Commanders on Saturday, and head coach John Harbaugh relayed Monday that the undrafted rookie will be "out for a while," Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.
Guillory suffered the injury during the third quarter of Saturday's game, finishing the contest with three catches (on five targets) for 17 yards. He was a long shot to make the Ravens' 53-man roster, but he could be a member of the team's practice squad once he is fully recovered from the injury.

Efton Chism III WR | NE
Patriots' Efton Chism: Doesn't practice Monday
Chism (foot/ankle) did not participate in Monday's practice, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site reports.
Chism continues to work through foot and ankle injuries that he picked up during the Patriots' second preseason game against the Vikings. The undrafted rookie has impressed the Patriots' coaching staff during training camp and has a solid chance of making the 53-man roster for the start of the regular season. If he does make the cut, Chism's practice participation over the next two weeks will indicate his availability for the Patriots' Week 1 contest against the Raiders on Sunday, Sept. 7.
