Top Jalen Nailor News

  • Raiders' Jalen Nailor: Three catches in Las Vegas debut

Nailor caught three passes (on five targets) for 27 yards during the Raiders' 27-13 win over the Dolphins on Sunday.

Nailor ended up leading all Raiders wide receivers in targets, though he finished third in that category behind Michael Mayer (seven) and running back Ashton Jeanty (six). Even with Brock Bowers (knee) sidelined, it looks like Nailor will operate in a complementary role in the Raiders offense, especially in games where Jeanty gets it going as he did against Miami. Nailor will look for better results Week 2 on the road against the Chargers.

  • Raiders' Jalen Nailor: Two catches in preseason loss

Nailor brought in two of four targets for 13 yards in the Raiders' 18-12 preseason loss to the 49ers on Thursday.

Nailor led the Raiders in targets and finished tied for second in receptions. The fifth-year pro made his first catch on a pass from Kirk Cousins for a seven-yard gain during the opening possession, and he recorded his second and final one with Fernando Mendoza under center to open Las Vegas' third drive. Nailor was then also the intended target deep down the middle on the next play, a pass that resulted in an interception. Nailor is projected to open the regular season as the No. 2 receiver and posted a 3-35-0 line on seven targets in two preseason games.

  • Raiders' Jalen Nailor: Draws three targets from Mendoza

Nailor caught one of three targets for 22 yards in Thursday's 22-20 preseason win over the Texans.

Nailor was the target on Fernando Mendoza's first two passes, the second of which produced their 22-yard connection. Mendoza looked elsewhere with his third pass of the game, which resulted in a pick-six, and the rookie quarterback went back in the veteran receiver's direction with the first pass of Vegas' second possession. Nailor signed a three-year, $35 million contract with the Raiders in the offseason, and the former Vikings wideout appears poised to open the season as a starter in a wide receiver room without an established pecking order.

  • Raiders' Jalen Nailor: Minimal snaps in preseason opener

Nailor played eight snaps on offense during Thursday's 27-14 preseason loss to the Cardinals. He did not show up in the box score otherwise.

Both Nailor and Tre Tucker, the Raiders' top wideouts on the depth chart, saw minimal work in the first quarter before observing the rest of the game from the sidelines. Nailor inked a three-year, $35 million contract with Las Vegas after playing for Minnesota during the first four years of his NFL career. He's played 17 regular-season games in each of the last two years and finished the 2025 campaign with 29 catches (on 53 targets) for 444 yards and four touchdowns. Nailor will have the opportunity to operate in an expanded role in the Raiders passing attack alongside Tucker and talented tight end Brock Bowers.

  • Raiders' Jalen Nailor: Starring at training camp

Nailor has been the best receiver at Raiders training camp, Case Keefer of the Las Vegas Sun reports.

Behind Brock Bowers, Nailor has been the team's most productive pass catcher in team drills. "I feel like I'm a total complete receiver," Nailor said. "I can do things on the outside, do things on the inside, run game, pass game. I feel like I can do it all." Nailor signed a three-year, $35.03 million deal with Las Vegas in the offseason and is expected to occupy the No. 1 receiver role. He's already shown a strong connection with former Vikings teammate Kirk Cousins with the first-team offense this summer. It appears Nailor and Tre Tucker are the clear top two wideouts for the Raiders headed into the 2026 season.
