Charlie Jones WR | CIN
Bengals' Charlie Jones: Ends team return TD drought
Jones returned a punt for an 81-yard touchdown in the Bengals' 27-24 loss to the Ravens on Sunday.
The rookie fourth-round pick out of Purdue has yet to line up at receiver through his first two NFL games, but he became the first Bengals player to score a touchdown in 2023 when he went untouched on a punt return to tie the game early in the second quarter. Jones' 81-yard score represented the first punt returned for a touchdown by a Bengals player since the 2012 season. Jones should continue to maintain a key role as a return man throughout his rookie season, but his opportunities on offense will likely be few and far between while all of Ja'Marr Chase, Tee Higgins and Tyler Boyd are healthy.

Andrei Iosivas WR | CIN
Bengals' Andrei Iosivas: Yet to carve out role
Iosivas went untargeted on his two snaps on offense in Sunday's 27-24 loss to the Ravens.
Through his first two NFL games, the rookie sixth-round pick out of Princeton has logged just three snaps on offense compared to 40 on special teams. While the starting wideout trio of Ja'Marr Chase, Tee Higgins and Tyler Boyd are all healthy, Iosivas likely won't be in store for many opportunities on offense during his inaugural NFL campaign.

Britain Covey WR | PHI
Eagles' Britain Covey: Joins 53-man roster
The Eagles signed Covey off their practice squad Wednesday.
Covey was elevated from the practice squad for both of the team's first two games of the season, but he'll now get a more permanent spot on the 53-man roster. The second-year player out of Utah should operate as a depth option at receiver and continue to work as the Eagles' top punt returner.

Kadarius Toney WR | CLE
Chiefs' Kadarius Toney: Misses practice Wednesday
Toney isn't practicing Wednesday due to a sprained toe, Adam Schefter of ESPN.com reports.
Toney will still have two chances to return to practice this week before the Chiefs decide whether to give him a designation ahead of Sunday's game against the Bears. After struggling with drops in the season-opening loss to the Lions, Toney caught all five of his targets from Patrick Mahomes in the Chiefs' Week 2 win over the Jaguars.

Amon-Ra St. Brown WR | DET
Lions' Amon-Ra St. Brown: Day-to-day, not practicing Wednesday
Head coach Dan Campbell said Wednesday that St. Brown is dealing with a toe injury and is considered day-to-day, but the receiver won't participate in practice as the Lions begin Week 3 prep, Eric Woodyard of ESPN.com reports.
St. Brown departed Sunday's overtime loss to the Seahawks in the fourth quarter due to what was initially reported as cramping. The star wideout's next chance to get on the practice field will come Thursday. If St. Brown ends up sitting out during this Sunday's matchup with the Falcons, quarterback Jared Goff will be left with a receiver room consisting of Josh Reynolds, Marvin Jones, Kalif Raymond and Antoine Green. St. Brown's potential absence would set the stage for rookies Jahmyr Gibbs and Sam LaPorta to get more involved in the short-area passing game.

Rakim Jarrett WR | PIT
Buccaneers' Rakim Jarrett: Nabs first NFL reception
Jarrett hauled in his lone target for a seven-yard reception in Sunday's 27-17 win over the Bears.
The undrafted rookie out of Maryland remains buried on the Buccaneers' depth chart at receiver, but he at least saw a slight uptick in playing time from Week 1 to Week 2. After logging six snaps on offense in the season-opening win over the Vikings, Jarrett bumped up to 16 snaps Sunday.
-
Kearis Jackson WR | HOU
Titans' Kearis Jackson: No role on offense
Jackson played 11 snaps on special teams in Sunday's 27-24 overtime win over the Chargers and brought back two punts for 11 yards.
The undrafted rookie out of Georgia earned a spot on the Titans' 53-man roster out of the preseason after securing a job as the team's top kickoff and punt returner, but he doesn't look as though he'll be featured at receiver anytime soon. Jackson has yet to log a snap on offense through two weeks.

Demarcus Robinson WR | SF
Rams' Demarcus Robinson: Non-factor in passing game
Robinson went without a target on his six snaps on offense in Sunday's 30-23 loss to the 49ers.
Cooper Kupp's (hamstring) placement on injured reserve to begin the season hasn't opened up any extra work for Robinson, who boasts the most NFL experience of any of the five receivers currently on the active roster. Robinson has played just nine total snaps through two games while the Rams have relied on fifth-round rookie Puka Nacua and third-year man Tutu Atwell to pick up most of the slack in the passing game while Kupp is on the mend.

Mitchell Tinsley WR | CIN
Commanders' Mitchell Tinsley: Makes NFL debut
Tinsley went without a target across three snaps on offense in Sunday's 35-33 win over the Broncos.
After not playing in the Week 1 win over the Cardinals, Tinsley made his NFL debut Sunday but still barely saw any reps. Among the Commanders' seven active receivers in Week 2, Tinsley finished sixth in offensive snaps, beating out only Jamison Crowder, who played exclusively on special teams.
-
Byron Pringle WR | WAS
Commanders' Byron Pringle: Records short reception
Pringle played 13 snaps on offense in Sunday's 35-33 win over Denver, reeling in his lone target for a four-yard gain.
After being limited exclusively to a special-teams role in the Commanders' Week 1 win over the Cardinals, Pringle was able to carve out a small depth role at receiver. He still ranked well behind Terry McLaurin, Jahan Dotson, Curtis Samuel and Dyami Brown and is unlikely to carve out a meaningful passing-game role unless the Commanders lose multiple receivers to injury.
