Lions' Amon-Ra St. Brown: Finds end zone twice in OT win
St. Brown caught 10 of 14 targets for 67 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 31-30 overtime win over the Saints.
The star wideout got the new season started with a bang, leading Detroit in catches, targets and receiving yards while connecting with Jared Goff for a 19-yard score in the third quarter and a four-yard strike in overtime. The latter proved to be the winning TD when New Orleans failed on a two-point attempt on its answering touchdown. St. Brown has scored double-digit TDs in three straight seasons, and he may be well on his way to doing so again. He'll look to make an impact again in Week 2 on the road against the Bills.

Lions' Amon-Ra St. Brown: Contract restructured by Detroit
The Lions and St. Brown agreed to a restructured contract Saturday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Per Spotrac, $26 million of St. Brown's salary was converted into a signing bonus, which alone created $20.8 million in cap space to give the Lions more flexibility for the next two seasons. St. Brown has been one of the most productive receivers since being selected by the Lions in the fourth round of the 2021 NFL Draft, having logged 100-plus catches and 1,000-plus receiving yards in each of the last four years. He finished the 2025 regular season with 117 catches (on a career-high 172 targets) for 1,401 yards and 11 touchdowns across 17 games. He'll once again lead a Lions pass-catching group that also includes Jameson Williams, Isaac TeSlaa and Sam LaPorta.

Lions' Amon-Ra St. Brown: Ends camp on high note
St. Brown was a standout performer during the Lions' final practice of training camp Thursday, recording several receptions during team drills, Nolan Bianchi of The Detroit News reports.
St. Brown was particularly impressive on the Lions' second-to-last series of the day, when he had gains of 14, seven and four yards on receptions before beating cornerback Rock Ya-Sin on a post route for a 16-yard score to end the drive. He nearly added another touchdown to his ledger on the final drive, as he corralled a jump ball over Ya-Sin in the end zone before he was ruled to have bobbled the ball prior to stepping out of bounds. The performance marked an impressive end to what Tim Twentyman of the Lions' official site labeled a "really strong camp" for St. Brown, who is once again ticketed for a high-volume role in the Detroit passing game and profiles as a strong first-round pick in fantasy drafts.
