  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: In line to play Sunday

Lockett (hamstring) is expected to play in Sunday's game against the Browns, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Lockett, who is officially listed as questionable, practiced in full Friday and looks on track to suit up Week 8. The veteran wideout's status will be made official when Seattle releases its inactive list roughly 90 minutes prior to Sunday's 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff. Meanwhile, the Seahawks already have DK Metcalf back on the field after he missed Week 7 win over Arizona with rib and hip injuries.

  • Robert Woods WR | PIT

Texans' Robert Woods: Expected to miss 2-to-3 weeks

Woods (foot), who is ruled out for Sunday's game against the Panthers, is expected to miss 2-to-3 weeks, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Woods is already ruled out for Week 8, and based on Schefter's report, he appears set to miss next Sunday's game against the Buccaneers as well, at a minimum. As long as Woods remains sidelined, expect Tank Dell and Noah Brown to handle regular top-three roles at receiver alongside top wideout Nico Collins.

  • Saints' Michael Thomas: Late addition to injury report

Thomas is questionable for Sunday's game against the Colts due to an illness.

Thomas was a late addition to the injury report after practicing in full throughout the week. His status will become official roughly 90 minutes prior to the Saints' 1 p.m. ET kickoff against the Colts. If Thomas is out, it should open additional targets for the likes of Rashid Shaheed and potentially Keith Kirkwood or even Taysom Hill (chest) -- who is questionable himself.

  • Giants' Gunner Olszewski: Catches onto active roster

The Giants signed Olszewski to their active roster Saturday, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.

Olszewski joined the Giants' practice squad Monday, just two days after being let go by the Steelers. Duggan reports that Olszewski is set to take over as the primary punt returner.

  • Willie Snead WR | MIA

49ers' Willie Snead: Promoted from practice squad

The 49ers elevated Snead to the active roster Saturday, Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

This will be the second time Snead has been elevated by the 49ers since joining their practice squad Sept. 1. He played 11 snaps -- seven on offense, four on special teams -- in Week 4 against the Cardinals and was able to haul in his lone target for nine yards. He'll add some depth at wide receiver, with Deebo Samuel (shoulder) set to miss his second straight game.

  • Broncos' Brandon Johnson: Heads to IR

The Broncos placed Johnson (hamstring) on injured reserve Saturday, Parker Gabriel of The Denver Post reports.

Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reported Friday that Johnson was considered a game-time call for Sunday's contest against the Chiefs after sustaining an injury during Thursday's practice, but his inability to practice Friday indicated that the injury was more severe than previously thought. Johnson will now have to sit out for the next four games and will be eligible to return against the Texans on Dec. 3.

  • Malik Taylor WR | DET

Jets' Malik Taylor: Moves up from practice squad

The Jets elevated Taylor to the active roster Saturday.

Taylor joined the Jets' practice squad Sept. 12 after being cut by the team ahead of the 53-man roster deadline at the end of training camp. He last played for the Packers in 2021 and was mostly utilized on special teams over 10 games that season. He could see some playing time Sunday against the Giants on special teams and potentially as a depth wide receiver, with Randall Cobb (shoulder) and Irvin Charles (shoulder) both dealing with injuries.

  • Tylan Wallace WR | CLE

Ravens' Tylan Wallace: Removed from IR

The Ravens activated Wallace (hamstring) from their injured reserve list Saturday, and he is questionable for Sunday's matchup against the Cardinals.

Wallace was placed on the Ravens' IR list on Sept. 25 after he sustained a hamstring injury in Week 3 against the Colts. If he's able to suit up for Sunday's contest, he'll likely assume a role on special teams, as he sits far down on the wide receiver depth chart.

  • Tre'Quan Smith WR | DET

Broncos' Tre'Quan Smith: Jumps up to active roster

Smith was elevated to the Broncos' active roster Saturday, Parker Gabriel of The Denver Post reports.

Smith is now officially reunited with his former New Orleans head coach, Sean Payton. The veteran could be in for some opportunities immediately, with three separate Broncos wideouts currently on injured reserve ahead of Sunday's matchup. With the NFL trade deadline looming and both Jerry Jeudy and Courtland Sutton being rumored in deal talks to this point, Smith could elevate into an even more substantial pass-catching option depending on what transpires in the next handful of days.

  • Cardinals' Andre Baccellia: Signed to Arizona roster

The Cardinals signed Baccellia off their practice squad Saturday, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.

Baccellia was cut by the Cardinals ahead of the 53-man roster deadline at the end of training camp, but he elected to join the team's practice squad Aug. 31. The undrafted wide receiver out of Washington made eight appearances for Arizona last season and caught seven of 10 passes for 45 yards.
