Terry McLaurin WR | WAS
Commanders' Terry McLaurin: Catches one pass from rookie QB
McLaurin caught his only target for three yards in Saturday's 20-17 preseason loss to the Jets.
McLaurin accounted for one of Jayden Daniels' two completions on the only drive that the rookie quarterback played. After topping 1,000 receiving yards in each of the previous four seasons, McLaurin projects to work as the top target for Daniels in 2024. The veteran wide receiver will look to keep building chemistry with the 2024 second overall pick in next Saturday's preseason game against the Dolphins.

Malachi Corley WR | CLE
Jets' Malachi Corley: Four catches in NFL debut
Corley caught four of five targets for 27 yards in Saturday's 20-17 preseason win over the Commanders. He also had a 33-yard kickoff return and one punt return for no gain.
Corley caught the only completion quarterback Tyrod Taylor had in his two drives to start the game, and the 2024 third-round pick stayed in for the remainder of the first half after Andrew Peasley checked in under center. The rookie wide receiver's route running needs refinement, but Corley's a handful to bring down with the ball in his hands, so the Jets tried to give him opportunities in space Saturday on both offense and special teams. Corley may not get a chance to work with starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers in a game situation during the preseason, as Taylor will most likely start again in next Saturday's preseason game against the Panthers.

Jerry Jeudy WR | CLE
Browns' Jerry Jeudy: Not slated to face Packers
Jeudy (leg) is not in line to see action in Saturday's preseason opener against the Packers.
Jeudy has been managing a leg issue, and with the Browns not slated to play several key skill players -- including fellow wide receivers Amari Cooper and Elijah Moore -- it's no surprise that Jeudy also won't be seeing snaps Saturday. Cedric Tillman, David Bell, Jamari Thrash, Jaelon Darden, Michael Woods, James Proche, Matt Landers and Ahmarean Brown are the team's available WRs versus Green Bay.

Amari Cooper WR | LV
Browns' Amari Cooper: Not on track to play Saturday
Cooper is among the key Browns' skill players not in line to see action in Saturday's preseason opener against the Packers.
The same goes for QB Deshaun Watson, RB D'Onta Foreman, fellow WRs Jerry Jeudy and Elijah Moore, as well as TE David Njoku. Cooper's next chance to see exhibition action will arrive Aug .17 against the Vikings.

Garrett Wilson WR | NYJ
Jets' Garrett Wilson: Likely not suiting up
Wilson is not expected to play in the team's preseason opener against the Commanders on Saturday.
The Jets are expected to hold out almost the entirety of their projected starters, so the star wide receiver likely not playing is hardly a surprise. Wilson's preseason ADP reflects optimism regarding New York's offense, especially now that multi-time MVP Aaron Rodgers is back healthy from a Week 1 torn Achilles.

John Metchie III WR | CAR
Texans' John Metchie: One drop, one catch Friday
Metchie caught one of two targets for four yards in Friday's 20-12 preseason win over the Steelers.
Metchie dropped the first pass thrown to him and didn't appear to respond in the way head coach DeMeco Ryans wanted to see following a quiet preseason opener last week in the Hall of Fame Game. The good news for Metchie is that neither of his main competitors -- Xavier Hutchinson nor Ben Skowronek -- shined as a receiver Friday night.

Xavier Hutchinson WR | HOU
Texans' Xavier Hutchinson: Gets first-half work
Hutchinson caught one of three targets for four yards, rushed once for 19 yards and returned a kickoff for 27 yards in Friday's 20-12 preseason win over Pittsburgh.
Hutchinson didn't have the impact as a receiver that he did in the Hall of Fame Game last week, but he was given snaps in the first half, putting him in the mix for one of the final spots on the wideout depth chart. He also ran the ball for the second straight preseason contest, which suggests the Texans view him as a potential multi-dimensional weapon.
-
Ben Skowronek WR | PIT
Texans' Ben Skowronek: Shut out Friday
Skowronek did not catch either of two targets in Friday's 20-12 preseason win over Pittsburgh.
Skowronek was showcased mostly in the second half and both targets were thrown by fourth-string quarterback Tim Boyle. The 27-year-old wideout is vying for one of the final spots on the depth chart. His primary competitors are Xavier Hutchinson, John Metchie and Noah Brown (shoulder).
-
Robert Woods WR | PIT
Texans' Robert Woods: Paces receivers Friday
Woods caught all four targets for 42 yards in Friday's 20-12 preseason win over Pittsburgh.
Woods made his preseason debut and led all Houston receivers in yards. If healthy, Woods is expected to be the team's fourth wideout.
-
Jaray Jenkins WR | PIT
Steelers' Jaray Jenkins: Records two catches Friday
Jenkins secured both of his targets for 22 yards during Friday's 20-12 preseason loss to Houston.
Jenkins was waived from injured reserve with an injury settlement by the Jaguars ahead of the 2023 season, and he didn't land with another team last year. The LSU product signed with the Steelers in June but faces an uphill battle to earn a spot on the team's active roster ahead of the 2024 campaign, even after Pittsburgh lost Diontae Johnson, Allen Robinson and Miles Boykin during the offseason. However, even if Jenkins is left off the 53-man roster, he could make a case for a role with the team's practice squad.
