  • Vikings' Jerick McKinnon: Compiles 99 total yards in Week 6 win

McKinnon rushed 16 times for 69 yards and a touchdown while also hauling in five of six targets for 30 yards and another score in Sunday's 23-10 win over the Packers. He also lost a fumble.

The speedy tailback once again outpaced backfield mate Latavius Murray while logging a rushing touchdown for the second consecutive week. McKinnon crossed the goal line from three yards out to cap an eight-play, 84-yard drive midway through the second quarter, a score that was preceded by a 27-yard touchdown reception on the first play of the period. Despite Murray initially being considered as the workhorse back in the wake of Dalvin Cook's season-ending knee injury, McKinnon has notched 32 rushing touches to Murray's 27 in the subsequent pair of contests. Furthermore, the 25-year-old is averaging an impressive 5.1 yards per tote over that span, far outdistancing Murray's 2.2. McKinnon will look to continue churning out superior production in a Week 7 home tilt against the Ravens.

  • Alvin Kamara RB | NO

Saints' Alvin Kamara: Totals 87 yards

Kamara rushed for 75 yards on 10 carries and added 12 yards on four catches in Sunday's 52-38 win over Detroit.

Adrian Peterson's departure actually didn't give Kamara that big of an uptick in workload on Sunday. His 14 touches actually fell one below his Week 4 total. Some of that might have been due to the circumstances of the game and the team leaning on Mark Ingram, a thicker back, to run out the clock. Expect for his usage moving forward to more securely rest at 15-to-20 touches per game. New Orleans no doubt wants to tap into Kamara's big-play ability that has led to an absurd 8.1 yards per rush over the past three weeks. The receiving-inclined Kamara could spell Ingram for stretches as opposed to just coming in for a change of pace.

  • Ameer Abdullah RB | JAC

Lions' Ameer Abdullah: Held to 54 yards

Abdullah rushed for 54 yards on 14 carries in Sunday's 52-38 loss to the Saints.

Detroit's ability to run the ball obviously took a hit early as they trailed by three touchdowns at halftime. The fact that Abdullah still ran the ball at least 14 times for the fifth time in six games should be encouraging for Abdullah fans as he reached that total just twice in his first 18 career games as Detroit has been pass-happy in recent seasons. The next test will be to be more productive with those touches as he has topped four yards per carry just twice in six games this season and has scored one touchdown.

  • Samaje Perine RB | CIN

Redskins' Samaje Perine: Scores first career touchdown

Perine rushed for 23 yards on nine carries and added three catches for 24 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 26-24 win over the 49ers.

Perine's first career touchdown came early in the second quarter when Kirk Cousins checked down to him in the flat for a diving one-yard score. His increased opportunity came as a result of Rob Kelley (ankle) missing the contest. The good news mostly ended there for Perine as, after tallying at least 20 touches in Weeks 2 and 3, he saw Chris Thompson go off for 20 touches and 138 total yards Sunday -- more than Perine has seen in the past two games combined. He's been held below 3.5 yards per carry in three of four outings. While Washington leans heavily on Thompson, who leads the team in both receiving and rushing through five games, Perine figures to be more of a short-yardage, change-of-pace back -- and that role becomes murkier when Kelley returns.

  • Patriots' Mike Gillislee: Loses fumble in Week 6 win

Gillislee rushed 10 times for 44 yards but wasn't targeted in the passing game in Sunday's 24-17 win over the Jets. He also lost a fumble.

Gillislee fumbled just outside the red zone on his fourth carry late in the first quarter and wasn't called upon again until the second half. Dion Lewis was able to convert a one-yard touchdown in the second quarter, giving him two rushing scores since Gillislee last found pay dirt in Week 2. Gillislee also doesn't have a catch this year, so his luster has worn off after a hot start.

  • Aaron Jones RB | MIN

Packers' Aaron Jones: Shares workload Sunday

Jones had 13 carries for 41 yards and one reception for one yard in Sunday's 23-10 loss to the Vikings.

Jones dominated the backfield work for the Packers in Week 5 with fellow back Ty Montgomery sidelined, but with Montgomery back in action this week, the duo split the load. Jones did end up with three more touches than Montgomery by the end of Sunday's game, but the latter got the start and is still recovering from broken ribs, so that won't necessarily be the case moving forward. The two players figure to continue sharing the snaps in some fashion, but there could be some changes to the Packers offense with Brett Hundley under center instead of the injured Aaron Rodgers (collarbone).

  • Matt Breida RB | SF

49ers' Matt Breida: Totals 36 yards in loss

Breida rushed for 21 yards on four carries and added 15 yards on two catches in Sunday's 26-24 loss to Washington.

The six touches were Breida's lowest total since Week 3. A good part of that can be explained by the fact that San Francisco had to lean on the pass after falling behind by two scores early. The rookie remains San Francisco's No. 2 behind Carlos Hyde, and he could be thrust into the top slot if rumors of the latter's potential departure via trade come to fruition.

  • Bears' Benny Cunningham: Hurts hamstring Sunday

Cunningham is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Ravens.

Cunningham only has six carries and five receptions in four games this season, so his absence won't hurt fantasy owners. However, he's a valued kick returner, and rookie Tarik Cohen will take over there until Cunningham is healthy.

  • Branden Oliver RB | IND

Chargers' Branden Oliver: Won't play Sunday

Oliver (hamstring) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Raiders.

With Oliver still sidelined, Austin Ekeler is in line Sunday to serve as Melvin Gordon's top backup and thus work in a complementary role in the Chargers' Week 6 backfield.

  • Lions' Dwayne Washington: Inactive Week 6

Washington (quadriceps) is inactive for Sunday's contest at New Orleans, Mike Rothstein of ESPN.com reports.

Washington's stretch of DNPs will extend to four games as he recovers from a quadriceps injury. Behind the Lions' running back duo of Ameer Abdullah and Theo Riddick, Zach Zenner may continue to pick up some short-yardage reps until Washington is ready to return.
