Gibson gained 36 yards on nine carries and added two additional yards while snaring both his targets during Sunday's 27-17 win over the Eagles.

Making his NFL debut, Gibson led the team in rushing despite receiving roughly half as many carries as Peyton Barber. The majority of his production came on a nifty 20-yard scamper, but nevertheless, it was encouraging to see him average 4.0 yards per carry against one of the tougher run defenses in the league. Barber did score twice on the day, but perhaps Gibson's more productive per-touch numbers could earn him additional usage next Sunday against the Cardinals.

Gaskin rushed nine times for 40 yards and caught all four of his targets for 26 more in Sunday's 21-11 loss to New England.

Gaskin surprisingly led Miami in both carries and yards on the ground, with Jordan Howard rushing eight times for seven yards and a touchdown and Matt Breida rushing five times for 22 yards. Gaskin also tied for the team lead in catches. Howard's struggles have opened the door for Gaskin to take over as the team's lead back, and he'll have a chance to solidify that role in Week 2 against the Bills.

Cook rushed 12 times for 50 yards and two touchdowns and brought in one of two targets for minus-2 yards in the Vikings' 43-34 loss to the Packers on Sunday. He also notched a pair of two-point conversion runs.

Cook saw game script take him out of the equation for large stretches, as the Vikings found themselves down 22-10 at the half and 29-10 after three quarters. However, he salvaged his fantasy day with a pair of touchdowns, the second coming with 7:55 remaining and Minnesota down 36-18. The newly minted running back, who signed a lucrative five-year extension Saturday, will look to pay better dividends in a Week 2 road interconference matchup against the Colts next Sunday.

Montgomery rushed 13 times for 64 yards while catching one of three targets for an additional 10 yards in the Bears' 27-23 victory over Detroit.

After missing practice time over the last few weeks with a groin injury, Montgomery handled his typical role as the early-down runner, and he regularly posted positive yardage on his attempts against a Lions' defensive line that failed to get consistent penetration into the backfield. With the Bears trailing by over two touchdowns in the third quarter, however, Montgomery saw very few rushing attempts down the stretch because the team had to employ a pass-heavy attack. With very little competition for touches, he should continue to be a volume-based top-24 weekly fantasy option at running back.

Taylor tallied nine rushes for 22 yards in the team's Week 1 contest against the Jaguars. He also added six receptions for 67 yards.

Taylor took over an expanded role with Marlon Mack's exit (Achilles), particularly as a receiver. He finished second on the team in receiving yards, as the Colts tried to play catch-up against the Jaguars. While Taylor didn't accomplish much on the ground, he should have the chance to improve in terms of both volume and efficiency moving forward. He's in line to take over a lead-back role in Week 2 against the Vikings.

Clement carried six times for 19 yards and caught both his targets for an additional two yards during Sunday's 27-17 loss to Washington.

In the absence of Miles Sanders (hamstring), Clement received his first offensive touches since the 2018 season. He averaged an underwhelming 3.2 yards per carry and did next to nothing as a receiver outside of an eight-yard gain. Clement could play a role next Sunday against the Rams if Sanders remains out, but even if he does, he seems like a longshot for notable fantasy production.

Scott carried nine times for 35 yards and caught both his targets for an additional 19 yards during Sunday's 27-17 loss to Washington.

Scott received the most carries out of the Philadelphia backfield, but he managed just 3.9 yards per rush against a tough defensive front. He made a couple of nice gains through the air but still finished with an uninspiring final stat line. Corey Clement and Jason Huntley combined for just 20 yards on seven carries, as the entire team struggled to get going after halftime. Scott was starting in place of Miles Sanders (hamstring), and he should see a diminished role if his teammate is deemed healthy enough to make his season debut in Week 2 against the Rams.

Singletary rushed nine times for 30 yards and added five catches for 23 yards on seven targets in Sunday's 27-17 win over the Jets.

Singletary was bottled up by the Jets, but so was Zack Moss (nine carries for 11 yards). Moss made up for his lack of rushing production with a four-yard receiving touchdown, while quarterback Josh Allen scored the team's lone rushing touchdown and led in both carries (14) and rushing yards (57). Singletary still has time to carve out a larger role in the crowded Buffalo backfield (given Allen's propensity to run the ball), but the second-year back will need a better performance in Week 2 against the Dolphins.

Moss rushed nine times for 11 yards and caught three of four targets for 16 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 27-17 win over the Jets.

Moss split the rushing work evenly with Devin Singletary (nine carries for 30 yards), but it was quarterback Josh Allen who paced Buffalo's ground game with 14 carries for 57 yards and a touchdown. Allen's power-running style will likely rob Moss of some short touchdowns, but the rookie was on the field when the Bills got in close and caught a four-yard touchdown in the second quarter. Neither running back was able to separate himself in this one, so expect Moss and Singletary to see a near-even split in touches against the Dolphins in Week 2.

With fears that Marlon Mack suffered a torn Achilles against the Jaguars on Sunday, Taylor's role in the Colts' ground game is likely to expand going forward, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

Taylor, whom the Colts took in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft, 41st overall, had been slated to work in a time-share with Mack, while Nyheim Hines handled change-of-pace duties for the team. With Mack now likely to miss extended time, the promising Taylor's early down profile, and in turn, his fantasy upside, now appear destined to increase.
