Gus Edwards RB | LAC
Ravens' Gus Edwards: Tallies 60 rushing yards
Edwards carried the ball 12 times for 60 yards in the Ravens' Week 17 win over the Bengals. He added one reception for 10 yards.
Despite drawing no carries in the fourth quarter, Edwards reached double-digit rushing attempts for the second consecutive game to close the regular season. His role with the team has remained remarkably consistent, as he has now had between 139 and 153 total touches across each of his four campaigns. He has never surpassed 1,000 total yards, though his 852 yards from scrimmage in 2020 were the highest of his career. He'll likely continue to split duties in the Ravens' backfield with J.K. Dobbins throughout the team's playoff push.

D'Andre Swift RB | CHI
Lions' D'Andre Swift: Scores in season finale
Swift rushed 12 times for 54 yards and one touchdown while securing three of three targets for 16 yards during Sunday's 37-35 loss to Minnesota.
While he ceded a good chunk of the work in the ground game to Adrian Peterson, Swift again drew the start and ultimately paced the backfield in touches for the eighth time in his last eight games. After starting the season slowly as a depth option behind Peterson, the rookie will finish the campaign with 878 total yards and 10 scores, averaging nearly 80 total yards and a score in his eight starts as one of the few bright spots in Detroit's 5-11 2020 campaign. With Peterson no longer under contract beyond this season, the future is especially bright for Swift.

Ronald Jones RB | DAL
Buccaneers' Ronald Jones: Gets into end zone in return
Jones rushed 12 times for 78 yards and a touchdown in the Buccaneers' 44-27 win over the Falcons on Sunday.
Making his return from a two-game absence as a result of a finger injury and stint on the reserve/COVID-19 list, Jones was efficient with his modest number of opportunities. The third-year back's long run of the day went for just 16 yards, so he consistently gained positive yardage versus a Falcons defense that had been stingy against the run all season. Jones' lack of passing game work was a disappointment, but now that he garnered some game action prior to the end of the regular season, the USC product should be ready for a full workload in a first-round playoff matchup against either the Giants or Washington next weekend.

Austin Ekeler RB | WAS
Chargers' Austin Ekeler: Suffers concussion Sunday
Ekeler won't return to Sunday's game at Kansas City due to a concussion.
Ekeler took a hit to the helmet near the end of the first half, which resulted in a concussion and an end to his fourth year as a pro. He sat out Weeks 5 through 11 due to a Grade 2 hamstring strain and a hyperextended knee. Despite making just 10 appearances this season, Ekeler averaged 4.6 YPC en route to 530 yards on the ground, hauled in 54 of 66 targets for 403 yards and scored three touchdowns. Per 16 games, his line equates to 1,493 yards from scrimmage and 4.8 TDs, so he should be a top-notch RB option when the 2021 campaign rolls around.
-
Nick Chubb RB | HOU
Browns' Nick Chubb: Tops 1,000 yards on ground
Chubb carried the ball 14 times for 108 yards and a touchdown in Week 17 against the Steelers.
Chubb topped 1,000 rushing yards on the season with his third carry of the game -- a 47-yard touchdown. That feat is even more impressive given that Chubb missed four contests with a knee injury, beginning in Week 5. He closed the season strong upon his return, topping 100 total yards in all but two of his last eight efforts. He'll play a key role in the Browns' potential playoff success and will continue to lead the team's backfield.
-
Zack Moss RB | CIN
Bills' Zack Moss: Limited workload in Week 17 win
Moss rushed three times for eight yards and caught his only target for 13 yards in Sunday's 56-26 win over Miami.
Moss and Devin Singletary each got three carries and one catch, as Buffalo's main goal was keeping its backfield tandem healthy for the wild-card round next week. Third-stringer Antonio Williams made the most of his opportunity with a pair of touchdowns in the blowout win. Moss finishes his rookie regular season with 112 carries for 481 yards and four touchdowns, as well as 95 yards and a touchdown on 14 receptions.
-
J.K. Dobbins RB | DEN
Ravens' J.K. Dobbins: Erupts to close regular season
Dobbins rushed the ball 13 times for 160 yards and two touchdowns in Week 17 against the Bengals.
Dobbins had a relatively quite first half, logging eight rushes for 45 yards. However, he had a big role in closing out the Ravens' victory, racking up touchdowns of 72 and four yards. After failing to command double-digit rushing attempts in the team's first six games, Dobbins has exploded in his final nine contests by racking up 651 rushing yards and seven touchdowns on the ground. He'll enter the Ravens' playoff matchup as the team's lead back.
-
Myles Gaskin RB | SEA
Dolphins' Myles Gaskin: Finds end zone in Week 17 loss
Gaskin rushed seven times for 20 yards and a touchdown while catching four of five targets for 57 yards in Sunday's 56-26 loss to Buffalo.
Gaskin failed to find much running room but came through for fantasy managers relying on him in the season finale with a one-yard touchdown plunge to cap the first drive of the second half. Unfortunately for the 23-year-old running back, his team needed a win to guarantee a playoff spot and now looks likely to come up just short of making the postseason. Gaskin established himself as Miami's lead back when healthy with 142 carries for 584 yards and three touchdowns, plus 42 catches for 388 yards and two touchdowns, in 10 games played. The 2019 seventh-round pick will likely start next season as the top option in Miami's backfield barring an offseason shakeup.
-
Alexander Mattison RB | MIA
Vikings' Alexander Mattison: Posts 145 scrimmage yards, two TDs
Mattison ran for 95 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries while corralling all three of his targets for 50 yards and a receiving TD during Sunday's 37-35 win against the Lions.
In relief of Dalvin Cook, who was absent Week 17 following the loss of his father, Mattison got out to a slow start with eight yards over his first three attempts of the afternoon. He found a spark on Minnesota's fourth offensive drive, notching 25 yards on his first three touches of the possession before coasting 28 yards on a fourth-down catch-and-run to provide the first of five Viking TDs. The 22-year-old closes the season with 434 rushing yards and two touchdowns over 96 attempts. He garnered double-digit carries Weeks 5, 6, 9 and 17, but otherwise only twice exceeded six rush attempts in a game. Given that Cook agreed to a five-year, $63 million extension with Minnesota in September, Mattison remains an elite insurance policy as he heads into his third year under contract in 2021.
-
Ezekiel Elliott RB | LAC
Cowboys' Ezekiel Elliott: Scores TD in season-ending loss
Elliott carried 14 times for 42 yards and a touchdown while adding three receptions (on four yards) for 19 yards during Sunday's 23-19 loss to the Giants.
Elliott, who was in and out of the game with apparent minor leg issues, averaged just 3.0 yards per carry against a solid defensive front. He generated fantasy utility with his first rushing touchdown since Week 5 and a handful of receptions, but this production was still less than what we've come to expect from him in previous seasons. Dramatically affected by injuries all over the Dallas offense, Elliott finishes the season with career lows in total touchdowns (eight) as well as rushing yards (979), and he's a prime candidate for a bounce-back 2021 season.
