  • Gus Edwards RB | LAC

Ravens' Gus Edwards: Logs nine carries

Edwards rushed the ball nine times for 42 yards in Week 15 against the Jaguars. He added two receptions for 36 yards.

Edwards led the Ravens offense on their opening drive, taking the first two handoffs of the game. However, he was ultimately out-touched by J.K. Dobbins 15-11. Despite the limited workload, Edwards had chances to produce, specifically taking a handoff to the two-yard line before being replaced by Dobbins to begin the second quarter. Similarly, Edwards broke off a 34-yard run early in the third quarter that ended five yards shy of the end zone, though Lamar Jackson ultimately capped the drive with a touchdown rush of his own. Edwards should be in line for a similar workload in Week 16 against the Giants.

  • Chiefs' Clyde Edwards-Helaire: Good news from X-rays

Edwards-Helaire (hip/leg) received negative X-ray results after Sunday's 32-29 win over the Saints, Matt McMullen of the Chiefs' official site reports.

Coach Andy Reid said that Edwards-Helaire "got twisted up into the splits" in the fourth quarter of Sunday's win, but it looks like the rookie running back has at least avoided any sort of fracture. Edwards-Helaire had to be helped off the field by trainers, and he was unable to put any weight on his left leg. Le'Veon Bell, who had 15 carries for 62 yards and a score versus New Orleans, would be in line to lead Kansas City's backfield if Edwards-Helaire can't face the Falcons in Week 16.

  • Chiefs' Clyde Edwards-Helaire: Injured late Sunday

Edwards-Helaire (hip/leg) is doubtful to return to Sunday's game against the Saints.

The rookie first-round pick appeared to have his lower left leg rolled up on late in the fourth quarter. He was able to limp off the field with the assistance of trainers but didn't place any weight on his injured leg. Le'Veon Bell stands to take over as the Chiefs' primary ball carrier as long as Edwards-Helaire is sidelined. Before leaving the field, Edwards-Helaire had 14 carries for 79 yards and secured one of four targets for four yards.

  • J.K. Dobbins RB | DEN

Ravens' J.K. Dobbins: Leads backfield again

Dobbins carried the ball 14 times for 64 yards and a touchdown in Week 15 against the Jaguars. He added one reception for 17 yards.

Dobbins paced the Ravens' backfield, though Gus Edwards still commanded nine carries to eat into his workload. His longest rush came on the fifth play from scrimmage, when he racked up 11 yards along the left side of the offensive line. Dobbins continued to rush well throughout the first half, ripping off runs of seven, eight and nine yards on two separate drives before plunging into the end zone from two yards away. He has now hit pay dirt in four consecutive games and will head into a Week 16 matchup against the Giants with a seemingly secure workload.

  • Colts' Jonathan Taylor: Paces backfield again

Taylor rushed 16 times for 83 yards and a touchdown in Week 15 against the Texans. He added four receptions for 12 yards as a receiver.

Taylor dominated the work out of the Colts' backfield, accounting for 16 of the 21 running back touches. He worked efficiently, tallying a long run of 14 yards and also rushing for at least five yards on eight of his attempts. Taylor opened the scoring with a five-yard touchdown plunge, his second consecutive game with a score. Also encouraging was Taylor's continued work as a receiver, as he doubled Nyheim Hines' reception total. He should maintain his status as the clear lead back in a Week 16 matchup against Pittsburgh.

  • D'Andre Swift RB | CHI

Lions' D'Andre Swift: Scores twice via ground

Swift registered 67 yards and two rushing TDs over 15 carries, adding four receptions for 15 yards during Sunday's 46-25 loss to the Titans. He also lost one fumble.

With Detroit remaining devoid of No. 1 wideout Kenny Golladay (hip) since Week 8, Swift again stepped into a notable pass-catching role, tying Mohamed Sanu for second on the team in targets. The second-round rookie currently holds a streak of eight consecutive games with three or more receptions, and he's now provided three rushing scores over his past two outings. Swift was inches away from a fourth TD in two games, but Tennessee defender DaQuan Jones punched the ball out to cause a goal-line turnover in the second quarter. A Week 16 matchup against Tampa Bay has the potential to curtail Swift's effectiveness on the ground, as the Buccaneers are surrendering a league-low 3.1 yards per carry to opposing backs on the season.

  • DeeJay Dallas RB | JAC

Seahawks' DeeJay Dallas: Diagnosed with sprained ankle

Dallas suffered a sprained ankle during Sunday's 20-15 win over Washington, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports.

Dallas underwent an X-ray after being carted off the field Sunday, but he received encouraging news by avoiding a fracture. He could certainly miss time still, and a more definitive timeline should be provided when the practice week begins Wednesday. The Seahawks have the backfield depth to absorb Dallas' absence, as Rashaad Penny returned from the PUP list this week to serve behind Chris Carson and Carlos Hyde.

  • Bears' Cordarrelle Patterson: Limited to seven yards

Patterson caught one pass for four yards while adding a three-yard rush in the Bears' 33-27 victory over the Vikings on Sunday.

With David Montgomery carrying the team on his back with 32 carries, Patterson was an afterthought in the Chicago offense, resulting in the fourth time this season he produced fewer than 10 rushing and receiving yards. Due to his inconsistent role in the offense, he'll be difficult to trust in Week 16 fantasy lineups despite a favorable matchup against the Jaguars.

  • Jeff Wilson RB | MIA

49ers' Jeff Wilson: Injures ankle Sunday

Wilson suffered an ankle injury during Sunday's 41-33 loss at Dallas, Jennifer Lee Chan of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Wilson didn't get much run until Raheem Mostert departed in the third quarter after appearing to aggravate a left ankle injury. Overall, Mostert totaled 14 carries for 68 yards while Wilson notched 60 yards and one touchdown on 16 runs. With the 49ers' current top two running backs dealing with health concerns, Tevin Coleman (three rushes for 11 yards) and Jerick McKinnon (two catches for 22 yards on two targets) are the team's remaining health options at the position.

  • Derrick Henry RB | BAL

Titans' Derrick Henry: Tops 150 total yards

Henry rushed the ball 24 times for 147 yards and a touchdown in Week 15 against the Lions. He added two receptions for five yards.

The Titans offense moved up and down the field at will, and Henry played a big role in that effort as has come to be expected. He capped the team's first offensive possession with a three-yard touchdown plunge. From there, Henry continuously gained chunks of yardage, with 10 of his 24 rushing attempts going for more than five yards. Overall, he has topped 130 rushing yards on the ground in four of his list five contests. Henry will look to continue his tremendous production in Week 16 against the Packers.
