Zonovan Knight RB | ARI
Lions' Zonovan Knight: Joins Detroit's 53-man roster
Detroit signed Knight off their practice squad Wednesday.
Knight's addition to the team suggests the Lions could be in need of running back depth Sunday against the Falcons, and possibly beyond, after David Montgomery (thigh) came out of the Week 2 loss to Seattle with an injury. Even if Montgomery sits out, Knight could find himself third in line for work out of the backfield behind rookie first-round pick Jahmyr Gibbs and Craig Reynolds.

Kenyan Drake RB | GB
Kenyan Drake: Joining Baltimore's practice squad
Drake agreed Wednesday to join the Ravens' practice squad, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
With J.K. Dobbins (Achilles) on injured reserve and out for the season, Drake and fellow practice squad member Melvin Gordon will provide Baltimore with added backfield depth behind Justice Hill and Gus Edwards. Drake has familiarity with the Ravens after appearing in 12 games for the team in 2022, carrying 109 times for 482 yards and four touchdowns to go with 17 catches for 89 yards and another score.

Breece Hall RB | NYJ
Jets' Breece Hall: Limited in practice, as usual
Hall (knee) was a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic reports.
Hall's practice reps have been capped all season, with the Jets taking a cautious approach with his return from the torn ACL he suffered last October. He suited up for both of the team's first two games but saw his touches dip from 11 in Week 1 to four in Week 2 as the Jets fell behind early in Dallas and abandoned the run. If the Jets are able to follow a more positive game script this Sunday against the Patriots, Hall should see his opportunities tick back up.

Godwin Igwebuike RB | PIT
Steelers' Godwin Igwebuike: Finds new home
The Steelers signed Igwebuike off the Falcons' practice squad Thursday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Igwebuike will bring added depth to the Pittsburgh backfield after Anthony McFarland (knee) was placed on injured reserve Monday. The 28-year-old likely won't have a regular role on offense but could challenge Gunner Olszewski (concussion) for the top kickoff return job.

Julius Chestnut RB | TEN
Titans' Julius Chestnut: Working behind Henry, Spears
Chestnut played one of his 16 snaps on offense and went without a touch in Sunday's 27-24 overtime win over the Chargers.
Chestnut has logged just six snaps on offense and has yet to record a carry or a reception while serving as the Titans' No. 3 running back behind Derrick Henry and Tyjae Spears. Unless one of the two players above him on the depth chart misses time for whatever reason, Chestnut doesn't look as though he'll be in line for a regular role out of the backfield.

Nick Chubb RB | HOU
Browns' Nick Chubb: Placed on IR
The Browns placed Chubb (knee) on injured reserve Wednesday.
Though Cleveland has yet to provide a precise diagnosis for the left knee injury that Chubb sustained in Monday's loss to the Steelers, Josina Anderson of CBS Sports relays that the running back is dealing with damage to ligaments and his meniscus and could require two surgeries. Chubb will be shut down for the remainder of the season, and in response to the loss of their top back, the Browns signed vetearn Kareem Hunt on Wednesday. As Chubb embarks on a lengthy recovery from his knee injury, the Browns will proceed with Jerome Ford as their top back beginning with this Sunday's game against the Titans, per Kelsey Russo of the team's official site. Hunt -- who played for the franchise from 2019 through 2022 -- and Pierre Strong are candidates to pick up reps behind Ford.

Keaontay Ingram RB | KC
Cardinals' Keaontay Ingram: Handles two carries in loss
Ingram rushed two times for six yards in Sunday's 31-28 loss to the Giants.
Ingram was a nonfactor in the Cardinals' offense Sunday, as he played just 10 of Arizona's 65 offensive snaps in the contest. Fellow running back James Conner, however, played 47 snaps and handled 23 carries for 106 yards and a touchdown. Barring an injury to Conner, Ingram should remain far off the fantasy radar going forward. The 23-year-old will likely have a difficult time seeing much playing time when the Cardinals host the Cowboys in Week 3.
-
Jerick McKinnon RB | KC
Chiefs' Jerick McKinnon: Quiet in win
McKinnon caught all three of his targets for 24 yards and rushed once for minus-2 yards in Sunday's 17-9 win over the Jaguars.
After failing to record a carry and only securing one catch in Week 1, McKinnon's usage in Week 2 was a slight improvement. However, the veteran running back continues to be an afterthought in the Chiefs offensive attack. Patrick Mahomes has been spreading the ball around, targeting 12 different players through the air in Week 2. Additionally, fellow running back Isiah Pacheco continues to see the bulk of the snaps and touches out of the backfield. McKinnon will be difficult to trust for fantasy purposes going forward, including in a matchup with the Bears in Week 3.

Nick Chubb RB | HOU
Browns' Nick Chubb: Could require multiple surgeries
Chubb (knee) could undergo surgery within the next 7-to-10 days and then again several weeks later, Josina Anderson of CBS Sports reports.
The precise diagnosis of Chubb's injury is not completely clear yet, but according to the latest report he also has damage to his meniscus. His injuries are season-ending, which means the star running back will focus on recovery going forward. The 27-year-old notably dislocated and tore the MCL, PCL and LCL in the same knee in October 2015 during his sophomore season at Georgia. Jerome Ford will fill in as the Browns' new feature back in the immediate future, but Cleveland is still expected to bring in another veteran option at the position.

Qadree Ollison RB | PIT
Qadree Ollison: Back to practice squad
Ollison reverted to the Steelers' practice squad Tuesday.
Ollison was elevated ahead of Monday's 26-22 win over the Browns, but he only played five snaps on special teams, failing to record a stat. The running back could join the active roster again in Week 3 versus the Raiders as Anthony McFarland (knee) will once again be unavailable.
