Browns' Greg Joseph: Nails two field goals

Joseph converted both of his field goals and one extra-point attempt during Thursday's 21-17 win against the Jets.

In Joseph's first game as an NFL kicker, he did what Zane Gonzalez struggled to do -- put the ball through the uprights. Even though the Browns currently lead the league in field-goal attempts, Joseph shouldn't be considered a reliable fantasy kicker until his sample size of success grows a bit larger.

  • Jason Myers K | SEA

Jets' Jason Myers: Light workload in Week 3 loss

Myers connected on a 28-yard field goal and both of his PAT attempts in Thursday's 21-17 loss to Cleveland.

Myers wasn't asked to do much, as the Jets raced out to a 14-0 lead and mustered just one field goal the rest of the way. Things don't project to get any easier for this offense with a trip to Jacksonville next on the docket.

  • Dolphins' Jason Sanders: Misses extra point

Sanders did not attempt a field goal and missed one of his three extra-point tries in Sunday's 20-12 win over the Jets.

Sanders was perfect while scoring nine points in Week 1, so he'll be disappointed by Sunday's letdown on his third and final extra-point opportunity. The rookie will look to clean things up this weekend versus the Raiders.

  • Chiefs' Harrison Butker: Tallies six points

Butker did not attempt a field goal, but made all six of his extra-point tries in Sunday's 42-37 win over the Steelers.

Butker did all that was asked of him from a Kansas City offense that was highly efficient Sunday. Given how well the Chiefs have moved the ball so far this season, Butker should have plenty of scoring opportunities going forward, even if those were limited to one-point chances in Week 2.

  • Steelers' Chris Boswell: Misses another field goal

Boswell missed his only field-goal attempt from 49 yards and went 3-for-4 on extra-point attempts in Sunday's loss to the Chiefs.

It's been a shaky start to the season for Boswell, who is now 0-for-2 on field goal attempts. Both attempts have come from over 40 yards, so it isn't time for the Steelers to hit the panic button yet.

  • Redskins' Dustin Hopkins: Misses one field goal Sunday

Hopkins went 3-for-4 on field goals in Sunday's loss to the Colts.

It was a busy day for Hopkins, whose only miss came when he was wide left on a 49-yard attempt. Still, he connected on two other tries from 49 yards out, as well as one from 27 yards away.

  • Broncos' Brandon McManus: Kicks game-winner to seal 2-0 start

McManus nailed both of his field goals and two extra points during Sunday's 20-19 win over the Raiders.

McManus came up clutch with the game on the line as he calmly drilled a game-winning 36-yard field goal with six seconds remaining in regulation. The Broncos kicker made amends for his missed extra point in Week 1 with the strong outing.

  • Graham Gano K | NYG

Panthers' Graham Gano: Flawless in defeat

Gano made a 54-yard field goal on his lone attempt in Sunday's 31-24 loss to the Falcons. He also made all three of his extra-point tries, registering six points in total.

Gano missed his only attempt from 50-plus yards last season, so he started this term on the right foot by converting his first opportunity Sunday. Through two weeks, Gano has netted 10 points while not missing a kick.

  • Rams' Greg Zuerlein: Out 'at least a few weeks'

Rams head coach Sean McVay said Monday that Zuerlien (groin) would be out "at least a few weeks," Rich Hammond of The Orange County Register reports.

Zuerlein injured his groin during pregame warmups ahead of Sunday's victory over the Cardinals, forcing punter Johnny Hekker into an emergency placekicking role. Hekker hit his only try from 20 yards out, but he won't be tasked with kicking responsibilities any longer after the Rams signed Sam Ficken on Monday. Zuerlein, who was a Pro Bowler and first-team All-Pro selection last season, will avoid injured reserve for the time being and will presumably resume his regular kicking duties once his groin has fully healed.

  • Browns' Zane Gonzalez: Let go by Cleveland

The Browns will release Gonzalez (groin) following his early-season struggles, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

With Gonzalez struggling out of the gate, team moved on from the 2017 seventh-rounder Monday by adding Greg Joseph, who spent the preseason with the Dolphins in the wake of a strong college career at Florida Atlantic.
