  • Cairo Santos K | CHI

Bears' Cairo Santos: Tallies eight points

Santos connected on two field goals and two extra points in the Bears' 20-17 win over the Bengals on Sunday.

With the Chicago offense breaking down twice in the red zone, Santos made a pair of field goals from inside 30 yards. After two games, he has just 10 points, and unless the Bears offense starts to be more explosive, Santos may be difficult to trust in weekly fantasy lineups.

  • Nick Folk K | ATL

Patriots' Nick Folk: Promoted to active roster

Folk was elevated from the practice squad Saturday, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.

This was to be expected as Quinn Nordin (abdomen) was moved to injured reserve. Expect to see Folk officially sign with the active roster next week as the veteran kicker is out of practice squad elevations.

  • Joey Slye K | TEN

Texans' Joey Slye: Set to be top kicker

Slye was elevated from Houston's practice squad Saturday, Aaron Wilson of Sportstalk 790 Houston reports.

Slye drilled all three of his attempts in the season opener and he'll be slated to be the top kicker once more with Ka'imi Fairbairn (leg) still sidelined. Slye will likely officially join the active roster next week, as he's now out of practice squad elevations.

  • Nick Folk K | ATL

    Nick Folk: Another promotion looming

With Quinn Nordin (abdomen) ruled out for Sunday's game against the Jets, look for Folk to be elevated from the Patriots' practice squad to the team's active roster ahead of the contest.

It's an assignment that Folk could hold on to in the coming weeks, with Ian Rapoport of NFL Network suggesting that Nordin is a candidate to go on IR. Either way, Folk -- who made all three of his field-goal attempts in the the team's Week 1 loss to the Dolphins, en route to recording 10 points -- is on track to kick again for New England this weekend, and likely beyond.

  • Football Team's Dustin Hopkins: Connects on game-winning kick

Hopkins made all three of his extra points and all three of his field goals -- including a 43-yard game-winner as time expired -- during Thursday's 30-29 win over the Giants.

All three of Hopkins' field goals came in the second half after the Giants took a 20-14 lead. The teams exchanged field goals on four consecutive possessions before Washington claimed the lead with a two-play, 75-yard drive to take a 27-26 lead. After the Giants responded with a field goal, Taylor Heinicke led an 11-play drive that set Hopkins up for the 43-yard game-winning kick as time expired. The 30-year-old is a perfect 6-for-6 from inside 50 yards this season.

  • Graham Gano K | NYG

Giants' Graham Gano: On a roll

Gano crushed all five of his field-goal attempts Thursday, including two from beyond 50 yards.

Gano has hit 35 straight field goals including seven from beyond 50 yards. He's one of the game's elite kickers, but of course dependent on the Giants offense.

  • Matt Gay K | LV

Rams' Matt Gay: Hits double figures

Gay made both his field-goal attempts as well as all four of his extra-point tries in Sunday night's 34-14 win over the Bears.

Gay converted from 53 and 22 yards on his respective field goals, starting the season with a perfect kicking record. Given the Rams' explosive offense, Gay is seemingly in a great situation to rack up the points as long as he remains consistent. In Week 2, he'll face the Colts on the road.

  • Dolphins' Jason Sanders: Perfect in opener

Sanders made his only field-goal attempt as well as both of his extra-point tries in Sunday's 17-16 win over the Patriots.

Sanders converted from 48 yards on his lone field-goal opportunity, which helped the Dolphins squeak out a narrow road victory. After tying for fourth in points among kickers last season, Sanders will aim to continue his momentum in Week 2 versus the Bills.

  • Jason Myers K | SEA

Seahawks' Jason Myers: Makes all four kicks

Myers did not attempt a field goal but made all four of his extra-point tries in Sunday's 28-16 win over the Colts.

Myers was restricted to PAT duties but was successful every time he was called upon. The veteran will hope to maintain his perfect record while getting some field-goal opportunities in Week 2 versus the Titans.

  • Panthers' Zane Gonzalez: Takes over as Carolina kicker

Gonzalez was signed by Carolina off Detroit's practice squad Tuesday, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.

The Panthers will make a change at kicker following their Week 1 win over the Jets, bringing in Gonzalez to replace Ryan Santoso, who was waived after missing an extra-point attempt in the victory. Though he lost out in a job battle with Austin Seibert in the preseason for the Lions' kicking job, Gonzalez was one of the more experienced options available for Carolina to add to the roster. The 26-year-old has seen NFL action in each of the past five seasons with either the Cardinals or Browns, converting field goals at a 78 percent clip and maintaining a 94.6 percent success rate on extra-point attempts for his career.
