Titans' Joey Slye: Makes all four kicks in Week 2 loss
Slye made both of his field-goal attempts and each of his two extra-point tries during the Titans' 24-20 loss to the Eagles on Sunday.
Both of Slye's made field goals came within 40 yards, the second of which came from 33 yards to give the Titans a 20-17 lead with less than two minutes left in the fourth quarter. The veteran kicker has made all six of his kicks (three field goals, three extra-point attempts) through the first two games of the regular season and should have more opportunities to score in games when the Titans offense stalls in enemy territory.

Titans' Joey Slye: Solid in loss
Slye made his only field-goal try and his sole extra-point attempt during Sunday's 23-10 loss versus the Jets.
Tennessee was able to muster only 195 total yards Week 1, leaving just two opportunities for Slye to add to the score. His field goal, a 42-yarder, came on the Titans' first drive of the game. Until his team's offense demonstrates it can consistently move the ball, Slye does not project as a great fantasy option.

Titans' Joey Slye: Continues strong preseason
Slye converted all four of his field-goal attempts and made his only PAT try in Sunday's 19-16 preseason win over the Seahawks.
Slye has been locked in this preseason. He hit all four of his field-goal attempts in the preseason opener against San Francisco, with a long of 58 yards, and Slye added another 4-for-4 performance Sunday. Slye was true from 55, 33, 40 and 43 yards against the Seahawks. The big-legged kicker is thriving in the low-pressure environment of the preseason, but Slye has had accuracy issues creep up during the past three regular seasons, converting 80 percent or fewer of his field-goal attempts in each of those campaigns.

Titans' Joey Slye: Staying in Tennessee
Slye is re-signing with Tennessee on a one-year contract, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Last year, Slye made 28 of 35 field-goal attempts (80 percent), including nine of 14 from 50-plus yards, but with a lack of extra-point attempts (27) mostly keeping him off the fantasy radar. That's largely been the story of Slye's career: providing a strong leg for subpar teams. It doesn't help that he's never been great in terms of accuracy, with an 81.4 percent career conversion rate on field goals. The Titans may bring in competition later this offseason.

Titans' Joey Slye: Fades after strong start to 2025
Slye went 28-for-35 on field-goal attempts and 26-for-27 on point-after tries across 16 games with the Titans in 2025.
Slye got off to a fast start to the 2025 season, connecting on all eight of his field-goal attempts through the first two games (three of which came from 50-plus yards). However, the veteran kicker missed four of six field goals over the next two games (though two of those misses came from 60-plus yards) and he was sidelined for the Titans' Week 6 loss to the Raiders while nursing a right calf injury. That ended up being the only game Slye missed in 2025, and he showed off his big leg by connecting on a career-high nine field goals from 50-plus yards, which was tied for fourth most in the NFL behind Chase McLaughlin, Brandon Aubrey and Will Reichard (11 each). Slye enters the offseason as an unrestricted free agent.

Titans' Joey Slye: Makes all six kicks in loss
Slye went 4-of-4 on field-goal tries and 2-of-2 on extra-point attempts in Sunday's 34-26 loss to the Saints.
The kicker also drilled two field goals from more than 50 yards out (50 and 58). Altogether, Slye has only missed one kick since Week 8, and for the year, he's 82 percent on field goals (28-of-34) and 25-of-26 on extra points. He has also gotten at least three extra-point attempts in four of Tennessee's last six games, as the Titans' offense has started to improve.

Slye made all three of his extra-point tries and his lone field-goal attempt during Sunday's 26-9 win over the Chiefs.
Most of the 29-year-old's work came in the second half of Sunday's win, making a 26-yard field goal and two extra points during that span. Slye has had an up-and-down year for the Titans, converting on 24 of 30 field-goal tries and 23 of 24 point-after attempts across 14 contests. His next opportunity to kick will likely come in the Week 17 matchup against the Saints.

Slye gave the Titans a 6-0 lead in the opening 26 minutes of the game by converting 56- and 47-yard field goals, but Tennessee eventually blew the lead and lost its ninth game of the season. Slye got the scoring started with a 49-yard field goal early in the first quarter, and he tacked on a 50-yarder near the end of the first half to give the Titans a 13-10 lead. He was unable to play in Week 6 against the Raiders due to a calf injury, but the veteran kicker progressed enough in his recovery to be cleared to play Sunday. Slye has connected on 15 of 19 field-goal attempts and has gone 5-for-6 on extra-point tries through six regular-season games.

Titans' Joey Slye: Cleared to face former team
Slye (calf) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Titans, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Slye was limited in all three of Tennessee's practices after sitting out the Week 6 loss to the Raiders, but he evidently looked healthy enough to avoid an injury designation. The Titans cut Matthew Wright on Friday after Wright filled in for Slye in Week 6, providing another indicator of the team's confidence in Slye's health. Slye's opportunities could be limited since the Titans are scoring only 13.8 points per game and the Patriots are allowing just 20.0 points per game.
