The Rangers selected Gonzales' contract from Triple-A Round Rock on Tuesday, Jeff Wilson of AllDLLS.com reports.

Gonzales joined the Rangers on a minor-league pact in late June and has since allowed 16 earned runs in just 16.2 innings over three starts. Despite his poor performance, the 34-year-old will return to the majors for the first time in two seasons and join the Rangers' bullpen as a long reliever, replacing the injured Jose Corniell (elbow).

Crawford (wrist) is not in the lineup Tuesday versus the Reds.

Crawford was scratched from Monday's lineup due to a sore left wrist. With the condition of his wrist still in question, he's remaining out Tuesday as Colt Emerson gets the start at shortstop while Weston Wilson starts at third base.

The Rangers placed Corniell on the 15-day injured list Tuesday with an elbow injury, Jeff Wilson of AllDLLS.com reports.

Corniell gave up five earned runs in just one inning out of the bullpen during Monday's game against the White Sox, and he'll now have to remain on the sidelines until at least Aug. 5 due to his latest injury. The severity of his injury remains unknown, though it's worth noting that the 23-year-old righty underwent Tommy John surgery back in 2024. Marco Gonzales was promoted from Triple-A Round Rock in a corresponding move.

Rodriguez (leg) is not in the lineup Tuesday versus the Reds.

Rodriguez was pulled from Monday's game against the Reds after getting hit by a throw from shortstop. He was pulled from the game, though manager Dan Wilson was not too concerned about the star's health. The Mariners have a day off Thursday as they travel to Texas, which could factor into the equation here. Victor Robles starts in center field Tuesday, batting seventh.

Crews isn't in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Rockies, Mark Zuckerman of NatsJournal.com reports.

Crews will get a chance to regroup Tuesday after going just 3-for-29 with a homer, two RBI, five runs and a steal across his last eight starts. Daylen Lile, Jacob Young and James Wood will start across Washington's outfield while Crews sits.

Alvarez isn't in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Brewers.

Alvarez will move to the bench to begin Tuesday's contest after going 1-for-3 with a walk and a run scored in the series opener Monday. Luis Torrens will handle catching duties and bat ninth.

Lodolo (blister) will attempt to throw a bullpen Wednesday, Charlie Goldsmith of Fox 19 Now Cincinnati reports.

As Lodolo tries to throw from a mound Wednesday, he and the Reds will see how he is feeling and judge from there. The southpaw had the blister resurface July 11, which led to his removal from the game. He's been throwing a Plyo ball after getting his blister drained prior to the weekend.

Waldschmidt is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Athletics, Alex Weiner of ArizonaSports.com reports.

Waldschmidt started the previous three games and will hit the bench Tuesday after going 3-for-11 with a double, two runs and six strikeouts. Jorge Barrosa will take over in center field and bat ninth versus Athletics righty Jack Perkins.

The Phillies recalled De La Cruz from Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Tuesday, Lochlahn March of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

The 29-year-old exercised the opt-out in his minor-league contract with the Phillies but quickly re-signed and was added to the 40-man roster in early July, and he'll now get his first look in the majors this season. De La Cruz has 12 homers with an .806 OPS in 84 games with the IronPigs this year, but he hasn't seen significant MLB action since he posted a .654 OPS across 149 games between Pittsburgh and Miami in 2024.

The Diamondbacks optioned Burgos to Triple-A Reno on Tuesday.

Burgos threw 1.1 scoreless innings after coming up from Reno on Monday, but he'll now head back to the minors in order to make room for Kohl Drake, who was recalled to start Tuesday's game against St. Louis. Burgos has now given up one run in 2.2 MLB innings this season, but his 5.88 ERA in the minors will likely limit the number of opportunities he receives with the big club.
