Ballesteros went 2-for-4 with a home run, an additional run scored and three total RBI in Tuesday's 9-2 win over the Rays.

Ballesteros got on the board with his first home run of the season when he took Yoendrys Gomez deep in the ninth inning to put the icing on the cake in an easy Chicago win. The 23-year-old has seen his playing time begin to decrease as he's been in a slump with just a .208 average and .592 OPS even after Tuesday's promising performance. Ballesteros has plenty of offensive upside, and while the Cubs will likely continue to rotate players into the DH spot, the youngster should still see his fair share of opportunities, particularly if he can get on a hot streak.

Kayfus started in left field and went 1-for-4 with a run scored in Tuesday's 2-1 win over Kansas City.

Kayfus singled and scored the game-winning run in the bottom of the ninth inning. He had been held out of the starting lineup in four consecutive games last week, but it appears his contributions in Sunday's doubleheader -- a double, a home run, two RBI and an additional run scored -- put him back on manager Steven Vogt's radar. Tuesday's start was Kayfus' third in the last four contests, and he played a pivotal role off the bench in the game he didn't start.

Crow-Armstrong went 3-for-5 with a solo home run, a stolen base and three total runs scored in Tuesday's 9-2 win over the Rays.

After smacking 31 home runs during the regular season last year, Crow-Armstrong had yet to find his power stroke before Tuesday, but he's now on the board with his first long ball of 2026. The talented outfielder also recorded his fourth stolen base through 11 games. Crow-Armstrong had a 30-30 campaign in 2025, and his ability to both hit the ball over the wall and swipe a base gives him a ton of upside from a fantasy perspective moving forward, especially if he goes on a power surge in the near future.

Drohan will start Wednesday's game against the Red Sox, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

After arriving in Milwaukee in the offseason via trade, Drohan will be making his MLB debut Wednesday against the organization that selected him in the fifth round of the 2020 First-Year Player Draft. The 27-year-old southpaw owns a 5.13 ERA in his Triple-A career, and he allowed two earned runs on three hits and four walks while striking out six batters in 3.1 innings during his first outing of the year at Triple-A Nashville.

Slaten was unavailable for Tuesday's game against the Brewers due to oblique soreness, Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com reports.

The team has labeled Slaten as day-to-day, so his injury doesn't seem to be too severe. The 28-year-old is off to a strong start this season after striking out five batters over 3.1 shutout innings, picking up holds in two of his four appearances.

Brito started at second base and went 2-for-4 with a double in Tuesday's 2-1 win over the Royals.

The 24-year-old infield prospect had a whirlwind 24 hours. He was in Worcester (Mass.) with Triple-A Columbus on Monday when the Guardians called him up to replace shortstop Gabriel Arias (hamstring), who was placed on the 10-day injured list. Brito hopped an early flight Tuesday morning to Cleveland and made his MLB debut in the afternoon. With Arias out of action, Brayan Rocchio moved from second base to short, which opened a position for the switch-hitting Brito, who could step into a platoon at the keystone.

Rocchio started at shortstop and went 1-for-4 with an RBI in Tuesday's 2-1 win over Kansas City.

Rocchio played the hero with a single in the bottom of the ninth inning that plated the game-winning run. It was the second straight game with an RBI for Rocchio, who belted a home run in Monday's loss. He filled in at shortstop in the Guardians' first game without Gabriel Arias (hamstring), who was placed on the 10-day injured list Tuesday. Rocchio is slashing .206/.341/.665 through 12 games.

Manager Rob Thomson said Bohm reported groin tightness following Monday's win over the Giants, Lochlahn March of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

The Phillies will hold Bohm out of the lineup Tuesday to give him a day to recover, but Thomson said he expects the 29-year-old to be ready to return to action Wednesday. Edmundo Sosa will start at third base and bat fifth while Bohm rests.

Scarborough (melanoma) will likely report to High-A Hub City at the start of May, Jim Callis of MLB Pipeline reports.

Scarborough is building up innings in extended spring training after undergoing surgery in February to remove a melanoma. He was comically good in three starts at High-A to close 2025, striking out 19 while issuing two walks over 13 scoreless innings. Scarborough, who turned 21 at the beginning of April, could get a midseason bump to Double-A if he picks up where he left off last year for the Spartanburgers.

Rojas was scratched from the lineup for Tuesday's game against Toronto for personal reasons.

Rojas had been set to start at shortstop Tuesday, but he'll instead step away from the game to tend to more important issues. Hyeseong Kim will fill in at short and bat eighth.
