Hamilton is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Padres.

The Brewers have often held Hamilton out of the lineup against left-handed starters this season, but he'll take a seat Wednesday while the Padres send righty Michael King to the mound. With Hamilton on the bench, Milwaukee will go with Joey Ortiz at shortstop and Luis Rengifo at third base.

Laureano is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Brewers.

The Padres will hold Laureano out of the starting nine for the second time in three games while he has yet to break out of an extended funk at the plate. Over his last 24 contests, Laureano has struck out at least once in every contest while slashing a porous .181/.278/.313. Although his batting stats this season have taken a noticeable hit -- particularly in May with a .532 OPS through 11 games -- Ohtani continues to be one of the best pitchers in baseball, with the right-hander sporting a 0.97 ERA, 0.81 WHIP and 42:9 K:BB across 37 innings this season.
