Lorenzen didn't factor into the decision Friday against the Giants, allowing three runs on five hits and two walks with two strikeouts across 3.2 innings.

Lorenzen made relatively quick work of the Giants in the first two innings, but the wheels began to fall off the second time through the lineup. He allowed four of the first six batters to reach base in the top of the fourth before being yanked after 70 pitches. Lorenzen was on the hook for a sixth straight loss before the Colorado offense put up five runs in the bottom of the ninth to walk it off. On the season, Lorenzen has an ugly 7.22 ERA and 43:20 K:BB across 57.1 innings.

Pallante did not factor into the decision in Friday's 6-5 win over the Cubs, allowing four runs on eight hits and one walk with three strikeouts over three innings.

Pallante surrendered a three-run homer in the first inning and needed 75 pitches to complete a season-low three frames. He entered the contest on the heels of back-to-back quality starts and will finish May with a 4.73 ERA across five outings. For the year, he owns a 4.19 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 46:21 K:BB over 58 innings and lines up for a home matchup against the Rangers next week.

Rodriguez (elbow) has no timetable to progress to facing live hitters, MLB.com reports.

Rodriguez is tossing bullpen sessions, but the Rays seem to be taking a cautious approach with his throwing program. The right-hander underwent surgery to repair a right elbow flexor strain back on Aug. 8 of last year, and the hope remains that Rodriguez will still be able to return to action at some point in June or July.

Ewing went 2-for-4 with a two-run single, a steal and a run scored during the Mets' 9-7 extra-inning win over the Marlins on Friday.

Ewing gave the Mets an early 2-0 lead after his single to center field brought both Bo Bichette and Juan Soto home, and Ewing collected a steal and came home to score in the same frame. It was his fourth multi-hit game of the season. Since making his major-league debut May 13 against the Tigers, Ewing is slashing .268/.359/.357 with four steals, one home run and six RBI over 66 plate appearances.

Meyers went 2-for-4 with an RBI double in Friday's 5-4 extra-inning loss to the Brewers.

It was Meyers' first multi-hit game since returning from the injured list May 19. During that span, he's gone 5-for-28 (.179) at the plate with one double, one homer, two RBI, two runs scored and a 1:7 BB:K. For the season, Meyers is slashing .215/.278/.354 with two homers, six RBI, seven runs scored, one stolen base and a 5:15 BB:K across 72 plate appearances.

Manager Kevin Cash says Sulser (back) should return to the Rays "pretty soon," MLB.com reports .

Sulser has been facing hitters in live batting practice and is progressing well from a lower-back strain. It sounds like the 36-year-old right-hander will be able to dodge a minor-league rehab assignment before being reinstated from the 15-day injured list. Through 22 innings, Sulser has a 3.68 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 16:9 K:BB.

Smith went 2-for-4 with an RBI double, a solo homer and one walk in Friday's 5-4 extra-inning loss to the Brewers.

Smith continues to show signs of life at the plate, as he now has back-to-back multi-hit games with hits in nine of his last 11 contests. During that span, Smith has a pair of doubles, two homers and four RBI and has raised his average 25 points. After briefly losing some playing time in the Houston outfield, Smith has now started nine consecutive games and is slashing .221/.312/.358 with six homers, 21 RBI, 25 runs scored, seven stolen bases and a 22:59 BB:K across 219 plate appearances. His glove has helped keep him in the everyday lineup.

The Rays hope Wilson (back) will be able to start bullpen sessions June 8, MLB.com reports.

Wilson is only playing catch at this point, but Tampa Bay is optimistic he'll be able to advance his throwing program early next month. The right-hander has been sidelined since the spring due to lumbar disk inflammation as well as an appendectomy. Last regular season, Wilson posted a 3.42 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 51:22 K:BB over 55.1 innings with the White Sox.

Imanaga (4-6) took the loss against the Cardinals on Friday, allowing five runs on five hits and one walk with two strikeouts over 5.1 innings.

Imanaga surrendered three homers for the second straight start and has now yielded 10 long balls across six May contests. The southpaw has really struggled over his past three outings, allowing 20 earned runs while watching his ERA climb from 2.32 to 4.37. He still owns a solid 1.07 WHIP and 69:18 K:BB across 70 innings this season and will aim to get back on track in a home matchup against the Athletics next week.

Vientos went 1-for-4 with a solo home run during the Mets' 9-7 extra-inning win over the Marlins on Friday.

Vientos extended the Mets' lead to 5-1 in the third inning after taking Max Meyer deep to left-center field for a solo home run. It was the seventh long ball of the year for Vientos, five of which have come over his last 24 games since May 3. He is slashing .224/.261/.391 with 24 RBI and 15 extra-base hits over 184 plate appearances this season.
