Seager is not in the Rangers' starting lineup against the Guardians on Sunday.

Seager will get a breather after going 2-for-8 with a two-run home run in two games since being activated from the 10-day injured list Thursday. Ezequiel Duran will start at shortstop while Justin Foscue mans second base.

Mize (adductor) will make a rehab start with Single-A Lakeland on Tuesday, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports.

Mize landed on the 15-day injured list May 29 due to right adductor inflammation, but he doesn't appear to be headed for an extended stint on the shelf. After tossing a successful bullpen session Tuesday, Mize will now likely need just one rehab start before receiving the green light to rejoin the Detroit rotation. He could be a candidate to start for the Tigers as soon as next Sunday in Cleveland.

Mayo is not in the Orioles' starting lineup against the Blue Jays on Sunday, Matt Weyrich of The Baltimore Sun reports.

Mayo will get a rest day after going 0-for-4 with three strikeouts in Saturday's loss. Blaze Alexander will start at third base and bat ninth in Sunday's series finale.

Basallo (abdomen) is starting behind home plate and batting fifth against the Blue Jays on Sunday, Matt Weyrich of The Baltimore Sun reports.

Basallo was out of Saturday's lineup due to abdominal discomfort but entered the game in the ninth inning as a pinch hitter. He's been cleared to serve as the Orioles' catcher for Sunday's series finale while Adley Rutschman operates as the designated hitter.

Taveras is not in the Orioles' starting lineup against the Blue Jays on Sunday, Matt Weyrich of The Baltimore Sun reports.

Taveras will take a seat after going 0-for-8 with an RBI over the first two games of the series in Toronto. Taylor Ward, Colton Cowser and Tyler O'Neill will start in the outfield from left to right for Sunday's series finale.

Winn isn't starting for St. Louis on Sunday against Cincinnati.

Winn will get a breather after starting 14 straight games. He batted just .196 over that stretch, striking out 17 times over 60 plate appearances. Jose Fermin is drawing a start at shortstop in Winn's stead Sunday.

Hernaiz is not in the Athletics' starting lineup against the Astros on Sunday.

Hernaiz has struggled at the plate as of late, having gone 1-for-19 with two walks and six strikeouts over his last seven outings. He'll be on the bench for Sunday's series finale while Alika Williams starts at shortstop and bats ninth.

Lee went 2-for-4 with a stolen base and a run scored in Saturday's 3-2 extra-inning loss to the Cubs.

Lee collected two of San Francisco's five hits in this one, hitting singles in the seventh and ninth innings while scoring in the latter frame. The 27-year-old outfielder also logged his first stolen base of the season after his seventh-inning base hit. He's recorded at least one hit in 14 straight games dating back to May 14 and is slashing .324/.359/.449 with 30 runs scored, 21 RBI, three homers and a 10.4 percent strikeout rate across 231 plate appearances this season.

Bolte is not in the Athletics' starting lineup against the Astros on Sunday.

Bolte will take a seat after going 3-for-6 with one double, one walk and three strikeouts over the first two games of the series. Lawrence Butler will start in center field for Sunday's contest.

Verlander (hip) is scheduled to make a second rehab start Wednesday with Triple-A Toledo, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports.

Verlander turned in a successful rehab outing with Toledo back on Tuesday, tossing 64 pitches and allowing four hits and no walks while striking out three batters across five scoreless innings. Despite the strong showing, the Tigers have determined that Verlander will require at least one more outing in the minors to get stretched out further. If all goes well Wednesday, Verlander could then be reinstated from the 60-day injured list to make a start during the Tigers' three-game series in Houston that begins June 15. The 43-year-old righty made just one appearance for the Tigers this season before landing on the injured list April 4 due to left hip inflammation.
