Emerson was a late scratch from the lineup for Monday's game in Baltimore, Adam Jude of The Seattle Times reports.

There's no word yet on the reason for Emerson's removal from the lineup, but the Mariners should offer an update soon. Cole Young will slide over to shortstop and Ryan Bliss will enter the lineup at second base to accommodate Emerson's absence.

Andujar (hamstring) is not in the Padres' starting lineup against the Reds on Monday.

Andujar tweaked his hamstring during the seventh inning of Sunday's game against the Mets. He'll be out of the lineup for at least one game but could be available to pinch hit for Monday's game, per Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribune. Gavin Sheets will as the Padres' designated hitter in Andujar's absence.

The Athletics activated Muncy (hand) from the 10-day injured list Monday.

Muncy has been out of commission since late April due to a fractured left hand. He went 10-for-27 with three home runs and two doubles in seven minor-league rehab games, which was enough to convince the Athletics he was ready to rejoin the active roster. Muncy played some shortstop on his rehab assignment, and with Zack Gelof faring well at third base, Muncy could see some action at both spots on the left side of the infield, at least until Jacob Wilson (shoulder) returns from the IL.

Sanchez is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Phillies.

The Blue Jays will spare the left-handed-hitting Sanchez from a matchup with a tough lefty in Cristopher Sanchez and give him a breather in the series opener. With Sanchez on the bench, Toronto will go with Nathan Lukes and Yohendrick Pinango as its starters in the corner outfield.

Valenzuela is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Phillies.

Tyler Heineman will step in behind the plate for the series opener while Valenzuela gets a well-deserved breather following a productive weekend series against the Orioles. Valenzuela caught all three games against Baltimore, going 5-for-9 with two home runs, two doubles, one walk, five RBI and three runs. Though he currently sits atop the depth chart at catcher, Valenzuela could see his playing time get curbed dramatically as soon as the upcoming weekend, when Alejandro Kirk (thumb) may be ready to return from the 60-day injured list.

The Athletics optioned Hernaiz to Triple-A Las Vegas on Monday.

The Athletics had to make room on the 26-man roster after Max Muncy (hand) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list Monday, and Hernaiz was selected to move down to Triple-A. He has a .606 OPS with three steals, one home run and seven RBI over 134 plate appearances this season but has gone 3-for-26 (.115) across his last nine games. Hernaiz will work on his approach at the plate with Las Vegas and could return to the big club should the Athletics need depth in the infield.

Yoshida is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Rays.

The Rays are having left-hander Ian Seymour open the game, so the left-handed-hitting Yoshida will begin Monday's contest on the bench. In Yoshida's stead, the Red Sox will go with Mickey Gasper at designated hitter.

Woodford cleared waivers Monday and elected to enter free agency in lieu of accepting an outright assignment to Triple-A Nashville, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Woodford had given up four runs in two of his last four appearances before being designated for assignment by the Brewers on Friday. Now that he's opted for free agency, the 29-year-old reliever will have the opportunity to catch on with a team in need of right-handed depth out of the bullpen. Woodford produced a 6.94 ERA, 1.76 WHIP and 20:7 K:BB across 23.1 innings this season for Milwaukee.

Red Sox interim manager Chad Tracy said Monday that Anthony (finger) remains shut down from swinging a bat, Christopher Smith of MassLive.com reports.

Anthony landed on the injured list May 7 due to what the team initially labeled as a right wrist sprain before later reclassifying the injury as a sprained ligament on the base of his right ring finger. The 22-year-old outfielder had made enough progress to resume taking dry swings in late May before being shut down when he experienced renewed soreness while trying to hit off a tee. He's remained in a holding pattern in his recovery ever since, making it increasingly likely that he'll be shelved through at least the end of the month. Anthony's ongoing absence should continue to open up a regular spot in the lineup for Masataka Yoshida when the Red Sox face right-handed pitching.

Fedde will pitch in a bulk-relief role Tuesday against Atlanta at Rate Field, James Fegan of SoxMachine.com reports.

Fedde picked up his first win of the season in a traditional start last week versus the Twins, but he will follow opener Brandon Eisert on Tuesday. The right-handed Fedde has collected a 4.94 ERA and 36:24 K:BB over 58.1 frames for the White Sox this season.
