Wetherholt went 2-for-4 with two home runs and three RBI in Tuesday's 6-5 extra-inning win over the Guardians.

After striking out in his first plate appearance Tuesday, Wetherholt dug in and delivered the biggest swings of the night. The 23-year-old took Joey Cantillo deep for a solo shot in the third before adding a two-run homer in the eighth to cut the deficit to one in the eventual comeback win. Both long balls came on the first pitch of the at-bat and were off lefties. It was the first multi-homer game of his young career and his first long balls since going deep in his MLB debut on Opening Day. Through 17 games, the rookie is slashing .231/.338/.385 with eight RBI and 13 runs scored.

Peraza went 3-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Tuesday's 7-1 win over the Yankees.

After Mike Trout, Jo Adell and Jorge Soler all took Ryan Weathers deep for solo homers in the top of the first inning, Peraza added =a solo shot of his own in the third, sending a changeup over the wall in left field. Peraza has started 13 of the Angels' 18 games to begin the season, seeing action at both second and third base. He's slashing .267/.327/.511 with three home runs, five RBI, four runs scored, one stolen base and a 4:12 BB:K across 50 plate appearances.

Yamamoto allowed one run on four hits and one walk while striking out seven batters over 7.2 innings in a no-decision against the Mets on Tuesday.

Yamamoto began his outing by allowing a leadoff homer to Francisco Lindor, but he then retired the next 20 batters who stepped up to the plate against him. The spell was broken with a Bo Bichette double in the seventh inning, and four of the final seven Mets to face Yamamoto reached base, but none scored. Overall, the All-Star hurler got a whopping 23 whiffs while working into the eighth for the first time this season. Yamamoto has recorded a quality start in all four of his appearances on the campaign and has yet to give up more than two runs in any outing. He's cruised to a 2.10 ERA, 0.82 WHIP and 21:3 K:BB across his first 25.2 innings in 2026.

Moncada went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and three RBI in Tuesday's 7-1 win over the Yankees.

Moncada was twice a strikeout victim of Ryan Weathers in his first two plate appearances before singling home a pair of runs against Paul Blackburn in the sixth. Moncada then took Yerry De Los Santos deep in the eighth. After an extremely slow start to the season, Moncada has three multi-hit games in his last four appearances and is now slashing .184/.355/.347 with two home runs, seven RBI, seven runs scored and an 11:23 BB:K across 62 trips to the plate.

Weathers (0-2) took the loss Tuesday against the Angels, allowing five runs on five hits and two walks with 10 strikeouts across five innings.

Weathers was hurt by the long ball Tuesday, as he surrendered back-to-back-to-back home runs to Mike Trout, Jo Adell and Jorge Soler in the top of the first inning, putting the Yankees in a quick 3-0 hole. Weathers later gave up another solo shot to Oswald Peraza in the third frame. The first three homers came on fastballs before Peraza deposited a changeup into the left-field seats. Aside from the home runs, Weathers clearly had the swing-and-miss stuff working once again, as he's racked up at least seven strikeouts in three of his first four starts to begin the season. Weathers had yet to allow a home run prior to Tuesday. He now owns a 4.29 ERA and 28:7 K:BB across 21 innings. He's pitched much better than that ERA would indicate and has shown he belongs in the Yankees' rotation. Weathers is scheduled to make his next start Sunday at home against the Royals.

Smith blew the save Tuesday against the Cardinals, allowing one unearned run on one hit while striking out one over one inning.

Smith appeared on his way to a clean save after retiring the first two batters on just five pitches, but an infield error extended the inning and allowed Masyn Winn to reach. Winn came around to score one batter later on a game-tying double by Yohel Pozo, saddling Smith with his second blown save in five chances this season. To his credit, the right-hander regrouped and struck out the next batter to prevent further damage and send the game to extras. The preseason AL Reliever of the Year favorite has had an uneven start, posting a 5.00 ERA and 1.33 WHIP through nine innings.

Gore (2-1) took the loss against the Athletics on Tuesday, allowing two runs on three hits and six walks while striking out five batters over 4.2 innings.

It's somewhat impressive that Gore was able to emerge with just two runs allowed on his stat line given the six walks. The Rangers left six of the batters who reached against the lefty on base, but the two runs they scored against him were enough to get the victory. Gore hadn't previously had control problems this season -- he allowed a tolerable five walks over 16.1 innings across his first three starts -- but he did struggle with walks during the second half of last year, so it's something to keep an eye on. His overall 3.00 ERA and 30:11 K:BB through 21 frames to begin the campaign remain promising.

Soler went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, two walks and two runs scored in Tuesday's 7-1 win over the Yankees.

After Mike Trout and Jo Adell both went deep off Ryan Weathers in the top of the first inning, Soler hit a solo shot of his own to make it back-to-back-to-back homers for the Angels. It was Soler's fifth long ball of the young season and his fourth in the last seven games. In that span, Soler owns a 1.185 OPS with 10 RBI, seven runs scored and a 4:7 BB:K across 31 trips to the plate.

Miller earned a save against the Rangers on Tuesday, striking out two batters over a scoreless inning of work.

Leiter had just a one-run lead to work with when he entered in the ninth, but he breezed through a 1-2-3 inning on just 13 pitches. The right-hander recorded the Athletics' first save of the season March 31 against Atlanta, but he had blown his subsequent save chances (both of which were eighth-inning appearances) coming into Tuesday. Over the past week, Joel Kuhnel posted two saves for the team while Hogan Harris recorded one, so it's anyone's guess who will get the next opportunity. The Athletics' closer situation appears to be a full-fledged committee, making it tough to approach from a fantasy angle.

Mike Trout, Adell and Jorge Soler went back-to-back-to-back with solo shots in the top of the first inning against left-hander Ryan Weathers. Adell's homer was just his second of the season, as his flyball and hard-hit rates are down to begin the 2026 campaign. Even with the depressed rates, Adell is still getting on base and finding holes in the defense, as he's slashing .315/.351/.411 with the two long balls, eight RBI, eight runs scored, one stolen base and a 1:13 BB:K across 77 plate appearances.
