Schneemann is the most likely candidate to fill in at third base after Jose Ramirez suffered a fractured left hamate bone Saturday, Tim Stebbins of MLB.com reports.

The utility player had already entered Saturday's game for injured outfielder Chase DeLauter (ribs) but moved to the hot corner after Ramirez exited. Schneemann's the most likely candidate to cover for Ramirez, having made 43 career starts and 63 appearances at third base. David Fry is another option, but he's handled only 18 career innings at the hot corner. If Guardians manager Stephen Vogt wants to leave Schneemann in a more versatile role -- which the manager values -- the team could bring Gabriel Arias (hamstring) off the 60-day IL to mix in at third base as well.

Goldschmidt went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in a 3-1 victory versus Toronto on Saturday.

The score was tied 1-1 when Goldschmidt came to the plate in the top of the ninth and drove a Louis Varland offspeed pitch over the left-field wall to provide the decisive runs for the Yankees. Goldschmidt extended his hitting streak to six games with the blast, and he's slashing .375/.407/.625 with two homers and eight RBI during that stretch. With Aaron Judge (ribs), Giancarlo Stanton (calf) and Trent Grisham (hamstring) all on the injured list, Goldschmidt's role in New York's offense has taken on extra significance. He's been a regular in the lineup since mid-May and has stepped up with an .889 OPS, nine homers, 31 RBI, 24 runs and a stolen base over 170 plate appearances on the campaign.

Johnston went 2-for-3 with an RBI on Saturday against the Athletics.

Johnston delivered an RBI single in the fourth inning and tallied another base knock four frames later before getting pulled for a pinch runner. It was his sixth multi-hit performance in his last 12 games, and Johnston has hit .348 with seven RBI and five runs scored in that span. He has an impressive .316 batting average across 249 plate appearances for the campaign.

Jansen pitched a scoreless inning of relief with two strikeouts in Saturday's 3-1 loss to the Guardians.

Jansen was reinstated Friday after landing on the injured list in late May due to right pelvic inflammation, and he looked good in his first game action since returning. The veteran reliever had blown four saves and seen his ERA climb to 4.80 before getting shut down, but it's possible he wasn't quite right mechanically. Now that he's had time to rest and recover, Jansen should slot back in as Detroit's closer, and he can still be an effective pitcher at this stage of his long career when healthy, as he demonstrated last season with a 2.59 ERA and 0.95 WHIP across 59 innings with the Angels.

Arias (hamstring) is one option to fill in at third base after Jose Ramirez suffered a fractured left hamate bone Saturday, Tim Stebbins of MLB.com reports.

Arias is currently on a rehab assignment at Triple-A Columbus, where he's being prepared for a utility role, including one game at third base. Daniel Schneemann and David Fry are also possibilities on the current roster. Arias can be activated off the 60-day IL at any point.

Torres went 2-for-4 with a walk, a double and a run scored in Saturday's 3-1 loss to the Guardians.

Torres led off the game with his sixth double of the season, then came around to score on a Dillon Dingler single. Torres has four multi-hit performances across his last 10 contests, and he's slashing .350/.422/.600 during that span with two home runs, seven RBI and eight runs scored. Torres looks to be kicking things into gear and should remain a strong fantasy asset, especially in OBP formats.

Dingler went 2-for-4 with a triple and an RBI in Saturday's 3-1 loss to the Guardians.

Dingler plated Detroit's first and only run of the contest on a first-inning single, then recorded his first triple of the season later in the game. The catcher has been providing plenty of extra-base hits lately with a triple, four doubles, six home runs and a 1.112 OPS across his last 15 games. Dingler could be ticketed for his first All-Star appearance next month, as he's been one of the best offensive backstops in the majors this year.

Walker went 1-for-5 with a home run and three RBI in Saturday's win over the Royals.

Walker launched a two-run shot in the top of the fourth inning, giving him 18 homers on the year. The first baseman then plated the game-winning run in the top of the ninth with an RBI groundout. Walker has hit safely in nine of his 11 games since the beginning of June, but he's hitting just .239 over that span with a .749 OPS, two homers, nine RBI and five runs scored in 48 plate appearances.

Swanson went 0-for-4 with a walk, a run scored and three strikeouts in Saturday's 6-1 win over the Giants.

While Swanson salvaged some fantasy value by drawing a walk and coming around to score, he still had a rough day. The shortstop is just 1-for-12 over his last four games and is batting a paltry .133 this month, which has lowered his batting average on the season to .176. The Cubs don't have an obvious replacement for Swanson on their roster, however, unless they wanted to try Nico Hoerner at short on a more regular basis and open up second base for the likes of Matt Shaw or Pedro Ramirez.

Realmuto went 3-for-4 with a home run, four RBI and a walk in Saturday's win over the Brewers.

Realmuto blasted a three-run homer in the top of the sixth inning, after contributing an RBI single that scored Bryson Stott in the fourth. Despite this strong showing, Realmuto has been slumping at the plate of late. He's gone hitless in nine of his last 12 games, slashing .135/.256/.297 in that span.
