Giants' Joel Peguero: Returns to Giants' bullpen
The Giants reinstated (hamstring) from the injured list Tuesday, Justice delos Santos of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
Peguero has been on the injured list since the beginning of the season due to a Grade 2 hamstring strain he suffered during spring training. He started up a rehab assignment at Triple-A Sacramento on April 7 and will now return to the Giants after posting a 4.82 ERA and 0.86 WHIP through 9.1 frames in the minors. The 29-year-old righty held his own in the big leagues last season, posting a 2.42 ERA and 1.03 WHIP over 22.1 innings, and he'll likely work in a setup or middle-relief role with San Francisco.

Davis isn't in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Diamondbacks
Davis will begin on the bench for a second consecutive game after going just 2-for-15 with a pair of home runs over his last four starts. Joey Bart will start behind the plate and bat eighth.

Murphy isn't in the lineup for Tuesday's game against Seattle.
Murphy went 0-for-3 with a pair of strikeouts during his season debut Monday, and Atlanta will keep him on the bench Wednesday while the team looks to ease him back into major-league action following his return from hip surgery. Drake Baldwin will handle catching duties, and Dominic Smith will start as the designated hitter.

Braves' Michael Harris: Back in starting nine
Harris (quad) will start in left field and bat fourth against the Mariners on Tuesday.
A quad injury kept Harris out of the lineup for each of Atlanta's last two games, though he was able to appear as a pinch hitter Monday. Now back starting in the outfield, he'll aim to continue a hot start that's seen him slash .318/.351/.551 with seven homers, 22 RBI and 13 runs scored through 33 games.

Padres' Kyle Hart: Sent to Triple-A
The Padres optioned Hart to Triple-A El Paso on Tuesday.
The left-hander was unable to earn rotation spot to begin the season after a solid showing during spring training, and he was inconsistent as a reliever with a 5.40 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 10:6 K:BB over 16.2 innings. Yuki Matsui (groin) was reinstated from the injured list to take Hart's roster spot.

Padres' Sung-Mun Song: Rejoins big club
The Padres called up Song from Triple-A El Paso on Tuesday, AJ Cassavell of MLB.com reports.
Song's promotion comes as a corresponding move to the Padres placing Jake Cronenworth on the seven-day concussion injured list Tuesday. Since being optioned to Triple-A El Paso on April 27, Song has slashed .292/.346/.458 with a home run, three RBI and a stolen base across 26 plate appearances in five games.

The Padres reinstated Matsui (groin) from the 15-day injured list Tuesday.
The Japanese left-hander has been on the shelf all season after sustaining a groin strain early in spring training, but he's now fully cleared after a month-long rehab assignment, during which he posted a 4.97 ERA, 1.58 WHIP and 14:3 K:BB across 12.2 innings. Matsui should step into a middle-relief role for the Padres after posting a 3.98 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 61:33 K:BB across 61 regular-season appearances last year.

Cardinals' Andre Pallante: MIL-STL postponed Tuesday
Pallante and the Cardinals won't face the Brewers on Tuesday, as the game was postponed due to inclement weather, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.
Tuesday's game will be made up during a doubleheader July 7; meanwhile, Pallante's next start will be pushed back to Wednesday, per Jones. The 27-year-old righty has been pitching well as of late, turning in a 2.76 ERA and 1.10 WHIP alongside a 19:6 K:BB over 16.1 innings across his last three starts.

The Padres placed Cronenworth on the 7-day concussion injured list Tuesday, AJ Cassavell of MLB.com reports.
It has not been revealed when or how Cronenworth suffered a concussion. The veteran infielder has had a rough season thus far with an OPS of just .498 and a .077/.200./.077 slash line over the last seven days as of Tuesday. The Padres recalled Sung-Mun Song in a corresponding move.
