Pallante allowed five runs (two earned) on three hits and two walks while striking out four over 2.2 innings in a no-decision versus the Giants.

This was Pallante's shortest outing since his 1.2-inning appearance against the Cubs on Aug. 9, though he has had plenty of struggles in that span. The right-hander was able to avoid a loss for just the second time in his last 10 starts as the Cardinals rallied for a comeback in the late innings. Pallante is now at a 5.31 ERA, 1.44 WHIP and 111:62 K:BB through 162.2 innings over 31 starts this season, and he is not projected to make another appearance in 2025.

Rortvedt went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 5-4 loss to the Diamondbacks.

The homer was Rortvedt's first of the season, giving the Dodgers a 4-0 lead in the seventh inning. He has seen steady playing time in September while filling in for Will Smith (hand). Over 15 games this month, Rortvedt has gone 11-for-40 (.275) with three extra-base hits and four RBI. He's up to a .275/.341/.400 slash line with 10 RBI, nine runs scored and three doubles across 117 plate appearances this season.

Hernandez went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a two-run triple in Tuesday's 5-4 loss to the Diamondbacks.

Hernandez had gone just 2-for-20 over his previous six games, and he was given Sunday off to reset before a team off day Monday. The outfielder responded well, opening the scoring with his solo shot in the second inning before plating two more runs in the sixth on his first triple of the year. He's at a .246/.285/.459 slash line with 25 homers, 88 RBI, 64 runs scored, five stolen bases and 28 doubles across 130 contests.

Scott (1-4) allowed two runs on a hit, a walk and a hit batsman over two-thirds of an inning, taking a blown save and the loss Tuesday versus the Diamondbacks.

Scott was tasked with protecting a one-run lead in the ninth inning and couldn't get the job done. He entered Tuesday with a four-inning scoreless streak, but much of that had come in lower-leverage spots after his struggles in late August and early September. Over his last 10 outings, the southpaw has allowed nine runs with a 7:6 K:BB in 7.1 innings while converting just two of five save chances. He's now at a 4.91 ERA, 1.27 WHIP and 57:17 K:BB across 55 innings while converting 22 of 32 save opportunities. Manager Dave Roberts hasn't made a change at the back of his bullpen yet, but if Scott is removed from the closer role, Alex Vesia could get more save chances.

Ohtani allowed five hits and struck out eight without walking a batter over six scoreless innings in a no-decision versus the Diamondbacks on Tuesday. He also went 0-for-3 with a walk and a run scored as a batter in the Dodgers' 5-4 loss.

Ohtani crossed the 90-pitch mark for the first time this season, throwing 63 of 91 pitches for strikes in another stellar start. He's kept runs off the board throughout September, allowing just eight hits with an 18:2 K:BB through 14.2 innings across his three starts this month. Ohtani is expected to be in the Dodgers' playoff rotation, so it's a big positive to see him looking both in form and fully stretched out in his final tuneup before the postseason. He's posted a 2.87 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 62:9 K:BB through 47 innings across 14 appearances this season.

Del Castillo hit a two-run home run in his lone at-bat in Tuesday's 5-4 win over the Dodgers.

Del Castillo contributed to the Diamondbacks' comeback effort with a seventh-inning blast to pull them within a run. This was his second homer in his last five games, though he's mostly been limited to bench duties recently. The rookie is up to four homers, 16 RBI, nine runs scored and a .246/.281/.404 slash line over 40 big-league contests (121 plate appearances).

Pfaadt allowed three runs on four hits and two walks while striking out four over six innings in a no-decision Tuesday versus the Dodgers.

Pfaadt had some trouble against Teoscar Hernandez, who hit a solo home run and a two-run triple off the Arizona righty. Other than that, it was a fine performance for Pfaadt, who has not taken a loss in his last seven outings. He's allowed 21 runs over 39.2 innings in that span, but he's also posted a 34:7 K:BB, showing some improvements in control down the stretch. For the season, he has a 5.00 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 142:37 K:BB through 172.2 innings across 32 starts.

De La Cruz went 3-for-3 with a two-run homer and a walk in Tuesday's loss to Pittsburgh.

De La Cruz's second-inning home run was the only source of offense for the Reds. It was his second long ball in his last four appearances after finally snapping a 43-game drought. He entered August with an .852 OPS, but he's now sporting a .784 OPS through 677 plate appearances. De La Cruz has 21 homers, 59 extra-base hits and 36 stolen bases this season.

Singer (14-11) yielded four runs on seven hits over 5.1 innings Tuesday, striking out three and taking a loss against the Pirates.

All four runs against Singer came in the second inning, capped off by Oneil Cruz's two-run blast. After a stretch of six consecutive quality starts, Singer has failed to complete six innings in either of his last two appearances. Tuesday was the first time he gave up more than three runs in an outing since Aug. 7, which was also against the Pirates. Singer now owns a 3.95 ERA with a 158:59 K:BB through 166.1 frames. He's expected to take the mound in Milwaukee this weekend for his final start of the regular season.

Oviedo did not factor in the decision during Tuesday's win over the Reds. He allowed two runs on two hits and three walks over 4.2 innings while striking out seven.

Oviedo coughed up a two-run shot to Elly De La Cruz in the second inning but otherwise didn't face much trouble. It was Oviedo's fifth straight time issuing three walks, and he's done so in six of his eight starts this year. However, he set new season bests with seven punchouts and 12 swinging strikes, including four with his fastball. Oviedo is not expected to make another start this season, which means he will likely end the year with a 3.57 ERA and a 39:20 K:BB through 35.1 frames. He did not make his season debut until Aug. 4 after recovering from Tommy John surgery.
