Freeman went 2-for-3 with a walk, two RBI, one stolen base and one run scored in Tuesday's 7-6 win over the Rockies.

Freeman had gone 0-for-11 over three games versus the Brewers after falling dangerously into the dugout during the Dodgers' series versus the Royals early last week. He's gotten his bat back on track in the thin air of Colorado, going 5-for-8 over the first two games of this series against the Rockies. The first baseman is batting .304 with an .846 OPS, 15 home runs, 60 RBI, 62 runs scored, 29 doubles, one triple and six steals over 123 contests this season.

Ohtani went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's 7-6 win over the Rockies.

Ohtani has reached the 30-homer mark for the sixth year in a row, though he's still well off the pace that saw him club more than 50 homers in each of the previous two seasons. The superstar has made his presence felt with four homers and nine RBI over his last nine contests. He's batting .294 with a .948 OPS this season, to go with 80 RBI, 82 runs scored, 24 doubles, three triples and seven stolen bases. Ohtani also threw a bullpen session Tuesday as he continues to work his way back from knee issues that have kept him off the mound in game action since July 3.

Scott allowed one run on two hits and failed to record a strikeout or walk over 1.1 innings to earn the save in Tuesday's 7-6 win over the Rockies.

Scott inherited a mess from Evan Phillips in the eighth inning but was able to get out of it. In the ninth, Scott gave up a run but maintained the lead to record his 17th save of the season. Edwin Diaz (neck) is back on the injured list after struggling mightily for a couple of weeks following his return from an elbow injury. Scott has had plenty of success in the closer role this year, and he's allowed just two runs over 11.2 innings since the All-Star break, collecting four saves and six holds in that span. If Scott continues to pitch well in the closer role, the job could be his even when Diaz is healthy again. Overall, Scott has a 2.32 ERA, 0.93 WHIP and 62:11 K:BB across 50.1 innings this season as one of the Dodgers' most reliable relievers, regardless of role.

Lauer (8-6) allowed four runs on six hits and a walk while striking out six over five innings to earn the win over the Rockies on Tuesday.

Lauer didn't have a great performance at Coors Field, but he pitched better than opposing starter Ryan Feltner. With 12 runs allowed (11 earned) over his last 15.1 innings, Lauer's form has dropped off during August. He's at a 4.79 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 69:32 K:BB through 103.1 innings over 20 games (17 starts) between the Dodgers and Blue Jays this year. Lauer's place in the rotation looks safe considering Justin Wrobleski (forearm) landed on the injured list Sunday, leaving the Dodgers with five healthy starters on the roster. They appear likely to get by with a five-man rotation thanks to upcoming off days Thursday and Monday, and Lauer is projected to make his next start early next week in Atlanta.

Mahle (4-10) took the loss Tuesday against the Twins, allowing two runs on six hits and one walk while striking out three over 6.2 innings.

Mahle allowed a two-out double in the first inning before Josh Bell launched a two-run homer to open the scoring. The right-hander settled in nicely from there as he didn't surrender another run, recording 17 outs against the final 19 batters he faced. Unfortunately for Mahle, Atlanta provided just one run of support, saddling him with his 10th loss. He's delivered a quality start in each of his three outings since joining the team, allowing only three runs across 18.2 innings while striking out 19 during that span. Mahle owns a 4.53 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 108:40 K:BB across 113.1 innings this season. He will face a tougher test in his next scheduled start against the star-studded Dodgers.

Quintana (elbow) threw 45 pitches in a bullpen session Tuesday, MLB.com reports.

Quintana has been building up his workload, with Tuesday's session being his most extensive since he was sidelined. The veteran southpaw is expected to throw live batting practice Aug. 22, with the goal of reaching 60 pitches.

Karros (concussion) has resumed baseball activity at Colorado's team complex in Arizona, MLB.com reports.

Karros is eligible to return from the injured list Wednesday, but that does not seem likely. Instead, it's suggested that Karros is trending toward activation for Colorado's weekend series against the Guardians.

Harrison (10-3) earned the win Tuesday against the Mariners, allowing two hits and two walks while striking out eight over five scoreless innings.

Harrison threw 49 of his 79 pitches for strikes and generated an impressive 30 combined called and swinging strikes. He departed with just a 1-0 lead before Milwaukee's offense erupted in the later innings of the eventual 22-run win. Harrison has completed five innings only twice over his last five starts, but he's been dominant in both, combining to allow just three hits and no runs while striking out 18. The left-hander has held opponents to three or fewer earned runs in 19 of his 20 starts this season, with the lone exception being a disastrous 2.1-inning, eight-run outing against the Athletics. Harrison will carry a 2.84 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 122:26 K:BB across 98.1 innings into his next scheduled start Tuesday against the Mets.

Feduccia exited Tuesday night's game against the Rockies in the seventh inning with an illness, Jack Harris of the California Post reports.

After Troy Johnston struck out to lead off the bottom of the seventh inning, Feduccia started vomiting and ran off the field and down the tunnel into the clubhouse. Ben Rortvedt came on to replace him behind the plate. Prior to leaving, Feduccia went 0-for-1 at the plate with a pair of walks and one run scored.

Thornton (3-4) took the loss against the Padres on Tuesday, allowing three runs on six hits and one walk with seven strikeouts over five innings.

All three runs surrendered by Thornton came via two homers by Fernando Tatis. The 24-year-old still threw a strong 69 of 99 pitches for strikes with 14 whiffs, and he's yielded exactly three earned runs in four of his six starts since the All-Star break, with the other two outings being scoreless victories. He owns a 3.04 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 36:14 K:BB across 50.1 major-league innings this season and lines up for a home matchup with the Brewers next week.
