Arenado is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game in Miami.

Arenado went 0-for-6 in Monday's extra-innings win over the Marlins and is just 3-for-20 over his last five games, so he's being given a day off to regroup. Brandon Crawford is making his first career start at third base.

Benson is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against Pittsburgh.

Benson will dodge a matchup with southpaw Bailey Falter on Tuesday. Instead, Spencer Steer will play left field, Jeimer Candelario will slide to first base and Santiago Espinal will slot in at third base.

Grandal is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Reds.

Grandal has now started every other game across the last nine contests. It was initially Henry Davis (concussion) receiving the other starts, but with Davis sidelined, Jason Delay is doing the catching Tuesday.

Cruz is not in the lineup for Tuesday's contest versus the Reds.

The left-handed hitting Cruz will begin this one on the bench as the Reds send southpaw Nick Lodolo to the hill. Jared Triolo is getting the start at shortstop for the Pirates.

Friedl (hamstring) is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Pirates.

Friedl was removed from Monday's loss in the fifth inning after sustaining a hamstring injury. While it's only considered tightness, Friedl will be held out of Tuesday's lineup as Stuart Fairchild will bat leadoff and play center field instead. Friedl could return for Wednesday's series finale, but with a team day off Thursday, the Reds could opt to play it safe with the 28-year-old.

Winker (knee) is batting third and playing left field Tuesday against the Diamondbacks.

Winker exited Saturday's game against the Marlins with a right knee injury, but he's back in the Nationals' lineup after a one-game absence. The 30-year-old is slashing .265/.378/.390 with 11 stolen bases this season.

Hollowell was claimed off waivers by the Diamondbacks on Tuesday and was optioned to Triple-A Reno.

Hollowell will enter the D-Backs' farm system after being part of the Rockies' organization since 2021. He's made 32 MLB appearances with Colorado, posting a 6.20 ERA and a 40:22 K:BB across 40.2 innings. He missed all of May with an unspecified injury but has made four appearances since being reinstated from the IL.

Pache will start in center field and bat eighth in Tuesday's game versus the Padres.

When Johan Rojas was sent down, the expectation was that Pache would be due for an uptick in playing time in center field versus left-handed pitching. However, he's in Tuesday's lineup against righty Michael King in just the second game since Rojas' demotion. Brandon Marsh will play left field and David Dahl will be on the bench.

Dahl is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Padres.

The Padres are starting right-hander Michael King, but the left-handed hitting Dahl nonetheless finds himself on the bench to begin this one. Brandon Marsh will play left field and Cristian Pache is getting the start in center.

Fortes is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Cardinals.

Fortes has started 11 of Miami's first 14 games in June despite going 3-for-31 during that stretch, but he'll take a seat for Tuesday's contest. Christian Bethancourt will work behind the plate and bat ninth in his place.
